Matt Vaadi describes how Vensure switched from filming actors to AI avatars for training videos, cutting production time from 45 hours to 4.5 hours per video. Updates now happen instantly without reshoots or scheduling conflicts. The company uses AI avatars for most of its compliance videos.

their sales training as an example, they've converted entirely to avatars instead of humans. So it used to take them— they showed a couple of videos side by side of a woman on their HR team and an AI avatar. And they said, look, if, if Susie over here records this video and something goes wrong and we need to update something, we need to tell her to fix her hair the same way and put on the same outfit and come back in and record it next week. And all in all, those videos were taking us 45 hours to produce. Now with the AI avatar, we're talking about a 4.5-hour front-to-back production time for something that used to take us 45. 5 hours. And when they need to update it, it's automatic. They can do it at a computer instead of asking Susie to come back in and, you know, oh goodness, she cut her hair in the week since we recorded the last one. Like, you know, they get rid of all that. No reshooting, no coordinating schedules, no making sure someone shows up in the same outfit as last time. And they do the same thing with their HR compliance videos for clients. They're starting to create those mostly via AI-generated avatars.
