So today's session we are looking at how to 10x your content, but basically just how to make a lot more content from starting from less effort. So we're going to look at systemizing the process, but also we're going to bring in AI. I've got a couple of different tools I want to show you today. So we're not just looking at ChatGPT today. I've got a couple other tools I want to also show you of how to which you can use to maximize the content that you are creating for less effort. It.
So that's what we're looking at today. So I want to start off just by, oh, by the way, if anybody does have any questions throughout the session, I'm going to come back at the end and give some time for questions, if anybody has any. So please do put them in the chat box if you have any questions and I'll come back to those at the end. So a couple of things to point out. A lot of people have problems with content marketing because they think in their head it's too much effort to do, there's too much content to make and they don't have the time for it. So that is a big problem that people have. They think, I don't have the time to sit down and write one blog post every week or manage all of the social media channels when people are commenting and respond to people. I don't have time to do all of that. I, I don't have time to write all the emails and send all of those out to people. Okay, that's a big problem that people have. And another problem that people have is that they don't know what, what to create. They don't know what ideas to come up with what, what content to make, what's going to convert, what, what's going to engage people, what content should I be making, what should I be putting out there? So those are a couple of problems that, that people tend to, tend to have when it comes to content marketing. Now when we can learn to do things like systemize and opt and automate our processes, it's going to get a lot easier to do that.
So let me bring my slide back up. So these are a couple of things that we want to be looking at doing to make sure that we are maximizing the content that we're creating. So content marketing doesn't have to be hard. What we can do is we can batch our content so we're not sitting down once a week to write a blog post and then post it out. We're not sitting down once a week to film a video for YouTube and post it out. We're pre recording things. Now if you're in an industry where you need to be super on the on the ball and be constantly updating things really, really live, then it's a different story. But for most industries that the accounting, for most people in the accounting industry, you can batch a lot of your content and have that preset ready to go out for the year. So we're going to sit down on one day, maybe every month, maybe you do two or three days, and that's you can create all your content for the year. And when I show you these ways that you can automate and streamline this process, you can see how in a couple of days you can create a lot of content and pre schedule it for your entire year. So we can batch content, we can schedule that content to go out in the so that we spend one day doing that work and then we don't have to worry about it because it's gonna go out automatically without us thinking about it. So we can automate a lot of those processes as well. That's by using scheduling tools. So social media scheduling tools, we use Meet Edgar, there's also socialbe, there's ones that have.
Features inbuilt into them. So I think 17 hats is a common one. But there's, there's lots of tools out there that allow you to pre schedule those social media content and also things like your blogs, your YouTube videos that go out, all of that sort of stuff. So we can automate a lot of that process and pre schedule it so that it goes out. We do it once, we don't have to worry about it. We also want to be thinking about recycling the content that we make a lot of people think. Once you've made that piece of content and you've posted it, that's it, it's done. I can't use that again. But what we actually know is that particularly on social media platforms where you are not in control of the algorithms of what people see, sometimes people won't see your content even though you've posted it. Maybe they see it, but they don't engage with it. Maybe they kind of engage with it, but they don't really take the message away and they don't actually learn and they need to see it a couple of times before the message sinks in and they take action on that point. So all of this is to say you can reuse the content that you make so if you make something once and you post that in January, you can post that again in July. People might not have seen it. People might not have remembered that they have seen it or engaged with it. And it's still valuable content. And as well, somebody might join you in January on your social media platforms, but somebody might, somebody else might only join you in July and they're not going to scroll back through six months worth of content. Right? So if you, if that content is still valuable, it's worth reposting. So making sure that we are getting the most out of that content and we are reusing and recycling it, we're not making fresh stuff all the time. We, we probably will have systems in the business where we are creating fresh content, but it's not all going to be fresh content. It doesn't all have to be fresh content. So recycling is really important. We also want to repurpose the content that we make. So we might start off with a long video, which is kind of the example we're going to use today. We're going to start off with a long video. We can then repurpose that and use that in different areas. So we can turn it into a workbook. We can make blog posts from it, we can make shorter videos from it, we can post on Instagram and TikTok with really short videos. We can post to Facebook and LinkedIn and whatever and make social posts. We can do a lot of stuff derived from that one piece of effort that you've put in. So maybe you film a 45 minute video, it takes you that long to do, and then you repurpose it and use it in a multitude of different ways. So you're not just sitting down and filming that video and then thinking, okay, now I need to film another video to get more content. You, you can maximize the content that you are making from that one bit of effort. And that's something that we are going to be looking at, how to kind of make a system of doing that using our AI tools that are available to us. Finally, you also want to delegate. Now, I kind of consider this in two ways. So if you have somebody on your team that you can delegate to, amazing. Create the system first yourself. So what we're going to do today, learn the process, the system of how to make this a quick job, then delegate that work as a quick job already to a team member. Alternatively, if you don't have staff, if you don't have a team and you're the only person working, you can delegate the work to AI okay. So we can bring that in and it will help us to significantly reduce the amount of time we spend working on these tasks. So we're kind of in that way delegating it to AI, which we, we view as our personal virtual assistant. Anyway. So you're passing that work off to the AI, working with it to reduce the amount that you have to do, but maximize the output that you're getting. Okay, so those are some things that we just want to kind of have in the back of our mind of, of what we are trying to do with our content to make it an easier process. Okay. We also want to consider why we are making content in the first place. So why, why is content marketing important? I'm going to whiz through these. First of all, brand awareness. You want to get your name out there. You want people to understand who you are, what you do. They may have never heard of you before. You just want generally people to be aware of your business. We also want to position ourselves as an authority in your area that you work in. Whether that's, you have a niche, whether you have a specialist kind of service that you do, like tax planning or business advisory or something like that. You want to position yourself as the authority in that area so that people really want to work with you because they see that you are the best and that you are an expert and that you are the. The best equipped to help them with their very particular issues and situation and problems. You are the best person to help them. So using your content, you can demonstrate your expertise to show that you have the ability to help your potential clients to a high level by. And you demonstrate that through your content. Okay. And we also demonstrate that by delivering value with that content. So the content isn't necessarily just, you know, I don't know, just random posts throughout a day. You want that content to be delivering some level of value by solving a problem that your potential client has, or by giving them a quick win, or by inspiring them sharing a result that you've got for somebody who's in a very similar position to them. Okay, maybe you work with restaurants and you've got a really great case study of somebody that, that you helped. You can share that that's going to inspire them. Okay. So our content wants to be doing that. And it's really important that we have a clear idea of who our client is so that we know how to deliver value to them. So we always talk about having an ideal client profile. And this is about having a, like, almost a checklist of criteria that, you know, your client is fits those criteria, they have those pain points, they have those goals, the ambitions, they have these challenges. Once you know all of that information about them, that will really help to make your content marketing much more effective, because you know what they need and you can deliver on that value in your content. Okay? So that's a really powerful thing that we're doing with content marketing. We're growing our brand awareness. We're, we're building that authority positioning, we're delivering value, and in all of those things as well, we're also kind of building a relationship with that potential client. Because you're showing and demonstrating that if you have a really consistent social media, or maybe you post really consistently once every week, it's showing that you're professional, you're well put together, you're delivering good content, and it just demonstrates a, like a really professional level of your business, and it helps you stand out. And then finally, a really key point is that content marketing needs to have a purpose to it. So we, obviously, we have these purposes of brand awareness, authority positioning and stuff. But what we want is when somebody interacts with that piece of content, we don't want to lose their attention. We want that to be the start of a journey that we move them along. So we want to be using our content to drive those people to other areas of our business that we want them to interact with. So that might be. You have a lead magnet, which is a piece of content that you give away for free in exchange for somebody's name and email address. And when you drive people to that place, you can capture their contact details and continue to market and deliver value and grow a relationship with somebody. So maybe your content that you're posting, your blogs, your social media, your videos, are pushing them towards that lead magnet. Maybe it's pushing them towards your website. Maybe it's pushing them towards a community that you have, like a Facebook group. Maybe it's pushing them to book an appointment with you. Okay? Now, I would suggest you only have maybe one or two of those goals and generally just push them all in one direction if you can. But that is one of the kind of key purposes of content marketing is to start to funnel them along this process of engaging more and more with your business and building that relationship with them. Okay? So that's what the importance of content marketing is. Now what I want to do is I want to show you a couple of tools that we can use to help us create a lot more content in really simple, easy steps with less effort. So that example that I mentioned earlier about us starting with a big video, now this is the example I'm using because we know that video is really important in this day and age for many reasons. It's going to really help you stand out because not a lot of accountants and bookkeepers are making video. So it's really going to help you stand out. It's going to get your personality and your energy and your enthusiasm across to somebody in a much clearer way than it would just like written on a website, which is really important because you work in a relationship industry and you will have a relationship with your client. So they could gen genuinely pick somebody based on how well they think they would get on with that person. They. So getting your personality across is really important. So video is really important. We also know that in this AI world, increasingly a lot more people are making AI content and the human element of a video of you just talking to the camera and, and being real, being live, making mistakes and stuff that can get a lot more engagement because we are kind of drowning in AI content at the minute. And it will get more and more that way. So when you can have that more personal touch with video, that's really, really powerful. So that's why I'm explaining that we will start with a video. Even if you didn't want to start with doing like what I'm doing right now where I'm presenting to a bunch of people and I'm talking to you and I'm delivering content. Even if you didn't want to do it in that way, you could film a video where it's just you brainstorming your thoughts and you're not going to use that video other than in this process now, I would say it makes most sense to use your video, make a long one. And then what we're going to do is cut it up into different videos we can use. We're going to grab the transcription for that video and we're going to use that to create all of our other content across our business. So tool that I want to point out to you, one that we use in our business is a tool called Otter AI. Now there are several tools like this that will grab you a transcript from a video. Video is another one I'm going to show you that does exactly the same as well, this is just the one that we use. So we don't. We're not affiliated or anything. I just wanted to point it out. And all you do is you. So if I just go to our homepage, we can Import a video and then it will grab, grab the transcription for us. So if I just go to this one that I've previously done, I grabbed the live stream that, that I did last time I was on live, which was simplify your social media strategy, and I uploaded it into here. I had to wait maybe, maybe two or three minutes and it grabbed me the entire transcript for this. Now, not only did it grab me the transcript, it's also done for me because it's got a lot of AI features in here. It's done me a really useful summary so I can summarize that webinar. It's given me action items that people might like to take away and work on after the, after the that live stream. And then it's given me an outline here as well. So this is useful to take and put into something like Chat GPT to start making maybe a workbook, maybe a blog post, maybe a social media, whatever it needs to be. This is a great summary to take and put in there. We can also, on the right hand side you can see we can have a conversation with AI about the transcript. So it's got all of the information from that webinar that I did. So it has now all the information of, of, you know, what I taught. So if I had a question, I could ask the question here and it will go through the transcript, find the answer for me and give me a answer in a nice succinct way. It will make a new paragraph and tell and explain that to me and then guide me to the right area of the transcript where I might get a bit more information on that. So there's lots of really interesting things you can do with that. You can also, the really great thing about Otter AI is that you can connect it to your meeting app. So Zoom.
Google Meet is it teams. You can slack. You can connect it to all of these areas where you might have meetings. And then what we're talking about today really is about making content for your marketing strategy to bring new leads in. But I just thought I'd mention that what you could potentially do is link something like this up, which is called Otter AI by the way, somebody is asking the questions. Otter AI, link this to your Zoom. Have a meeting with your client where you go through some business advisory, maybe you talk about some growth strategies with them. You go through some really valuable stuff in your meeting. You then go to Otter AI, you've got an immediate transcript and this outline and you can just input that into ChatGPT, use a great prompt and Turn it into a report which you can then send over with them, which is like a recap of the things that you came up with, a list of action items that they want to work, work on following the meeting. Okay. And that's going to really streamline that process so that you can basically do that by just grabbing the transcript, putting a prompt and adding the transcript to the prompt. And it will generate a report for you, that which you can then send over and you're delivering more value to your clients. So I'm mainly looking today at how to create content for your marketing. But you can see how you can also use that for delivering more content and value to your current clients as well. So that one's called Otter AI. I just wanted to show you that one. The next one I want to show you is one that's called descript.
So this is descript and what I can do with this one, this one's really, really useful for editing videos and creating short form videos from a long one in the click of a button. So it's really, really easy, really simple. Now what I've done here is again, I've uploaded the video that I did last time, the live stream that I did a few weeks ago, that's a 52 minute video. I've uploaded that here. And I want to show you just a couple of things that this can do just to show you that there are tools that will really reduce the effort that you have to expend to do these jobs. So if you think of repurposing your content, you know, start with that big long video, which for me was a 52 minute video a few weeks ago. I'm going to start with that. And I now want to take out of that video maybe a couple of five to 10 minute segments, which I can post as videos on my YouTube channel. I maybe also want to get 30 second videos or 60 second videos, which I can post as Reels on TikTok or Instagram or Facebook or YouTube shorts, you know, wherever else. I want to post that as a really short video, which is like a highlight from the video. So I can create those with the click of a button. And the really interesting thing about descript is that you can edit your video based on the transcript rather than based on a timeline. So at the bottom of my screen I have a regular editing timeline which I can use. And I can, I can chop that, I can split things, I can edit, I can remove areas. But what I find much easier is I can just go to the transcript and If I find something that I've done wrong, I've said wrong, I can just highlight the bit that I want to remove and I just backspace. So I just X that off and that will put that edit in there for me. So it will just jump through that cut now. So that makes life really easy. If you're not confident with editing a video and you want to do this quickly. Now, the thing that's really powerful with this tool is that you can immediately remove filler words with the click of a button. So I think I've actually already done it on this particular project. So let me see if I can do it on.
On this other one.
So let me go to my project.
I think I'm on the wrong one. Hang on. Bear with me. This one, I just want to show you that it can. It can remove all of the filler words really, really quickly just from a click of a button. So this one I don't think has the transcript ready yet. So.
Let me go back to this one. I'll just show you on here. So I think I've already removed the filler words from this one. So annoyingly, I can't show you that. But with this button here on the right says underload. I've got a lot of AI features that I can do here. So I can hit this button here which says remove filler words. It's going to scan my text and there will be areas in my text where I've said, oh, are. I've. I've paused, I've stumbled over a word. I've said a word twice. There's going to be moments where they're filler words in there. It's going to find all of those words and then I can go through and view each one and click Remove for each one. Or I can just hit remove all and take out all the ums and odds. So if you are taking that video and maybe turning it into a podcast, for example, or a. You just want to neaten up that video and get rid of. Neaten it up, take out all of the mistakes. You could just hit that button and it will do it for you instantly, which is really, really powerful. You can also do things like remove retakes. If you've done something twice, you can just remove that. You can just highlight a whole section and remove it. If you've done something wrong and you've clapped your hands and you've done it again, you can just remove things really easily. You can shorten word gaps if you like. Lots of powerful Stuff that we can do. Another thing that's really, really useful is I can add captions so we know that content works better. Video content is. Is more engaging when it has words and captions added to it. Clear captions. And that's because if you can imagine if you're sat in a doctor's waiting room or something and you're scrolling through your social media and you don't want the sound on. If I come across a video and somebody's talking but there's no captions, I'm just going to skip straight past that because I can't hear it. But if it's got captions on, I can still watch it even if I'm sat in a quiet room and I don't want to put my sound on. So captions is really powerful. It does add to a lot of engagement. So on here, I can just go to the captions button. I can just pick the one that I like the best. So there's lots of options. There's ones that read, you know, click through the word as it's being spoken. And because it has the transcript and the timings of the words said, it can just generate this for you really easily. So if I just click that button, you can see that it's put it now into my. My video. And when I play that video, it will go through the captions and it will just add it to the entire video. So that's click of a button immediately adds really nice captions that are easy to see.
We can also input B roll footage and edit things really easily in here. So I think the example that I've got in here, there's. There's one point where I talk about getting sucked into the wormhole, a black hole of social media. So for that I wanted to just add a wormhole kind of piece of footage that comes up. So B roll is when I'm talking to the camera and I keep talking in the background, but something else comes on the screen and maybe you see somebody typing away on the desk or something. And it can just add that little bit of professionalism to a video. So I'm gonna play this and see if that. See if that works, if that shows it to you. And you'll get sucked into a wormhole, a black hole of going and looking at videos and stuff. And it can be. There you go. So hopefully you can see that I've got two layers of captions on there now, so I need to remove one. But.
It keeps my voice going in the background and it just Layers on top that extra video so that it looks really professional and that was just a really quick one that I did. And you just highlight the area you want it to fit. So you highlight the words that you want it to go on and then you click add layer and then we'll go to, you know, you can add other things, you can add other recordings, text shapes, but I'm going to go to videos and then there's a whole bunch of stock video here that you can just search for what you're looking for. So if I maybe wanted somebody typing, I can just search for that and it will find me a selection of videos which I can just import that stock footage. Now I will say that personal footage that you have of you and your business, much more powerful, much more appropriate for getting your personality and stuff across. But if you want to get a head start on, on editing videos and you don't have a lot of B roll footage footage, this is a great way of adding that we can also do a lot of good things with. It has a lot of AI features built into it. So if I go down the right hand side here, if I'm using this video and I'm putting it on YouTube, I can create a YouTube description. I just click on this YouTube description button. I can give it a guide, I can give it examples and instructions, but they're optional, I don't have to to. So I can just click submit and it's created a YouTube description for me. It's not done that very well. So let me just click that again and see if it'll do it better. What I've done, what I've seen it do before is it will put all of the chapters in there as well, which is really helpful for a YouTube description because people can click and jump through to the right point of the the video where they're watching. So I can also get it to come up with a title for me me. It's suggested there five different titles I might use.
I can get it to draft a social post so it has the entire transcript for my video. I can just get it to write three different posts. Again I don't have to give it any instructions, I can just see what it comes up with. And we've got a series of social posts there that it's made for me. Now this is a really useful feature that it has, but we can do a lot better on chat GPT which is what we're going to look at in just a second as well.
And then I've also Got this button here. I can draft a blog post from here. So this is a 52 minute video. It's going to turn that into a really nice, pretty lengthy blog there for me as well. Really interesting that it can do that with the click of a button. So you might then take that blog and edit it and add your own writing style and do whatever else is that you need to do to it. But it has it there as a click of a button. So you can really create content really, really quickly with this tool. You can also. So the key thing I wanted to show you with this, you can create smaller videos and clips from the large video that you have inputted. So there's a button here that says repurpose, which is exactly what we're doing. So we want to create clips. We can decide how many clips we want. We can, we can input how long we want it to be. I think the maximum, I think is 300 seconds. If I put in like 600. Yeah. So 300 seconds is the largest clip that I can put in there. And I, I just say I want five clips and I hit the submit button and it will just find key areas of the video, like it'll pick out the highlight points and it will put that into a clip for me and make it 300. It will make five 300 second videos for me which I can then use on my social media channels. I can post it to YouTube as its own separate video. I can use it and I'm making this video once, but I can post that on so many different platforms. I can post it on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Reels, YouTube shorts. You know, I can post that pretty much everywhere. So that's really, really powerful. I can also do this highlight reel which is, is also really interesting. Again we've got one here that says five minutes. I'm just going to make a one minute one and see what that comes up with. So you might have to kind of sit and wait for a little bit whilst it, whilst it works that out. But what it's doing is it's scanning through the transcript, finding points that are seem poignant and that stand out and then it's using that, using those words and putting this into a video for me as well. So you can create stuff really quickly with a tool like this. You can also make podcasts, you know, you can just go through, edit the transcript and download the audio. You can make your podcast from here. So I just thought I would point that tool out to you because it's a really powerful tool. And it's going to really streamline that process of making a lot of extra content with very little effort. So this is obviously something you can do yourself. You could pass it to another team member and say, I filmed this video. Can you now go and edit it and give me a bunch of videos, a bunch of blogs, a bunch of social posts from this? Okay. So it's a really great way of just maximizing the content that you're creating from using a tool like this that is available to you. And there are other tools out there. If you want to go and check out other tools and find something that suits you and suits the way you work, then by all means do that. This is just one I thought I would point out. So we've looked at Otter I, we've looked at descript. Now I want to jump into Chat GBT and show you how we can take a large piece of content and break it down and repurpose it and, and create lots of different things from that. So the first thing that I want to do is I'll show you with that first tool, Otter AI, we made a transcript. So I uploaded a 50 minute video. I got a transcript from that. I downloaded that transcript. I now have it as a file. So what I'm doing now is I'm going into Chat GBT and I'm giving it a prompt. Now this is a prompt that I just had pre prepared because in the academy we have a prompt library with a series of prompts that are template prompts that you can just use repeatedly for different repetitive processes in your business. So when you have the prompt ready to go, this process is so quick because I go to Auto AI, I grab the transcript, I paste in my prompt, I paste in my transcript and off it goes. And it does, does this job for me. So in this example, I've uploaded my transcript and I've pasted in here a prompt that what this prompt is going to do, I'm not going to go through it in detail, but it does have those elements of the Persona, the task, the audience, the, the steps I want it to take. Your task is to create a structured ebook outline using the provided transcript. This out outline will serve as a blueprint for the ebook, capturing key ideas and organizing them into engaging sections to guide readers towards booking an appointment. So what I'm doing now is I'm taking that webinar that I did that live stream and I'm turning it into a lead magnet that I can use in my business. So you can then have two Lead magnets. Because people consume things in different ways. Some people prefer to read, some people prefer to watch a video. Now I did mention earlier about all of the benefits of video, but if you can make things in different formats, if you can make that video into a podcast, into a blog, into a workbook, into an ebook as well, people consume things in different ways. And some people would rather consume an ebook than they would a 30 minute video. So having those multiple options just increases that chance of engagement with that content. So you can put your video behind an opt in wall so they have to put their name and email address in to watch that video. You can also have this as a downloadable extra or you know, just adding value. But what we've done is we've got the transcript, we've put the prompt in and it's come up with this. So I've asked it to create an outline for my ebook. Now I always ask for, for an outline first rather than just say can you make a blog post from this? Because we find that asking it to do things in a step by step way, by getting the outline first, we can then take the outline and create the blog. And it does it in just a, a better way. It, it takes more time to kind of think it through and it will make something a lot more, just a lot better quality by doing the outline first. So I've grabbed the transcript, I've put the prompt in and it's come up with an introduction here. So we've got introduction and we're talking about. This is from a session I did last week on social media strategy. So the purpose is to introduce the concept of using AI to streamline social media content, saving time while enhancing brand presence and engagement benefits for the reader. So this is for an ebook. What are your benefits? Readers will learn how to create a sustainable social media strategy, automate repetitive tasks and maintain a consistent online presence. Author's authority. So emphasize expertise in social media strategy and AI, sharing insights from, working with various tools and platforms to optimize content creation. So that's going to be my introduction. I then have a series of chapters. So it's done for me. Five chapters. Chapter one, Building the foundation of your social media strategy. I have three, three bullet points of what to include in that chapter. Chapter two, designing an ideal client profile using AI. Chapter three, crafting a consistent content plan with AI. Chapter four is leveraging engagement and growth tactics on social media. Chapter five is building a year long social media calendar. So it's created that outline for me with three bullet points for each chapter, I then have a conclusion here at the end where it's recapping the points, reinstating the value of consistency when it comes to social media, and then also a call to action. So remember I said earlier, all of our content needs to have a purpose of driving them to the next point. So a call to action means what are you asking them to do? What are you calling them to take action on? Okay, so in the end of my ebook I'm going to ask them to book a free consultation with me or book an appointment, whatever that needs to be for you. Whether you have a paid consultation, you know, whatever works for you.
That'S what you're going to ask them to do at the end of your ebook. So you can see how this starts to form a journey. Because what we're going to do is create social media posts, blogs and other stuff that points them towards the ebook. Once they have consumed the ebook, we're then pointing them towards booking an appointment. Once they have booked the appointment, you're then going to go through your brochures and your packages and whatever and, and onboard them. So it's, it's leading them through this process, through this journey where you always have a next step that you would like them to take.
And they might not take it immediately from consuming the ebook. And that's why we have lots of other forms of content that follow up, like emails. Okay, so what I'm doing now is now that I have that outline, I'm going to use that outline to create an ebook. And I wanted to show you this new feature on chat GPT called Canvas. So this is a paid feature and it's new, it's in beta mode, so you might not have it yet but, but I would suggest you check out your, your ChatGPT account if you have an account. And where you see up at the top where, where you can choose your models, there's a drop down of the different models you can choose from. I've already got this conversation set up, but if I had a new conversation I could choose Canvas. Just go and see if you have that available because if you do have it available it's really helpful especially when you are creating long form content. Now I am quite a big fan of Claude as well. I use anthropic Claude and they did this first. So the reason I used anthropic Claude was because they have something called Artifacts which I'll show you on the left hand side of the screen I have my conversation with AI. The prompt I put in what changes I want it to make. On the right hand side, I have my document laid out in whatever I'm building. So I'm building currently an ebook. Maybe you're writing all of the content for your website. Maybe you're writing the content for a brochure or a proposal. I have my document laid out on the right and then I can confer with ChatGPT on the left with, on this example, this is Claude. So Claude have this, I think they call it Artifacts. And I have used this for a long time. And ChatGPT have released their own version of this, which is called Canvas. It's got a couple of extra features which kind of maybe just pushes it above, above Claude. Although Claude does have a special place in my heart. I do like Claude. So what it does is again, we've got the conversation with ChatGPT on the left and we've got the document that we are building on the right. So this is just a really nice practical way of laying this out. And I've asked it to make that outline of the ebook into an actual ebook. So all I, I gave it a really basic prompt. I think it just said, now write this into an ebook using the above outline. It should be around 1,000 words. And it's made this for me on the right hand side. So I now have my ebook with the introduction. It's written that out for me. It has chapter one, chapter two, three, four, five. I've got a conclusion at the end and then I have the call to action, action as well. Now what I can do with this is I can edit that almost as if it was a document. So if I just click onto the area on the right and I, I just highlight this title, for example, I can change that heading so I can make it bigger. And if I don't like this, this first sentence, for example, I can just highlight that and get rid of it. And I can just go back. If I, if I did want that back, I can highlight a specific area of Chatbot that I'm, that I'm looking at. I can, I can highlight that first paragraph and then where it says Ask ChatGPT, I can just ask it to make changes or give me information about that particular area that I've highlighted. So if I wanted to work through this on a paragraph by paragraph basis, I can just highlight that section and say, and then in the text box there, I can just say, I don't really like this paragraph. Can you change it or give it more something more specific? Can you split this can you make it shorter sentences with more, with more breaks? Can you use different wording? Whether that's a professional tone, make it more friendly, make it more jokey, fill it with punishment ones, you know, whatever. You can give it that information about what you want it to do just for that paragraph so that you're not waiting around for it to improve the entire thing all the time. Even though when I say waiting around, even if you did get it to do the whole thing, you're probably only waiting like 20 seconds at most. But we can just edit things on a, like by each bit. We can also see the version history of that so we can see, see what changes we've made to the document. If I go down to the bottom right and I just hover over this pencil icon, there are a series of things that we can do really quickly to edit this document. So up at the top I can add emojis, which probably not very useful for the ebook that I'm making. But if I'm doing social media content that might be helpful. I can just click the button and have it add emojis throughout my social media, social media content. If that's something that is valuable to me. If I know that emojis work for my audience, I can add final polish. So it just takes what it's made and just, you know, gives it a little final polish and just, you know, improves it. At the end. I can change the reading level. So this one is a toggle button. So if I click on that, I can just drag this icon up or down and I can make the reading level more complex. So I've got graduate school, college, high school. I've got whatever the current reading level is, middle school, kindergarten. So it takes me through those different levels. And generally speaking, we want to be reducing the reading level so that it's really easy to consume. I would, for content marketing purposes, I would not really be using the option to make it more complex language because when it's more complex language, it's harder for people to, to read it physically, it's harder to consume. And also if people are, you know, not very confident with financial stuff and you're using heavy jargon, then it can be quite isolating and ostracizing. You don't want to to put that barrier up. So you, generally speaking, you want to make it a lower reading level. I wouldn't say put it kindergarten level because then it can too childish. So maybe leave it where it's at or just play around with that, move it down and see how it works. So if I just move that to middle school and I click that to go, what it does is it's just going to work its way through that entire document that it's made and it's going to change slightly the way that that's written and it just gradually makes its way through and improves all of that. So I'm just gonna. I'll just wait a second whilst it does that. You can see how quick it is though. I mean this is a long document and it's gonna do it in maybe 30 seconds. So it's changing the entire writing of that and it's done it in 30 seconds. There we go. So that I can do that. I can change the reading level. I can also change the length. So if it's too sure, if maybe I've put the outline and, and I did give it the, the prompt that said can you write something that's 1,000 words?
So I gave it that prompt. But I can adjust that. I can just scroll up or scroll down and I can make it longer, make it shorter and play around with that until I'm happy with it. And then also at the end there is a button that says suggest edits. So if I click that button, that is going to give me five suggested changes that I might make to the document. And you can see that it's. It's kind of like a comment button on the right. So I click the comment button. It says consider rephrasing this sentence. So if I like the rephrase that it's suggested, I can just click apply and it's going to change that sentence for me. So there you go, it's changed that sentence so you can make quick edits. You can do that sort of stuff. If I wanted to just go onto the left if I have a pre saved writing style, but I know works in my business, I have it listed out of. You know how I like the sentence structure. I like these many breaks. I like this kind of punctuation, I like this kind of tonality and formalities and format and structure. And you have a good writing style that you have pre saved. You can input that here as well and say now that you have a blog, make it into this writing style. And then that kind of personalizes it to you and your business as well. So it's not just the standard stuff that comes out. You're improving that prompt by giving it more context.
So that was taking the transcript and turning that into an ebook. Now what we can do is download that ebook that we have created and do the same thing again, un upload the ebook to now create something new from that. So the content that we make, remember what we're doing is we're taking a large piece of something, the ebook or the large video making other kinds of content as well, that push back towards that. So I'm pushing, I want people to view my blog and then click a link to go and view my ebook because that's where I can capture their contact details. So the content that I make wants to be related to the ebook that I've just made because I wanted to maybe do a brief overview of one of the points. But it kind of says here's the first point. But I go into five more points in my ebook here you can click here and go and get that. So it's a way of piquing their interest, still solving a problem and still being valuable in itself, but also being relevant to the ebook so that you can push them them towards that as well and drive them to that next place. So what I'm doing is I've downloaded that ebook. I've now put another prompt in here, which the task is to analyze the ebook and generate a diverse list of content types that can be used to promote it effectively across content marketing. And then I've given it more information. Your list should include 10 unique content ideas for each of the specified formats. And I've given it a bunch of of formats in that prompt as well. And then I've also added the ebook as a document to this prompt. So if I go down now, it's come up with for me a series of different content ideas for different types of content here as well. So I've got video content ideas and it's given me 10 different video content ideas that I might make kind of off of the back of this ebook. Now again, if you started with a long video, then you might use the sections of that video as the chapters and, and do it that way. But it's created video content ideas that I might create and then use to divert back to the ebook. Podcast episode ideas. I've got 10 of those. I've got 10 sound bite ideas. So this is just short sentence, maybe use that as a twist. Tweets, maybe you record you saying that and put that over the top of some sort of video or something, however that you want to make that work. We've got blog post ideas, we've got social media post ideas. So we've got tips on simplifying social media, social media testimonials from Users, content, batching, promotion, smart goals in a mini guide. So set social media goals. It's taking, it's giving ideas of what I can do for that. It's also giving me ideas of how to do engagement content. So I kind of view this as if anyone's big on Instagram, people do engagement things in their stories or maybe on a Facebook group you do a poll which gets people to interact with it. So this has suggested that I do a poll on people's favorite social media and this, all that. So that's kind of again, but it's a vote. You know which one's going to be the winner. A quiz, maybe. I do ask me anything, which is where you just put a, a post or a box or something that says you can ask me any question. Now I'm going to answer questions in the next hour on social media. So lots of ideas of ways to do engaging content there as well. We've also got ideas for infographics, we've got ideas for email campaigns that I can use to promote this ebook. We've got carousel post ideas, which is if you've been on Instagram or I don't know if Facebook does it as well, but definitely Instagram, definitely TikTok. And you see an image and you scroll to the right and there's maybe 10 images. That's a carousel. So you can do, you can create things for that. And you will know by the way, this is just, I'm showing you all of the kind of content ideas that it could create for you. You will know what works in your business based on what you've tried and tested. If you have tried carousels and they've not worked for you, then don't add that to the prompt. Take that out of the prompt and, and just get it to focus on the things that are going to be appropriate for you and your business. Okay, so we've got loads of different content ideas here. And what we can do is take these content ideas and now go, go and get it to make those things. So let's go with a blog post. So this first blog post here, it says, simplify your social media strategy using AI, A complete guide. So it's given me the title. I'm now going to go and make a new conversation here. I'm again going to use Canvas here. I'm going to input a prompt and this is the prompt that we just have it in the academy as just a template prompt. And this prompt works in the way that it expresses, explains the task it wants it to do. And then it has variables at the end where you input the information. So there's a. There's an example blog in here as well, which is why it's so long.
And then at the end here we have the variable we want to input. So I would just input the topic, which is that title that has been suggested in that other conversation. So I've inputted the title for the blog. It also this particular prompt will wants to reference a call to action. So where do you want to send them to? So I've just inputted our website here and this is something that I can do on repeat by just changing that variable to one of the other blog posts that it recommended me. So I can do this 10 times with those 10 different blog posts. So this is making a blog outline for me. And again, I've used canvas here so that I can click into here and you can see that it's making it for me on the right. It made me the outline. I then just gave another prompt that said, okay, now write this into a blog post for me. That's 500 words. And we have the blog post here created on the right. Again, same that we did with the ebook. You can use those features to make it longer, make it shorter, change the reading level, add your writing style. You can do all of those sorts of things to it.
So that's the blog outline. Now that I have the blog, I can copy that or make that into a document and I can then go and create the social media from that. So again, I have a copy and paste prompt that I use where it get it runs through the task of what I want it to do. And then at the end I have a variable which is just input the blog content. So this prompt is I'm asking it to create a series of social media posts and the variable is the blog content. So here I've just pasted at the end of it the entire content of the blog that we've just created and asked it to come up with some social media posts for that. So again, I'm hearing canvas, and if I open that up, we can see that it's made several Facebook and LinkedIn promotional posts. So I asked it, in my particular prompt that I did, I wanted two different types of post. I wanted a post that just exists in its own right and is valuable in its own right as a social media post. And then I wanted a post that directly pushes them to the blog. So that one would be, as this example says, are you feeling overwhelmed by social media AI can simplify your strategies, save time and boost engagement. Learn how to streamline content creation, scheduling and analysis in our latest guide. Click here to discover how AI can make your life easier. So that is a social post that we will put on Facebook or LinkedIn, but it leads back to the blog. The blog leads back to the ebook, the ebook leads to booking an appointment. So all of these forms of content are always guiding back to that lead magnet where we can capture the contact details and grow a relationship. We've also got posts for Twitter, or X as it's now called. I don't know what I did there. I just moved something around.
But yeah, so. So it understands and it can do things in different formats. So you can see that it's a slightly smaller post because it's now appropriate for Twitter as well. So that's what we can do. And you. And that's super quick. I've used Canvas for those Demons demonstrations. You don't have to use Canvas. I can grab that same prompt. So let me just grab this, this prompt from here, which is the one where I'm turning the blog into a social media post. And I can do that in the regular version, which is just this 4GPT4O. Just in the regular one, I can paste that in there and it's going to do the same thing for me. It's going to create me those social posts. So I. You don't have to use Canvas. Canvas, I do believe, is coming to the free version of ChatGPT eventually. It's still in beta mode at the minute for the paid version, but you can see how it still works really, really well just by doing it in this way. I just think it's nice when you're making a long document like an ebook or a long blog, to have the. The visual of the blog on one side and your editing. Editing on the other side.
But yeah, there you have it. So you can see that it works in exactly the same way, in this way.
So there we go. So that's kind of all of the content for today. We can see how you start with a large piece of content. And you know, we started with a video for this particular one and we grabbed the transcript, we turned that into an ebook, and then into a blog and then to a social media post and all of those sorts of things. If you wanted to start with the ebook, if you didn't want to do the video, you can do that. You can use different prompts to create that ebook first and then go through the processes of the other Things we can turn the ebook into blogs, into social posts. We can get it to create a video script from the ebook so that we can make a video after having done the ebook. If that's the, the way that you prefer to work, you've just got to find a system that works for you. Get the prompts and use the, use the prompts. Because once you've got the prompts right, it's basically just a copy paste job. You copy and paste the prompt in, you add in the transcript of whatever it is you're, you're doing, you add in the ebook, you add in the, the context of what you want it to do. Maybe you're just adding in your ideal client profile. Okay. And then you just make sure that the prompt works for you and does the job. So hopefully that's given you some motivation to go and create a bunch of content in your business. Let me just have a quick look. So I think a couple of people asked.
Some questions about the, the tools that I was talking about. So the two tools I mentioned were Otter, AI and descript. So D, E, S, C, R, I, P, T description and then obviously Chat GBT there at the end as well. Somebody asked, can I use these tools for French content? I don't know about a Otter AI and descript. I check it out, see if they have a French version available. If not, if you can do it on there in English, you can then take it to ChatGPT and translate it. So ChatGPT has a really good translation tool in it. In the past, Google Translate and stuff like that have been maybe not quite getting the context of the translation, but we've found that with ChatGPT it gets the nuances of the, the context and of, of the, the different phrases transferring across, if that makes sense. So I'd give it a go and see if you can Translate something in ChatGPT and that might be, that might work really well for, for you. Okay.
I think that's all of the questions. So thanks everybody for coming today. We will be back in a couple of weeks, I'm sure with another session. I don't know what my next session is, but I hope to see you all on that one soon. And thanks everybody for coming. I hope it's been good for you. Cheers guys.
