Mary Kostka walks through how punch cards work in the patient-management system. She shows a purchased 12-visit QRI package, then demonstrates the punch card tab that counts down visits as patients check in and out, using example patients Jack and Kaden.

In this video I'm going to go over what a punch card looks like and it's kind of part of the general store. But I'm just going to show you with one of our current QRI patients. So I'm going to go to patients and click Jack here and then I'm going to show you. We'll go to his receipts. So you can see here that he purchased qri package on the 23rd of September. There's the 12 visits here. So these the QRI packages because they're based on a certain count. So this is a 12 visit package. You will use that punch card feature when you're it's tied to the item so that will show up once it's purchased. That automatically shows up in their punch card tab here so you can see the punch card. For the QRA12 visits. The initial amount was 12. He's used 9, so he has 3 remaining. Awesome. So how this works is it will show up in the patient's appointment. So I'm going to go to today we have a different patient coming in for QRI today. Jack came in yesterday I guess. Well, I'll just show you with Kaden today and I'm not going to do it since he hasn't been in yet. Hopefully he will but so we're looking here. If I were to once I check him in, punch cards will show up here. So he has, he's used two. So 10 of 12 remaining. He's used two. So for this visit I'm going to click here and we're going to punch the card when he comes in. Not going to punch it yet because he hasn't come in yet. But we would punch it. It tags what day it was and goes in and changes the visit count number. So after today it'll say 11. Nope, it'll say nine of 12 remaining. Three is. So that's how to track that. And as mentioned in the schedule video, this is an express check in checkout type, appointment type. Since we're not billing any codes. So after we punch the card we would click this button and it would mark him as checked out. As you can see here for Jack, that's exactly what we did for Jack yesterday. Same we'll do for Kaden today. This will also show all the punch cards that have ever been used, which most of them are not like we don't need to see those very often. It's more per patient but I believe they disappear after they are used so they won't show up anymore once they've been used. We can still see what they purchased in the receipts tab. So that is helpful. And that's all on punch cards for now.
