From Prospect to Proposal: Building an Automated Lead Nurturing System

A walkthrough of building an automated system that turns cold prospects into signed proposals using a lead magnet, landing page, email sequences, and sales calls. The presenter uses ChatGPT to generate a lead magnet, ebook outline, landing-page copy, confirmation and follow-up emails, and a multi-step nurture sequence, with a concrete example of a digital nomads tax guide.

So the content for today, what we're looking at is how to take.
How to go through the entire process, your marketing annual sales process, primarily here to get from a prospect to a proposal. So how do we get people who have never heard of our business before all the way through to the point of signing up and buying from us? So I'm going to break that down. I'm going to show all of the stages and I'm going to show you an all automated system that you can put in place to bring those people into your biz, into your business and convert them into clients. And I'm going to show you how you can use AI along every step of that process to make sure that everything is optimized. It's quick and it's easy to do. So a lot of the time we talk a lot about this system that I'm going to talk about, which is called the lead generation system. We talk a lot about this system. But some of the issues in getting that system in place is that first of all, you feel like you don't have enough time to get that set up. Second of all, maybe you don't understand the technology of how to set those things up. And then thirdly, you don't know how to write all of the content that is necessary for the entire system. So using AI, you can tackle all of those problems. It's going to make it a quick process for you, it's going to give you a, going to optimize all of the wording and it's going to, at the very least, give you a good starting point and give you this system so that you've got it, it's working, it's happening in your business, and you can then take it from there to optimize, which is a lot easier to do than getting it off the ground. Right? So once you've got it there, you can then tweak it and improve it. But what we're going to look at is how to optimize and how to automate every step of that process.
So first of all.
You want to start off, and I'm talking here, you want to start off in what you create, because the prospect's experience is actually going to start with your social media, your traffic that you're going to push towards this. But the first thing that you create is going to be your lead magnet. So your lead magnet is a piece of content that is super valuable, but you give it away for free in exchange for their name and email address. So this piece of content, it could be an ebook, which is what we're going to look at today. It could be a webinar, it could be a podcast episode, it could be a resource or a checklist, something that's super useful for your clients or your potential clients. Something that's valuable, that solves an immediate problem that they have or gives them some sort of quick win or a bit of a boost or answers a burning question that they have. So it's going to have that purpose, it's got to have that value in that it delivers something to them, a solution, a quick fix. It helps them overcome a challenge that they've got. But it wants to be a content that you can create once and it stays relevant. So it's evergreen, so you don't have to keep repeating or renewing that content. I mean, you might renew it after a couple of years if it becomes outdated. But you want something that is pretty much evergreen, that you can create it once and then you can just give it away for continuous amounts of time. So you want to create that piece of content and then what we're going to do is give that away for free in exchange for their name and email address. So the point of this system is to gain access to people so that we can take them through a bit of a journey. We need to take them through a journey to get them from the point of being a prospect into signing the proposal. Now, some people are going to need a shorter journey than others. Some people are going to download your lead magnet and think, great, that's awesome. I'm going to book an appointment straight away. Some people are going to need a little bit more warming up. So we're going to look at the different lengths of the system and, and how that's going to work. But what the lead magnet allows us to do is capture their contact details so that we can continue that journey. If they saw you on a social media post or they visited your website, they might land on your website, have a look around and then leave after a few minutes. And then you've. You'll never see them again. You've no way of contacting that person to follow up on that. So the lead magnet allows us to capture that contact information so that we can continue to build a relationship and push them along that journey where they become a prospect into a proposal all. So that's the lead magnet. The lead magnet is also. It's really important with this entire system and everything to do with marketing. The first thing I always say is make sure you understand who your ideal client is and have an ideal client profile, have it written out and have it really crystal clear. Because when you understand the tr. The kind of person you're trying to attract.
That'S going to have an impact on, on the piece of content that you create to attract them. So this is why we use the word magnet. We are attracting the right kind of person for our business. So if you don't really know who you want to work with and you've got this sort of vague sense of, you know what, I'm just, let's just bring in anybody and everybody to our business that's actually really less effective and less efficient than in having a niche. Because what you're doing is you're just kind of making contact that's really vague and doesn't actually speak to anyone's genuine pain or genuine problems or circumstances. When you really understand who your ideal client is, you can create the piece of content to attract them. That's going to make them feel seen and heard. You can directly address the pain that they're going through, the challenges they have, the, the circumstances of their particular industry or business or whatever it is that you choose to work with. You can really get rel. Relatable with the content. So when that content is relatable, that person feels seen and understood. They understand you to be an authority in that area and therefore the most appropriate person to work with because they want to work with somebody that has that level of understanding of their particular scenario and their business in their industry. So the lead magnet is super, super powerful and this is something that you ideally do want to be spending a bit of time getting it right. But we can use AI to make this a very quick process. We can make this lead magnet quite quickly. This is something that a lot of people say, well, I don't have the time to sit down and write a full, you know, book length novel of, of or whatever. I don't have the time to film a full webinar. What we can do is we can use AI to help all sorts of areas of that. We can get ideas for the content. You know, what kind of content would work. We can do research about around our ideal client. We can get it to write it. If we're doing a webinar instead of an ebook, we can get it to write us some bullet points or script for the video. We can help with all elements of that using AI. So I'm going to show you that in just a second. But let's go through the rest of the system first. So lead Magnet is the starting point. First thing you're going to make next, what we want to build is, is our opt in page. So as we said, this is a piece of content that you give away in exchange for somebody's name and email address. So you need a page where they can do that. So this is where you are going to drive people towards with your social media. And if you're doing paid ads or if you're doing anything else like that, this is where you're going to push people towards. You're going to push them towards this page. On this page it's going to be a reminder because they will have already seen in your content.
About the, the benefits of this, this ebook or guide or whatever it is you're creating. So on this page it's going to be quick, a couple of bullet points of the benefits of downloading or signing up for this resource. And it's going to have a box which says input your name and email here. They're going to put their name and email in and that's going to take them over to the next section which is the thank you page. So the opt in page. The purpose of the opt in page is just to capture those contact details. It's really important that we can maintain that connection with that potential prospect. So capturing the email and the name and email is the most important part of your opt in page. We don't want any other distractions on that page. We don't want to tell them about our website or about our social media. We don't want to do that because the only function of the opt in page is to capture those contact details. Now when they have signed up, when they have put their name and email in and you have got that information now we can invite them to take further action or to, to follow us in other areas. So the thank you page is going to thank them of course for downloading that resource or congratulate them and say that's been successful, confirm that it's worked. It's then going to potentially give them the resource. You can do that on the thank you page, you can do that in an email instead. But you're going to give them the resource and then you're also then going to encourage them to take further action in other areas. So potentially you say check out our website for more information or why not follow us on social media or if you have a community, join our community and start learning more about whatever the subject is that you're talking about. It may be that at this point you Also put on your thank you page a link for them to book an appointment with you, which is eventually where we want to get them to. Right? And as I said earlier, different people will subscribe and will move through the prospect of proposal journey at different rates. So some people may have seen the lead magnet that you did, whether that's an ebook, whether that's a webinar, a video, anything like that, they may have seen that, seen a little bit of the kind of stuff that you're talking about and thought, wow, this person's amazing. I need to work with this person. So when they land on this thank you page, they might immediately go to book that appointment or they might go and read their lead magnet, which takes them maybe 20 minutes or something, and then they come back and they think, that's brilliant, I need to book in with that person. So some people will be very quick to make that decision now. Other people, they're going to need a little bit more time to warm up to them. So that's why we've captured the name and email. So the next stage is to send a confirmation email. First of all, this is going to be your. Similar to the, the content of the thank you page, we're going to say, you know, thank you for getting this. It's, it's really great that you've got this because you're going to learn xyz. Um, if you want to learn any more information, then these are the other resources that we have available, the website, whatever, and you can also put within that to book an appointment if you wanted to as well, and also deliver the resource that you have promised as well in that email. So that's going to be the content of that very first email. So what's really powerful, which I'm not going to go massively into, but what's really powerful is at this stage to then start to segment your audience based on what they have downloaded. So if you don't have a system at all, don't worry about segmenting at this point, but building a list. So building a list, a database of names and emails, is one of the most important things that you need to be doing as part of your marketing strategy. The bigger your list, the bigger your income as a direct proportion. So when you have an opportunity to promote your services, you now have a portion of people that you can reach out to. So we can set segment that list further by tagging them with the relevant information. So let's say your lead magnet was, I think, the example I'm going to use is you work with digital nomads and you work to help them with their tax planning situation or saving tax. So you've given them the ultimate guide to tax for digital nomads. That's the resource that you've given them. They've got the confirmation email that's come through. Now when you, when they get added into your list, if, for example, you have a couple of different lead magnets where one of them is around business advisory for digital nomads, one of them is tax, you can put a little tag on them and say, I want to tag this person. So that when you then follow up with further information, you know what things they're interested in. Okay, we know that they've downloaded our guide to tax for digital nomads, which kind of implies that they are a digital nomad and they are interested in saving tax. So we can tailor the information that we then send to them.
Because we know that that's what they are interested in. So that's what this process is doing. It's, it's pre qualifying those people as people who are interested in the potential service that you could offer for them. And of course as well, with the lead magnet, you're gonna want to make something that's gonna tie into the service that you're trying to promote. So if the service that you're promoting is tax planning, then that's what the lead magnet is going to be around. If it's bookkeeping, then that's what the lead magnet's going to be will tie nicely in to the service that you then promote. Okay, so the confirmation email is the first one that goes out. We can then follow up with more emails. So you can have a generic standard, what's called a welcome campaign, which anybody, anywhere that joins your system joins your mailing list. You send them a series of emails that welcome them to the business. Welcome. This is what we're about. This is our team, these are our services. Those are the kind of emails you would send for that. Now you can also have what's called a specific campaign, which means you're going to be sending specific information that relates to the tag that you've just given them. So you know, they're now interested in tax planning for digital nomads. So you're going to be sending them more content around tax planning ideas and that kind of advice and help. So you're going to create a series of emails that relates to, that gives them more information, gives them more value, more resources, further demonstrates your ability to help them in that area. And then also gives them the opportunity to book an appointment with you as well. So we're moving them along that prospect to proposal journey by encouraging them to book an appointment to discuss something further.
We then have the sales meeting. So you're going to give them in the emails a chance to book an appointment with you. Now the way you approach this, we teach lots of different things. In the academy, the value pricing academy, you might have a quick 15 minute call with somebody first. You might go straight into your kind of onboarding sales meeting where you start uncovering all of the, the background information about that person, giving, working out what their pain points are, accentuating that and then giving them a solution in the presentation of your packages and your services and go through that sort of sales meeting. It could be that level of in depth. It may be that you start out with a 15 minute email meeting that just verifies that you're a good fit and in which case you could create the content around that so that this all happens. And by the way, this all happens automatically. So they sign up for the, for the ebook, they get sent these emails automatically. You need to set them up in the first instance, but then after that it all happens on Automate Automation. So they get all of these emails, they click on one of the links to book an appointment that goes through automatically. They just pick a slot in your calendar that then sets up the zoom link or teams link, wherever it is that you like to do your, your meetings, if it's online.
It sets up that link and then sends them the reminder emails for that, sends them the link and a 24 hour reminder, a 15 minute reminder, whatever you need, and also sends a link to you to say, hey, you've just got appointment booked in. So from your perspective, the only part of this process that you are working on is the initial setup. But then once it's set up, your focus is just on delivering that sales meeting when it comes through. You may also want to put effort into the star of the process which is getting people to that lead magnet and that's going to be your social media, your Facebook ads and all of the, the various different ways of promotion. You want to deal with that. So that could be you directly doing that, or you could use AI to help you with that, or you could outsource that to a different company or you could delegate it to another member of your team to do that. So it's really lessening the amount of work that you're having to directly do. The first point of contact for you in this system is that initial meeting, whether that's a 15 minute one or you go straight in for the full hour, whatever you want to do it to get the information from people, that's what you do. So if like, if you have done the 15 minute one, you can then create more automations that sends them the links and stuff for the next part of the process, the hour long one where you get that extra information.
So as part of that from prospect to proposal, you also kind of want to have a look at pricing and that sort of side of things. Now I'm not going to go into massive detail because this is a massive topic, but you could be using tools like you could just have a spreadsheet in front of you that you go through the pricing with them. But if you're one of our academy members or you understand value pricing, you may be using our effective pricing tool, which what that does is it allows you to have on your screen the pricing process and they you can go through with your client to tick the things that they do and don't want and that's going to build a bespoke package for them or well, it's going to have some elements of bespokeness, but it's going to have the standard items and then their preferences are going to go into that as well and then it's going to deliver a price for them in a way that really communicates the value. So that's the kind of next part of the process and that's to do with your sales process, your pricing and you can then also generate a proposal using the effective pricing software as well if you wanted to use that. But there are of course other tools that can help you do that as well. So that's the system. So let's recap on that. We've got the lead magnet right up at the top. That's what we make first. And we would have before that you would create social media and various content to promote that lead magnet. You would push that out to people. So some, some places, for example we promote ours is we email our list. We have various different lead magnets. So obviously you would email them after you've got their email address. So that doesn't always relate. But we've got social Media, we do YouTube chat live streams like this and then we put the links into the description or we talk about it in live streams. If we do an event, we might tell somebody about it there lots of different ways you can do it. You could do paid ads as well if that's the way you want it to go. But we're pushing people towards the lead magnet because that is the start of our system. So they're going to download the lead magnet, they're going to. Well, they're going to land on the opt in page to get the lead magnet. They're then going to go into the thank you page, which might give them some more things to do. They're going to receive a confirmation email as well. At the same time, that confirmation email is going to deliver the resource to them. You're then going to follow up automatically with a series of emails that are relevant to the content that they have just downloaded and encourage them as part of that to book a meeting with you. They're then going to turn up to the meeting, you're going to deliver your sales process, you're going to go through the pricing and hopefully you're going to get the client, win the client onboard them and do a proposal and go from there. So that's the process.
And that seems a lot, that seems like a lot to set up, a lot to do if you don't have the time because you're working with so many clients already. So. But this is a really, really important system to have and it's automatic. Once it's fixed and it's set in the business, you don't need to think about it, you don't need to do anything with it again. So it's really, really powerful to have something like this in your business. So what we can actually do, I'm going to just bring up Chat gbt because this is the tool that we are going to use primarily to create all of the elements of this system. So.
The first thing I wanted to mention here is that I've made a project just to show you how I can build upon what I'm creating as I go through. So what I've done is I'm going to go through a series. I've got nine here, so hopefully we've got enough time to go through them all. I'm going to go through the, the different things that I've created each element of that system using Chat gbt. And then as I create each element, what I'm doing is I'm making the, the lead magnet or the wording for the website, whatever it is, and then adding it to my project files so that as I start the next conversation, ChatGPT has something to draw on from what I already talked about in a different conversation with them. So rather than having all of that information in one Long conversation, which as we know there is a context window for ChatGPT. So if you are having a really long conversation where you asking it to make a lead magnet and then asking it to make the opt in page and then asking it to do whatever else all in one conversation, it's going to start to forget the earlier stuff. So I like to do it in this way. I break down each kind of individual project that I'm working on and I do it as a different channel chat. But as I make those things, I then download that to a Word document and then upload it into the project files so that it has that to refer to. So as we go through these chats, hopefully that will make more sense to you. So we're going to start with the first one, which is the lead magnet.
So all of today's prompts as well, all of today's prompts and actually all of today's prompts took me about 20 minutes to do. So obviously when you do it, it's going to take a little bit longer because you're going to do it much more nuanced and much more information and context you're going to put in there and you can edit and tweak things. But if it took me 20 minutes to make these sorts of things, this amount of content I'm going to show you, you know, you're looking at maybe, maybe a couple of hours to build this entire system. So it's really, really not going to take you long. You set aside a Friday afternoon and you can get this built. So, and all of the prompts today, by the way, are really basic, really simple. This is, you can do this even if you don't understand prompt engineering, which it's very useful to know prompt engineering. And it's something we go into a lot of depth in, in the AI academy, and we give you a lot of information and sort of templates to follow. And we also have a prompt library which you can just copy and paste really well thought out prompts. The more nuanced and the more defined you can get with your prompts, the better the outcome is going to be. But I wanted to show you how even with very, very simplistic prompts and having a bit of information of what you're trying to achieve, you can get ChatGPT to do some pretty, pretty wonderful things from some really, really powerful things. This is using the latest model, which is the 4.5 version. So if you are on the free version, I believe you are still limited to the 4.0model. You might have.
A couple of queries that you can do, a couple of prompts you can do on the 4.5 version, but it might run out. So you might not be able to do this entire process or you might do this process over a series of days when those refill. But even doing it on 4.0 you would still get a really great result, I reckon. So definitely check it out. So let's get into these prompts then. The first one, super simple. Suggest ideas for a lead magnet to attract my ideal client. Now I will caveat. I have added to the project files my ideal client profile. So it already has that information about who I'm trying to attract. So I can then simplify all of my prompts because it already has that context behind the scenes. If I didn't have the ideal client uploaded, I would need to add to my prompt here, suggest a lead magnet to attract my ideal client. This is what my ideal client looks like. They are this age, this gender, they're in this industry, they're interested in these things, these pain points. This is what their goals are. These are the things that they search for. You know, all of that information I would need to add to my prompt. So the better thing to do, make your ideal client profile first, which you can use ChatGPT to help you do and then upload that to your project file so that it's going to refer to that before it starts doing any of its content creation for you. So I've already uploaded that in there and I'm now asking it to suggest ideas for my lead magnet that would attract that specific ideal client. So not just randomly magnet stuff specifically want to attract the client that I want to work with. So based on your ideal client profile, here are several highly targeted and attractive lead magnets ideas. Lead magnet ideas to draw in your ideal digital nomadic entrepreneurs. So the example that I've uploaded is Digital nomads.
So number one, a free guide, top 10 tax friendly countries for digital nomads in 2025. Number two is an interactive quiz, tax residency quiz, where should you pay taxes as a digital nomad? And it's giving me by the way, the benefit and the format here. So the first one, the benefit is the immediate relevance for nomads looking to optimize their location strategy. And the format would be a PDF checklist or mini guide. The second one would be an interactive web based quiz.
How a digital nomad reduce taxes by 50% legally. So if you have a case study like that that's powerful to share, then do that. You could do that in a video form or a PDF it suggests here. PDF or short video. You could do a webinar webinar or a video series. Avoiding the top five five Tax mistakes Every Digital Nomad makes. So this could be pre recorded webinar. You could even if you wanted to do it as a live, it wouldn't then be an evergreen thing that you could recreate as part of your system. But maybe the first time you do it, you do it as a live. You then take that live recording and turn into the lead magnet that you then continue to use. As long as you make sure that when you do it live, you're not talking to people in the comments section or mentioning dates or times or anything like that. Just keep it, just the content and that's a powerful thing to do. Checklist. So we've got ultimate Pre Travel Tax preparation checklist for Nomadic entrepreneurs. An ebook, the Digital Nomads Guide to Tax Saving and Compliance. We have a template pack so bookkeeping templates for digital nomadic Entrepreneurs. So this could be downloadable Excel or Google Sheet templates that helps them to simplify bookkeeping keeping while traveling. So that could be powerful. Case study compilation five Digital Nomads who mastered their international tax situation and how you can too. So if that's something that you have your own content to do, you've helped people, then that can be powerful. An email mini course 7 day crash course in Tax Efficiency for Remote Entrepreneurs. Or a tax calculator. So Digital Nomad Tax Savings Estimator that would be massively powerful if you had something like that, you know, tool or a piece of software that could do something like that. So there's some of the ideas. Now I'm gonna say to it, I actually like option six. So let me see what option six was. The Digital Nomads Guide to Tax Saving and Compliance. And it's an ebook format for this one. So it says I like option 6. Can you create the outline for that guide in canvas? Now the reason that I've said can you create the outline rather than can you just create the ebook? And is that similar to what I said earlier about how if you have one long conversation, it starts to forget the stuff at the start. If you ask it to create something that is a really large output, it's going to not be as efficient. So the best thing to do is to get it to create an outline first and then take each of those chapters that it's going to create, go and individually ask it to write those chapters so that it has more of an opportunity to flesh out each element of it. So first of all, and I've asked it to do this for me in canvas so that it opens it into this side by side profile where I've got my conversation on the left and the thing that it's writing on the right hand side. So it's made an outline for me with the title the digital nomad's guide to tax saving compliance. It's then suggested the introduction why managing tax as a effectively is critical for digital nomads. Common challenges faced by nomadic entrepreneurs. Overview of benefits of tax efficiency and compliance. It's then suggested a series of chapters for me. So chapter one, understanding tax residency. Chapter two, top tax friendly countries for digital nomads. Chapter three, navigating international tax treaties. Chapter four, structuring your business for maximum tax efficiency. Okay. And so on and so forth. So we've got nine chapters there and then a conclusion. And then it's also added an appendix in there as well. If you wanted to add useful resources and links or a glossary of key terms if you want to add that sort of stuff. What I would recommend that you do is at the end of your lead magnet, you have a page or a section that is about the next step that they can take with you. So that would be visit our website, look at our social media or book an appointment with us. It might even be you just put the book an appointment section. So you say all of this information is super great information and you would phrase this better. Get ChatGPT to help you. All this information is super great information. But if it's too much for you to manage all of that, you struggle to get all of that sorted. We're here to help you with that. You can book an appointment and we can work out your situation for you. So you can put a page at the end of the ebook to do that. Exactly. So now that we've got the outline, I can then ask it to flesh out each of those chapters individually. So the next one I've said now can you flesh that out and create each chapter as a new canvas file? The entire thing when combined should be around 3,000 words. So there's. And you can change that, you know, if you want it longer, shorter, there's however many chapters there and the introduction and conclusion, so maybe about 300 words per section. So it started a new canvas file. Which by the way, if you, if you didn't know this, if you're having a conversation with ChatGPT, you can get it to Create multiple different canvas files. And if I just press the X on the conversation that I'm having so that I go back to my chat rather than having that file open in the top corner.
I mean, I've got to slide over for some reason on mine. But in the top corner we've got this little document icon that says number two, we. Because I, I've got two files here and it shows me the different files that I've been working on here. So if I was to go through and make each of Those chapters, get ChatGPT to write me each of those chapters, I can have 10 or so different canvas files in here that have all of those different elements. I can then copy and paste what it's making into a Word document and build my ebook. You can then go and edit, edit it yourself and add the whatever flare you want to do. But that's how you would get it to write that for you. Now that's a very, very, very simplistic way of doing that. In the academy, we have, I think, a seven prompt. We have seven prompts in a row that you would use to get it to create your ebook for you. We also look at things like having a writing style guide so that you can upload that into your project files so that it understands how you like to write and how you like to speak in your content and how you want that to come through. So you could upload a writing style guide to your project files as well, so that it also has that understanding. So there's a lot more things we can do with this, but it is a great place to start that gets you, gets you off the mark and helps you build this system.
So that's the ebook. We've started with the first one. We've now got the, the ebook underway. What I would then do. And just for the purposes of this demonstration, I have grabbed the ebook outline that I got it to make and I've uploaded that into my project files. So if I just come back to my project, there's this button here that says project files I've uploaded or I already had my ideal client profile. I've now uploaded my ebook outline. So I just click add files. I go and find that file, which foot, by the way, what I would have done is just copied each of the chapters into a Word document, save that as a Word document and then upload that. So I've uploaded the outline. You could go and make your full ebook and then upload that. Because what that's going to help us with is now when we go to create the content for the sales for the pages around that, the website pages, it has the context of the ebook so it understands what it's promoting. Okay, so that's something that as you go through all of these different stages, create that thing and then add it to your project files so that as you go through you're giving it more and more and more context and the information that it, the outputs that it gives you are going to be more specific and more, you know, appropriate because it has that extra information. So that's lead magnets number two we have then. Now we're going to create the pages, the website pages where we want people, people to visit. So the first one is going to be the.
The opt in page. So what I've done here is attached is the outline of the lead magnet I'm creating for my ideal client profile. Can you create the wording for the opt in or landing page? What I've done in this one is I've actually copy and pasted the wording from the outline and I pasted it into this chat. You don't have to do that. If you've added it to your project files you can, you can add to the prompt. By the way.
Rather than saying attached is the outline, you could say in your project files is the outline. Look at this first and then do me this job. So you can, you can just directly say that you want it to look at the project files but generally speaking it should look at its project files before it starts any project. Any response to you when it's in a project?
So I've asked it to create the opt in page for me again it's opened this in canvas for me which is nice because I can see on the right hand side. So we've got this nice layout. We've got a title free ebook the Digital Nomads Nomads Guide to tax Savings and compliance. Simplify your taxes, minimize Maximize your freedom. We've got a headline and then a subhead. We've got a little bit of a paragraph about is this your pain point? Therefore we can, we can solve that. These are all of the benefits you're going to get from that resource and then download your guide. So I think that's a nice layout to the opt in. And I didn't give it any information, information on how I wanted that laying out. It just. It knows. ChatGPT knows because of the information that it has access to. Now, if you wanted it to lay it out in a specific way because you for some reason know this format works better, then you can give it that structure in the prompt. You can give it an example. Here's an example of an opt in page. Can you write it? One that would work for my lead magnet. Okay, so that's that one. So we now have the opt in page.
And what you can then do is just go and grab the.
Information from that and you can either pass that over to a designer if you want, or you can. There are lots of software available now that helps you build a landing page, or sometimes called a landing page, a lead page, an alternative in page, bounce page.
Squeeze page, sometimes they're called these. There are lots of tools available to help you build those. Really, really at a basic, easy level, it's quite literally drag and drop. So I'll drag and drop a text box. I'll put that in there, I'll put an image over there. They're very, very easy to use. So what you could do is use Chat GBT to research which tool is best for that. We use one called instapage. I know there's also one called lead pages. Click Funnels is a good one because it has a lot of these elements built in together where you can also then email people using the same software.
So actually that would be a good thing for you to research on ChatGPT is which tool is the best to do this holistically. In our business, we have lots of different tools to do that because we think when we use a holistic tool, it tends to be a little bit good at each of the elements, but not amazing. Whereas when you use a series of different tools that are optimized for each element. So we'll have one that's really good at building landing pages, one that's really good at doing Email marketing, you know, one that's specifically for booking appointments. All these different tools, we use them all separately but then integrate them all together so you can get ChatGPT to help give you advice quite on on those sorts of things as well. What tools would I need for this? What tools are the best? What are the cheapest? What are the the best performers? Whatever it is that's important to you. So now on a new Canvas file Creating the word Create the wording for the thank you page afterwards I've given it a little bit of information about what I want that to do. It should thank you point them towards their email inbox where they will receive the resource and also encourage them to follow on social media and to book an appointment to discuss their unique tech situation with our team. So if I go over to the thank you page that is created for me, I now also have that as well. Thank you for downloading the Digital Nomads Guide to Tax Savings and Compliance. Your guide is on its way. So you could then again take that to your lead page builder or give it to a designer and get them to create that page as well. Then connect the two pages so that when they opt into one they get sent to the thank you page. Okay, so what I then did is I took the wording from that and I added that to my project files as well just so that I'm continuously building my project and that it's got that more information to draw on. So next up we have the confirmation email.
So because it now has the information, it has my ideal client profile. It has the lead magnet, it has the information that is on the pages. It can now create the confirmation email with all of that context. So create a confirmation email to send to new subscribers. After downloading our lead magnet you will find information about the ideal client and the lead magnet in your project files. The email should confirm their signup is successful and deliver the results. It should also remind them of the benefits and encourage them to read it. This will be the beginning of a specific follow up campaign so it can also tease at what will be shared in the following emails as well as remind them of things like whitelisting their contact details. It should be around 500 words and the tone should be fun and friendly. So that's pulling in a couple of prompt engineering bits of information there. So I'm giving it extra context. I'm also giving it the length, I'm giving it the tone. If you have a writing style guide, if you have that information, you can input it as your project files.
So let's have a look at that. It's done it again for me in Canvas so I can open that and see it as a document. So the subject line is your guide to tax freedom is here. Dive in. Hi there nomad friend. Great news. Your download was successful and your copy of the Digital Nomads Guide to Tax Saving and Compliance is waiting for you right here. Click here to download. You're officially one step closer to stress Free Money Smart Nomad living. This handy guide will work walk you through exactly how to choose the absolute best tax friendly spots around the globe, effortlessly navigate residency rules, structure your business perfectly, simplify your bookkeeping. Okay, I'm paraphrasing here, but it's, it's giving me a really great email. Very similar to the content of the thank you page.
And just reminding it of the reasons why. Reminding the new subscriber the prospect of the reasons why they downloaded it and why they should now go and read it and make sure they actually, actually, you know, engage with that.
To make sure you don't miss any juicy insights and practical tips we have in store, please add our email to your contact list or whitelist us. Because nobody likes finding gold in their spam folder. So I gave it the tonality there of fun and friendly. So if for you that language is a little bit too relaxed and you would prefer something a bit more professional, then you just change that in the profile prompt. Okay? So as part of this email we also have if you have any immediate questions or want talent advice, we're just a click away. You can book your personal consultation here. So it's giving them the ebook, reminding them of why they want to read that, and then also giving them potential next steps whether you could book an appointment.
I also then reminded it, I said always include a P.S. in every email because. Because that highlights the main point of the email. We know that with emails the most red thing obviously is the subject line. So it's really important that you get the subject line right because that's what makes them click it to open it. The next most red thing is the PS at the bottom because that's normally a summary. So people skip to the bottom to say, okay, what's this about? Oh, it's about that. All right. Okay. I might read it in full detail then. That's generally what, what people tend to do or the majority do. So that's the first one. That's the confirmation email. You would then go and set that up in your system. So we use mailchimp and what you can do is you can give it a trigger. So when something happens, this email is sent out. So when somebody joins your list, when somebody subscribes for that lead magnet, send them this email. Okay, so that's how that would work.
You can then take that to the next level and create all of the remainder follow up emails. So I could again take the copy from that confirmation email, add it to my project file so it's got that information. With the information in your project files about the ideal client and the lead magnet, can you create a five part email campaign that follows on from the download of this guide? I already have the confirmation email created here, so you can use this as the structure. Let's start by giving a brief outline of the five email emails and what each one will contain. So what I've actually done there is I've copied and pasted the, the confirmation email so that I can say this is what the first one looks like. Let's, let's make sure that it's in keeping with that so that there's consistency.
And then I've asked it to create me five emails. Now you might want to ask ChatGPT what its verdict is on how many emails you should be sending that are specific, specific to this. If you're also adding them to a welcome campaign, then they might be getting emails from that as well as the specific emails. And you just want to make sure that you've got that balance. If you're very new and you're very, you're just starting with doing this sort of stuff, then it's potentially five is fine because that's all you're sending.
Okay, so email one, it's giving me a bit of a, a summary of what it's going to include in that email first. So the subject line is going to be your next tax saving move. Easy, quick wins. The purpose is going to be to reinforce the value of the ebook, ensuring the reader takes immediate action. And the content is going to be a brief recap of the ebook.
