Developing Strategic Partnerships

Build partnerships by showing up at industry events like the Louisville truck show and asking how you can help. Offer free webinars for their staff. Don't ask for referrals right away. Prove value first, then trust follows.

Yeah, you're exactly right. And that's what— that's what we've done that in the past. COVID obviously put a damper on all that stuff, but there are like 4 or 5 truck shows a year. There's a big one in Louisville every year. And so I try to go to that one every time I can. And yeah, and again, just go talk to the booth. And I always tell them when I go see them, hey, if you've got a prospect coming up, just shove me out of the way. It's cool. Like, I know you're here to get— you're here to get business. But if you've got nobody in front of you, I want to talk to you about, is there a way that we can work together? Can I help educate your people? And have them go, Man, these, you really, you know, it could be like the insurance agencies providing the education, if they have a webinar series or something. Like, we're happy to do a webinar for you, absolutely free. We want to educate your people. And if we get something out of it, that's great. But, you know, it's about, it's, you know, it's, it's marketing collateral for us. And it's, it's a good way to make friends. And yeah, and always go to it to see what you can do for them. And I think that's really important too. Don't go to the insurance agent or whoever, or the marketing person for the dental office and say, here's how you can help me. Now be like, hey, you're marketing for a dental practice, how can I help you be more successful? And I think a lot of people get that wrong. They're like, they want, they expect that first meeting to— I went and met with these guys and I didn't get 77 referrals, I wonder what's going on. Well, they don't know you yet, that's what's going on. So, you know, show them some love.
