In this short self‑help video, Mayur Bardolia introduces the "2‑minute technique," a simple productivity rule that says if a task can be completed in two minutes or less, you should do it immediately rather than postponing it. He explains why postponement wastes time and drains mental and physical energy, then walks through concrete examples: quickly reading and replying to emails, clearing a cluttered desk or room, filing paperwork, jotting down ideas, and making brief phone calls. For each example he shows how the action takes less than two minutes and how doing it instantly reduces distraction, stress, and mental load. He cites research indicating that applying the rule boosts willpower, confidence, focus, and overall energy, while neglecting it leads to laziness and fatigue. The video concludes with an encouragement to adopt the technique to increase daily productivity and personal energy.

Hello friends, this is Mayur Bardolia. Welcome to this video. In this video, I'm going to share with you a very simple but very effective technique called 2-minute technique to boost your productivity. 2-minute technique is, is something that takes Now we have to do so many tiny little things, but what we do, we try to postpone that. Okay, postponement is the greatest waste of time. Now let me share with you, so there are so many things which you can do in less than 2 minutes, and that will help you out to increase your physical and mental energy. Now first of all, let's start with an email. We receive lots of email throughout the day. Now, but, and the thing is, we just look at the email And we don't want to read. We don't decide to read and respond to it. We just fill up our inbox and don't want to read one by one. Now believe me, when you open the email, it hardly takes less than 2 minutes to read and respond to the email, whether it's just, you know, giving the answer yes or no, whether it's giving some small explanation, whether it's scheduling that appointment. It takes less than 2 minutes of your time. to reply to an email. Okay, so first of all, try to just, you know, clear out your inbox, right? Second thing is clear your desk and room. Now, I'm not generally the admirer of a very clean desk, okay? I like to keep my desk messy and so many things at my desk. But the thing is, I keep only those things which are important to me, which can help me to do my work, and I clear out all those unwanted things that catches my attention. Okay, it drains my energy, and it takes less than two minutes to clear unwanted things from your desk. And if you even need, you can do the same technique for to clear your room. We just leave our clothes everywhere, books everywhere, and so many things around us. But if we just start doing it, it takes less than two minutes to clear your room. Then organize and file paperwork. Personally, I'm not really good at doing paperwork. Keeping files in order. Then I realized that it takes hardly less than 2 minutes just to grab the file and folder, get the paper, punch it, boom! But I used to keep avoiding it, but now I learned that it just takes less than 2 minutes to keep my files in order. Then write down ideas. This is really powerful. We, when we sit down for our work and when we are busy doing something, our mind gives sometimes really million-dollar ideas. Okay, then we think about their ideas and we leave the thing, our work on one side. It's good to do daydreaming. Okay, it's good, right? But the thing is, if you just write down the idea, you can think about it later on and keep that paper or pen or maybe a small diary which says idea book with you. So write down the idea. You don't need to judge too quickly that whether it's good idea or bad idea. You just need to write down. Sometimes some people just, you know, jot down the idea. In the smartphone, which is absolutely good idea, very cool. When you don't have the pen and paper with you and diary with you, you can do this. Okay, but this is really powerful. Write down the ideas. Ideas can change your lives. Make quick calls. Sometimes we need to give a quick call. I've seen many people who don't want to pick up the phone and give a call to the person they are supposed to give. But just take a look at that. If you just make a quick call just to schedule an appointment Just to give an answer in yes or no, just to give an answer in just less than two minutes' time, and taking some appointments and something like that takes less than two minutes' time. So really powerful, okay? And what are the benefits of it? Okay, because thing is, if you don't do these things, it actually sucks your energy. It drains your energy. It keeps you distracted. It makes you more stressed because our unconscious mind keep looking at those things and try to do in their mind. So your mind. Become so busy solving the puzzle, and in reality, it's not getting done. Okay, so look at the benefits. First of all, research shows that if you follow this technique, if you do something that takes you less than 2 minutes to do, just do it. Okay, it increases your willpower and confidence, makes you stress-free, and it increases your mental and physical energy and focus. Believe me, friends, if you get things done in It actually increases your energy and confidence. And the thing is, if you don't do it on time, it actually makes you more lazy. It drains your energy, makes you feel more tired. And I've seen a lot of people who actually feel the energy after the accomplishment of small tasks. Okay, so try it on yourself. Use 2-minute technique to increase your productivity. Thank you for watching this video. Much power to you. Take care. Thank you.
