Don't wait to be Inspired. So, what to do instead?

Waiting for inspiration is a trap. The speaker argues that action comes first: write, create, show up even when unmotivated, and inspiration follows. He grew his email list from 20 to over 5,000 by consistently publishing despite fear of criticism.

Every day we decide to do something. We start the day and after some time we stop. Well, we just don't get that kick of inspiration to carry on. We wait to get inspired. Well, inspiration is something really magical. Everyone is hungry for inspiration. People stay where they are because they are waiting for some signals from the universe that inspires them. People wait for a long time just to get their dose of inspiration. A lot of time people ask me, how can we get more inspiration? And I say, it's not available in any shop, and they look puzzled. The question is, how can I get more inspiration? It also presupposes that he is already inspired. There is the wrong concept of inspiration. Well, surprisingly, perspiration or action wins over inspiration. Let's talk in more detail. I believe that I will start taking action once I'm inspired. Then I will have a crystal clear vision of what I want to create, and I will know exactly how I'm going to do it. Well, my feeling of inspiration will give me the motivation, and I need to put in efforts. Well, this can be summarized in this way, okay? The inspiration theory, and it means that it's getting inspired will lead to taking action and it will lead to getting more results. Well, it's not the rule to get results. However, sometimes it's an exception. It doesn't work all the time. So how can we get more results and do more things? A much more common and reliable pattern of creation or result is this. I am not feeling inspired, but I will start taking action anyway. At some point, inspiration strikes, or if it doesn't, either way I keep taking action. This can be explained like this: the perspiration theory. Okay, the reality is taking action leads to getting inspired, and it leads to get more results. Many people ask me that how do I write books, create video courses, create time for making videos? Few years ago, I started writing and decided that I want to share my knowledge and ideas with people, including you. I initially waited for inspiration to come to write, but it did not work. I was actually afraid to type the article. Unconsciously, I was afraid of being criticized and laughed at. I kept myself away from my computer to write just because I was waiting for the inspiration to come. Then suddenly I started taking action. I started writing. My continuous actions were multiplying my inspiration. In other words, my perspiration, or should I say my action, was pulling inspiration faster than before when I tried to pull perspiration with inspiration. I also admit that sometimes I took a break for some time due to some other commitments and involvement in other interesting projects and came back with new ideas. But in each case, these articles and videos have been the result of the action or perspiration approach. When I first started writing my article or newsletter, I had only 20 people on my list. Now I got more than 5,000 people on my email list. If you want to subscribe, sign up on www.mayurbardolia.com to receive articles straight to your mailbox. So far, I wrote nearly 200+ articles on my website and few other websites, newspapers, and magazines. They are on www.mayurbardolia.com and many others are available on other platforms. I started making my videos too afterwards. My efforts are my inspiration. In my experience, inspiration always arrives when you are ready to take action or already taken action. Remember, efforts will inspire you. Perspiration attracts inspiration. People who wait for inspiration are holding themselves back and generally dependent on external resources to lift them up rather than moving forward by taking action. So let's summarize what we have covered so far. People wait for the right time just to get an inspiration. Well, it doesn't work like that. So far we have covered, and it's much more common and reliable pattern of creation or result is this. I am not feeling inspired, but I will start taking action anyway. At some point, inspiration strikes, or if it doesn't, either way I keep taking action. The perspiration reality is taking action leads to getting inspired, and it leads to get more results and get more things done. Your efforts will inspire you. Perspiration attracts inspiration. People who wait for inspiration are holding themselves back. And generally dependent on external sources to lift them up rather than moving forward by taking action. So that's it for now.
