Hello everybody, welcome to Love Life. I'm Matthew Hussey. One of the questions I get asked most by women is what to do when a man they've just started seeing gets too sexually suggestive too quickly via text. This happens all the time and there are a few different ways that you can respond. It all depends on the kind of message that you want to send. I've actually got an amazing script for you to use that shows him that you're high value while still driving him crazy with desire. I'll tell you how you can get this copy and paste text at the end of the show today. So be sure to listen right till the end. Okay, let's get to the show. So for those of you that don't know, I have a program called Impact, and it's sold out right now. But we, in this program, literally tell people the secrets to human dynamics. How do you get good with people in every situation, socially, professionally, in your love life? and as part of this program, I did this interview series, and each month I interview a new expert. Well, this one month, our expert was Louise Rowe, and we did an hour-long interview with her. She's the host of Fashion Star, MTV's Plane Jane, the ABC's coverage of the Oscars she does on the red carpet, interviewing all of the celebrities. And I was very interested in her opinion on what is it that helps you make an impact? Now, she was discussing this idea that you have to you have to be going out to different places and experiencing different things each month so that you have things to talk about, so that you have a diverse experience of life. You become a well-rounded person. Now, as an introvert, that doesn't mean I always act like an introvert, but a lot of my life I've spent being more comfortable in my own company or at home watching a movie than going out there and being in the world. So it always took for some extroverts, it's easy. They want to go out every night. If you're like me, I'm the opposite of that. It takes something extra for me to go out. I need to like, is it gonna be really fun? Is the music gonna be exactly what I like? Am I gonna be around the people that I wanna be around? Other people, not everyone is like that. So being somebody who needs a little extra to go out, to do stuff, especially new things that are outside my comfort zone, I said to her, what is it that gets you to go out? How do you get yourself to go and do something? And it was really simple what she said. It was five words. She said, My mom told these to me and she said, It's stupidly obvious and simple. She said, But it has always gotten me to go out and to do things. She said, you, can always come home. You can always come home. Anytime you're making this big drama about, Should I go out tonight? Should I not? Do I... You know, we do that, don't we? We really dramatize it. like it becomes this, this earth-shattering decision. I just don't, I just really don't know if I want to go out tonight. It's just, it's just so hard. Life is really tough right now. I don't know. I don't know if I want to stay in and, you know, watch the Hobbit again or go out to the club or to the bar or to dinner with my friends. It becomes this ordeal. Well, it doesn't have to be because guess what? You can always come home. And if you replay that in your mind every time you're about to make that decision to go out, everything gets easier. I actually use this same logic to myself to go on holiday recently with a group of people that I hadn't met before. I hadn't met these people. It was for a friend's holiday that he was arranging. And I thought, God, this is, you know, this was a six day trip. I was like, do I really want to go to this for six days with people I don't know? And I had this in my head, you can always go home. Now, if you think of it like that, nothing seems as big of a deal. Of course, I went and of course I didn't go home early. I ended up having a great time and staying the whole time. But sometimes it's the pressure valve of knowing you can leave that gets you to stay. And that's the thing we always have to remember. If you don't give yourself that pressure valve, you may never go in the first place. Remind yourself you can leave and you give yourself the freedom to go. So that's it. Nice and simple today. You can always come home. Say that to yourself this Friday night, this Saturday night or Sunday when you go to that farmer's market you've never been to but you think you should because it'd be interesting and new. Maybe you could take a friend there. Maybe you'll meet a great guy there. Who knows? But you can always come home. I will see you in the next episode of Love Life.
