Matt Wolfe shows the Flourish One, a $3,500 home robot that undercuts premium models like the Neo at $20,000. It uses a Raspberry Pi instead of expensive chips, offloads AI to the cloud, and learns tasks through a phone app that records your movements. Only 50 units ship in December.

This is the coolest thing I saw this week. It's an ultra basic, ultra cheap home robot, and that's the best part about it. It doesn't need fancy bells and whistles to help you with basic household chores. The Flourish One is around $3,500 compared to, say, the Neo, which is about $20 grand. And it's so cheap for a few reasons. It's small, and instead of expensive legs and fingers, it has a 6-wheel base and arms with grippers. But by far the most cost-saving part of it is that instead of putting an expensive Nvidia GPU inside, The onboard computer is a Raspberry Pi, and AI training or higher-level processing can use Cloud GPTs or your own computer. To train it on tasks, you just use your phone. The app uses the motion sensors inside your phone. You move it through the task and the robot mirrors those movements. So you could teach it to put away toys or wipe the table or water your plants or even clean the litter box. You can also schedule tasks or ask for them by voice. They're only making 50 robots in the first batch, And they're planning to start shipping in December. So let me know in the comments, when it comes to home robots, is it better to go simple and cheap rather than flashy and full of fancy features? Follow for more cool AI and future tech videos.
