In this webinar video, now that we have a few products created in SendOwl, let's talk about getting set up to sell them. The first thing you're going to want to do is head here into Settings and you want to go to the Payment Gateways page. This is where you will connect either your Stripe account or your PayPal Business account or your BitPay account so that you can take payments. SendOwl itself doesn't collect any payments. When your buyer makes a purchase and they enter their credit card details, we pass that information straight through to your payment account and that's where the transaction is processed. So I have this account set up right now to use Stripe as a payment gateway and I have it in test mode just so I can demonstrate some sales. And the process for connecting any of our payment gateways is just to click the checkbox and then put in the details. So here I would replace my account email with my PayPal email and then just follow the prompts from there. Our help center has all the details of how to set up each payment gateway, so you can just follow those steps and you'll be all set. Once you have that payment gateway connected, then you're ready to sell these products. SendOwl offers you a lot of different ways to do that. So I'm going to take this product here and I'm going to come over to the Sell link, and that's going to bring up for me our sales options page. Now you have a version of this page for every single product in your account. If I go to the second product down, hit the Sell sell link. Same layout, different code and links. So these are all different ways that you can sell this product. I'm going to walk through them with you, and I want to more importantly show you what the buyer sees for each one of these. So the first two are links, and in either case with these, what you would do is just copy the link and then you would paste it into an email newsletter or a text message or, you know, a social post. Your YouTube description, a TikTok description, wherever you want to share that link with your buyers. There are two of them here, so let's start with this one. This is what we call the payment page link, and this is the simplest and quickest selling method Sendowl offers. So if I copy that, I'm just going to open a tab in my browser and paste it in there. But you know, obviously we've shared it along the way. So that link takes you here to what we call the payment page, and you'll be seeing this page a lot today. The buyer just needs to enter their details, and then they can put in their credit card information. Now I'm just going to use a test card here since we have this account enabled for test transactions. Then they'll hit pay, and as soon as your payment gateway account tells us that the payment's cleared, we deliver the product, and we do it on this unique download page. This page is unique to each purchaser. It'll have the product they've bought, and then all they have to do is click the download button and it'll download it right to their computer, like so. Now we also have this link, which is a little different. So we say this is the payment page link, and this link is what's known as the product sales page link. It works very similarly. We'll copy it, paste it into an email, a text message, wherever you'd like to share it. Let's open this one in a new tab, and we can see that it takes us to more of a formal sales page. And when the buyer clicks Buy Now, it'll take them to the payment page. So think of these two this way. Let's say you have already been talking to your audience about your product for a while, and all you need is for them to have a very quick way to just pay you. That's when you'll want to use the payment page link. That is the fewest number of steps. If you need to give your buyer a little more detail about the product before they buy, then you'll want to use the product sales page link like this one. So you can have your thumbnail image and some details about the product, and then when the buyer clicks Buy Now, guess where they're going from here? They're going straight to the payment page. And so those are the two link options. Now if you do a lot of social media, you can also connect your various accounts to these buttons so that you can simply click a button and it'll take you right to your account and it'll start up a post with the appropriate link in it. Now if you use our Linktree button here, that does something even cooler. You can add any of your products straight to your Linktree as a link. And then here's a sample Linktree I have set up. I'll go ahead and click one of these links and it displays this nice little sales page with the description, the price, my image. And then if my buyer clicks that Buy Now button, guess where they're headed? The payment page. So there are already a lot of different ways to sell, right? But it goes even deeper than that. So if you have a web page or a blog, you can turn it into an online store using these buttons. And for each product that you have available to sell, we make 4 different buttons. You can see how the previews are changing over here as I click through them. All you have to do is copy the code and then paste it into your web page. And we have help center instructions for all of the major web platforms so you can just follow those steps. So I have a little free Wix website that I set up just so you can see how these things work. Here is a blog post and I went ahead and stuck a Buy Now button in there because you don't have to have an online store to sell with SendOwl. You can sell from anywhere. When my buyer clicks that Buy Now button, yep, that's correct, they're going to the payment page again. If you want to sell multiple products from one page, make use of our Add to Cart buttons. So that's this one here. You can see a preview there, and you would copy that code. And when you paste it into that web page, each product has its own button, and that allows you to feature multiple products and sell them all from one page. So my buyer clicks this Add to Cart button And what they'll see is something that looks a little more like a traditional shopping cart. Let's say they bought this ebook, but they actually also wanted to buy this dictionary, so they'll add that. The shopping cart keeps adding items. You can also change quantities if you want. And then when you click checkout, you're headed— guess where— to that payment page again. So all of these follow a predictable pattern, but they take many different paths. And what's cool about that is you are never limited to just one way to sell. You might have certain products that are going to appeal mostly to your social media audience, so all you have to do is share the links on social. You might have a product where you want to make a detailed blog post about it and you just want to stick a Buy Now button on there. Easy to do. You might have an email newsletter and you just want to throw a quick link in it. Also easy to do. So that is a quick overview of all the different ways you can sell through SendOut.
