This is my first year attending, but it was just a great opportunity to come and learn about the entrepreneur ecosystem more and just kind of hearing more from the venture capitalists and also just hearing from entrepreneurs in general has been a great experience.
I think it's really a nice way for everyone to get together and really work together or find like individuals that can help them out. So I think it's a super connecting sort of conference.
I think personally we need more entrepreneurs in the world. This, this event would probably open up the minds of a couple people I know at my school. There aren't many people that are willing to take the risk of, you know, trying to start their own business. But I think coming to like this, seeing other people that have been successful, you know, just kind of encourages them to kind of step out of their boundary and try to expand inside a new world.
The Enterprise Institute has created angel funds all across the state. So they know who the investors are, they know what they're looking for. This is a great place for entrepreneurs to figure out path forward.
So being able to connect with people who may invest in your idea, being able to connect with people who may be able to mentor you through an idea that you're not quite sure where you're going to take that idea, and just being able to really bounce ideas off of people is so incredibly important. And it's something that you don't get exposure to very often.
I mean, you had people from all over, you know, both some local perspective that have been able to successfully grow here, but also some people from, you know, the coast or from Minneapolis that have more of an outside perspective that are invested here as well. So I just think the ability to see both local and outside state perspective is pretty powerful. Sam.
