Two Questions to Unstuck Yourself

Success coach Mayur Bardolia shows how fixating on problems narrows what you see. He offers two questions to break free: "What is stopping me?" to uncover self-imposed barriers, and "What would happen if I did?" to shift focus toward possibilities.

In this video, I'm going to share 2 questions that will allow you to unstuck yourself, to solve problems and find more solutions. These 2 questions will shift your attention from negative situations to positive situations. By the end of this video, you will break free from your limitations so that you can find more ideas, solutions, and motivation to move forward rather than getting stuck in the past and negative mindset. Now, before we go into those questions, let's discuss what exactly the problem is. And when we have a problem, we are fixated on it. Here is what happens when you're fixated on something or you pay attention to something. I'm going to share a picture with you and I will share it only for 7 seconds. You need to count the number of red dots in that picture. Have a look at this picture. Thank you. Now, based on what you saw, can you remember how many blue dots were there? Don't rewind the video. Can you count the number of green dots? Black dots? You could not tell the exact number of dots because I asked you to pay attention to only red dots. So you ignored the other colored dots and paid attention exclusively to the red dots. Now, why am I telling you this? When you are fixated on a problem or pay attention to the negative events, you will ignore other solutions, better possibilities, better ideas around you. You get what you focus on. Whatever you pay attention to, it grows, it increases. So what if you shift your attention to the positive outcome, better possibilities, and better ideas? And as we did that exercise of different colored dots, you learn you get what you focus on. And when you focus on solutions, you get more solutions. You start seeing more solutions. When people have faced any problem in the past, what they do? They really live in the past again in the same moment, and they think it'll happen over and over again. So to overcome that, you know, you need to think of solution. You need to find out the possibilities so that you have more choices. More choices gives you more power to choose the best solution. People are not stuck. You are not stuck. You are not having any problem. You have lack of choices. You need more choices and solutions and possibilities in order to grow in your life. Or to solve any problem. So let's get back to our question. Questions will help you to think about the solution. And the question number 1 is, what is stopping me? Or should I ask you, what is stopping you? This is a really powerful question. When you ask yourself, what is stopping you? Or what is stopping me? You're freezing the problem in the moment. Many times the problems are results of negative beliefs, and many times these negative beliefs are just excuses. To understand this, I recommend you to watch my another video on YouTube titled How to Replace Negative Beliefs with Positive Beliefs. People always think about the past, what happened in the past. If it happened over again, Let me tell you an interesting thing. The best thing about the past is it's already over. And you know, the best thing about the worst past is it's already over. And your past does not automatically equal to your future. So when you ask yourself, what is stopping me? The most probably you'll find the answer that you are stopping yourself. Now, sometimes people argue, oh, what about some barriers, some problems and obstacles that are real? And I say that if something has been achieved by someone, or if someone can do, you can do it too. If a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach. So if they have overcome those problems which you are facing right now, Those problems are not real barriers or real problems. Those are only in your imagination. Now, how you can create more choices in order to grow in your life or to solve any problem or grab more opportunities? Ask yourself question number 2, what would happen if I did? Or if I ask you, what would happen if you did? This is generally people don't ask. People ask in the opposite way. They say, what worse can happen in the future, right? What can go wrong in the future? What problems may come in the future? It's all negative. You get what you focus on. So when you ask yourself, what worse can happen, you are creating the negative Less empowering and less productive outcome in your life. You know, you get what you focus on, so it's not going to help you. So ask yourself, what would happen if I did? And when you ask yourself, you are creating the more powerful, positive, and productive images and representation about the future, and you create More and better choices. You are into more resourceful state. Ask yourself, what would happen if I could? Now, when you ask these questions, what is stopping me and what would happen if I did? You are into more powerful and resourceful state. There is one bonus question I would like to add in here. Which is why not? Ask yourself, why not? So ask yourself, write down, think about it, and share with me your feedback. Do the exercise you learn in this video, share your experience, and if you benefit from this video, please recommend it to someone who can benefit from it. Share it far and wide. I share the same questions to my coaching clients and in my workshop as well. This is Mayur Bardolia, Success Coach from North Star Angel Coaching and Spiritual Solutions.
