Look, we're all guilty of this. We binge business content like Netflix, Hormozy breakdowns from My First Million, entrepreneur podcasts. We feel productive while we're watching, but then what? The harsh truth: your brain is not designed to retain 90 minutes of information. Studies show we forget 50% of new information within an hour. That $100 million piece of advice you just received, it's already evaporating. But what if instead of just consuming content, you could actually extract and organize every insight like a business analyst? I figured out how to turn any YouTube video into a comprehensive business case study. We're talking detailed breakdowns, actionable frameworks, implementation steps, psychological insights, everything you need to actually use what you learn.. And I'm gonna show you right now the exact process live using this video, uh, from Alex Hormozi and Sean Perry that I referenced earlier. I watched it yesterday and I did this exact process with it. Let's go ahead and get started. First, we're gonna need the raw material. So if you scroll down beneath the video, you're gonna see, if you scroll down here, transcript, click show transcript, and then right up here in the top right, you're gonna see the transcript pop up. So now we want to just go ahead and copy and paste all of this. Don't leave anything out. I was very tempted to just— there was one particular section that was very interesting to me. I wanted to just use that section, but that would not have given me the advantage that I want later on where I can ask more contextual questions as we go. We want that raw, unfiltered conversation. So I'm gonna go ahead and copy all this text, and I'm gonna bring it over here, and I've got a prompt set up here that I'm gonna go ahead and put this prompt in the description of the video so you can do the same thing. But This prompt is what I call a deep extraction prompt. It's gonna give you everything you need from this video. It's not just gonna summarize it. We're gonna tell the AI to act like a professional business analyst and extract the complete strategic breakdowns, the psychological principles, the implementation details, direct quotes and examples, and actionable takeaways. So I've got the prompt there. I'm gonna go ahead, I'm gonna hit press on the go on the prompt. And you can do this in either Claude or ChatGPT. I've tested it in both. I like the results I get get from ChatGPT a little bit better. And what I've done here, I'll show you after, is I'm putting this into a project in ChatGPT that I can continue to query this information later. So now I can start to ask things like, hey, I want more than just the marketing insights. I want to modify my prompt to get more into a specific example. So for me, I'm actually working on our pricing model right now, and so this was very interesting timing for me because it helped me to craft and think differently about our offers and how we position them in the market. This video is gonna help me to not only retain the information that I got from the video, but also gonna help me to learn better from it. And so if I wanna take it to another level, I could actually hit on the study mode here. So study mode is not on in project. Sorry, I'm in a project, so I'm not gonna hit on study mode there. But if I did this out in the regular chat, I could click on study mode and I could study this information, have it ask me questions where I could learn it a little bit differently. But I'm doing this with tons of content every week in different ways. In this particular circumstance, I've gone ahead and I've created a project for this. I'm dropping the complete deep extraction prompt in the comments below. Copy it, use it, modify it, use it however you want. But understand, knowledge without action is just entertainment. I really focus on making sure— I've listened to this episode of this podcast 3 times now. I'm pretty sure it just got released in the last couple days, but again, it was very timely. It's got information that I need that is relevant to a business challenge I'm trying to solve right now. It's not something that's bringing me out onto a new quest where I'm just searching, looking for information. I'm just consuming content just to consume.
