Maxime Warnault walks through a client retention system that keeps monthly retainers for 12 months without a dedicated team. It starts with 72-hour onboarding, delivers a quick win in the first week, uses weekly three-question scorecards, monthly workshops, and quarterly reviews where renewals happen early instead of at contract end.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to keep your clients on monthly retainers for 12 months or more. And this is the nurture system in the scaling flywheel. And so we start with onboarding because the first 72 hours are crucial. The first hours of payment, we need to have one channel and one channel only for communication. On the funnel, they have a welcome video. We set expectations. We get an intake on where they are, what they want. We get them into the community, and then we have an onboarding call. Okay. And we need to tell them if the foundation feels slow, that's the sign it's working. So we need to actually give them a quick win in the first 7 days. So onboarding needs to be fast and they need to have a quick win in the first 7 days. So define it in advance, not discovered mid-program, and it needs to be specific, achievable, and visible in the first 7 days. So. Okay. What I've done for myself is I have a fast track or a sprint, and we get clients results in the first 7 days, so they make a return on their investment and they can keep going in the program, um, with peace. Okay, so the first— that can be the first content posted, the first DM replied, the first call booked. And if there are no, um, win by the first week, then we— the system flags it and we'll reach out to the client. Now every week, uh, we ask clients to fill out a scaling scorecard on 3 questions and each one KPI of each system, and we rate them red, yellow, green. And if they miss twice, we reach out to the client asking them to, uh, actually fill it out and stick to the process that they agreed upon. Next, we have monthly workshops and KPI reviews live on a group call, one, one hour and one topic aligned to where the cohort is. The content audits can be offer audits or funnel reviews. And before the call, the client submit their scorecard and their confidence score in what they are doing and where they are going. Next, we have quarterly features, not features. So we review the 90-day KPIs for the past 90 days and we plan the next 90 days. Okay. What would make it better? What would make it bigger? And the renewals happens here, not at the end of the contract. Finally, we have the advocacy. So when clients hit the milestone, we create a case study, and this is what actually runs the flywheel and, uh, becomes like— refers— become the pipeline and everything. We can use it in the content. So you don't need a retention team, you need a system. So if you want the systems to keep clients for 12 months or more, comment 100K below and I'll send it to you right away. Peace.
