Clear emotional blocks using your inner strengths

Success coach Mayur Bardolia teaches a three-step floor exercise using cards labeled S, D, and R. You step on each to move from feeling stuck, to observing the problem, to embodying a resource like confidence or humor, then carry that feeling back to the stuck state. Use it before high-pressure situations or to shift limiting beliefs.

We have all the resources within us. We have the solution to every problem that we face. In this video, you will learn a technique that will instantly Put you in a resourceful state. And resourceful state means you will feel more confident, more capable, and empowered to access your inner resources, the resources within you, such as skills, strengths, positive emotions, or past successes to handle a new situation effectively. It's a state of being where you are at your optimal mental clarity, focus, and emotional balance to achieve a desired outcome. You will feel more confident, calm, and motivated, and enthusiastic. You will be able to think clearly, make better decisions, and access creative solutions that you cannot see when you feel stuck. When you're far too busy in your problem. More importantly, you feel in control and capable of making the most of your abilities or past experiences. You may do the exercise you're going to learn to enhance performance in high-pressure situations such as public speaking, interviews, sales meetings, or anything that is a high-pressure situation. Also to help manage stress, fear, or limiting beliefs. And as I said, you will be able to boost confidence and creativity from problem-solving. And this exercise that I'm gonna share with you, it is one of the most common techniques that I teach in my workshops, seminars, and private coaching sessions. And this is one of the techniques that I have been using since I started working in the training and coaching industry 15 years ago. Now, to do this exercise, I would recommend you to do it in a small room where you can take 2 or 3 steps comfortably in triangular form. So you should be able to take 2 or 3 steps comfortably in a triangular form in your room. Step 1. Identify a stuck state. So a stuck state is unresourceful state or problem state where you feel less than good. Maybe lack of confidence, nervousness, stress, unclear ideas, doubts, fear, indecisiveness, or maybe anger. Step 2. Get 3 cards or sheets of paper and write the letter S for stuck state on one card. On the other hand, write the letter D for dissociated state, and I'll explain to you what is dissociated in a minute. And on the third card, write the letter R for resource. And place the cards on the floor in a triangular form. Now let's talk about stuck state. That means you are associated with the problem. And this stuck state, you know, it makes you feel fully engaged and emotionally connected with the problems. And you're experiencing the event as if it's happening to you in this moment. So on the floor, when you put the card on, briefly step onto the S or stuck state card and associate with the stuck state, but only for a few seconds, like 3 to 4 seconds. Dissociate from the problem state and stop, step onto the D card, leaving all those fear over there. Point to the S card. So look at the S card. And dissociated state means a mental state where you observe or experience an event from an outside perspective, as if you are watching yourself rather than being fully immersed in the experience. Look at that problem. Look at your stuck state from a third person's perspective, a second person's perspective. This is in contrast to an associated state or stuck state, as you previously been. While still remaining on the D card, turn and look towards the R card, which is this one, and identify a resource that would be appropriate to the problem. For example, you can choose humor. Confidence, playfulness, curiosity. So these are the resourceful state, or even happiness. And see the resource over there pointing towards the R card. See the younger you, see the more intelligent than you, or a wiser yourself. It can be new ideas, options, better alternatives. Or maybe you can see someone who can help you or someplace you can get help from. Look over to the resource card and know that in a minute you are going to step onto that R card and fully associate with that resourceful state. Now I want you to gently step onto the R card, just right there. Okay? So step onto the R card and wrap the resources around you fully. Immerse yourself into the resources. Feel all the feelings and see what you're seeing at that time. Hear what you were hearing at that time. Now, feel this state of resourcefulness in your entire body. Feel how good you feel when you have better ideas, options, alternatives, or someone who can be helpful to you, or place you can get help from. When you have completely associated With the resource state or resourceful state of mind, step back onto the S card again. Step onto the problem state, taking all the positive feelings with you. Take a moment and let this integrate. Now step out of the triangle. Now don't stand on any card, just step out of it. Take a deep breath and notice how the problem is different. What new solutions are now available to you that were not available before? What is new? What are the new ideas you found? What are the new emotions you found? If needed, in fact, I would highly recommend you can repeat the exercise. It is very important to build a very powerful resource. One thing, one resource that more powerful than the stuck state, so that it even makes the stuck state seem smaller when compared to the resource. If needed, you can stack a few resourceful states like happiness, joy, curiosity, fascination, enthusiasm. You stack a few resources together and make it so exciting and fun that the resource state is very intense. So do the exercise you learn in this video. Share your experience. If you benefit from this video, please recommend it to someone who can benefit from it. Share it far and wide.
