In this self‑help video, certified NLP Master Practitioner Mayur Bardolia explains one of the core presuppositions of Neuro‑Linguistic Programming: the belief that you already possess all the resources needed to grow and succeed. He illustrates the concept with a client story about a business‑owner who feels stuck, repeatedly blaming external circumstances and fearing failure. Through a series of probing questions, Mayur uncovers a loop of fear and lack of confidence, then uses a simple light‑bulb analogy (10‑watt, 50‑watt, 100‑watt bulbs receiving the same power) to demonstrate that the difference in brightness is due to internal resistance, not lack of external supply. He expands the analogy to show that everyone has equal access to time, knowledge, mentors, and market opportunities; the limiting factor is the personal resistance each individual carries. The client realizes that his own fear is the only barrier, decides he wants to be a “100‑watt bulb,” and commits to seeking confidence, success, and growth. Mayur concludes that recognizing and reducing internal resistance unlocks the abundant resources already available to each person.

Hello, welcome back. It's your friend Mayur Bardolia, certified NLP Master Practitioner and hypnotherapist and life success coach. Today I'm going to talk to you about one of the presuppositions of neuro-linguistic programming, which is widely known as NLP. If you want to know more about NLP, you can check out one of my videos on YouTube channel. It's called Introduction to NLP. Now, presuppositions of NLP— what do I mean by that? Well, presuppositions means it's a set of statements, it's a set of same belief system which you should accept as it is true, right? And when you accept it as it is true, you are into more resourceful, more positive, and more productive state. And today's presupposition is you have got all the resources that you need in order to grow in your life. Now, what do I mean by that? I mean that you have got all the help, all the resources, all the opportunities around you in order to succeed. Now let me tell you why it is so effective. What happened, one of my clients of my personal life coaching came to me about a week ago And he shared his problem with me. What was wrong with him? Well, it was like he wasn't growing in his business, and his classmates from schools and colleges were far ahead of him in their career. And he was blaming the situation, he was blaming the world for not giving him the opportunity, and he was also thinking that he doesn't deserve the opportunity. Now, if you believe the same, if you are stuck, If you feel like you don't have the opportunity, this is the right video for you. Now, so first of all, I ask him question. So what stops you to notice opportunities around you? And he say fear of failure. And I ask him, so what do you need instead? He said, I need confidence. I say, so in order to get the confidence, what stops you get confidence? He said, fear of failure. I said, what do you need instead? He said, confidence. So he was stuck in this constant loop of thinking in his mind. So I gave him a small puzzle, and it's a very small question, I mean very easy question, and maybe you will be able to answer very easily, but the effect of this story and puzzle is just remarkable. So I asked him one small question, which was, if you have 3 different bulbs— 10-watt bulb, 50-watt bulb, and 100-watt bulb— if we give 240 watts of electricity current to each and every bulb individually, which bulb will be dimmer and which bulb will be brighter? So I asked the same question to him, and he answered, Okay, it's very easy. 100-watt bulb will be more brighter, 50-watt bulb will be more dimmer than 100, and 10-watt bulb is the dimmer bulb. And I asked him, so why it is a difference? And he said it's because it's 10-watt bulb, it's 50-watt bulb, 100-watt bulb. I say I give the supply of electricity equally to each and every bulb. So what separates them in terms of brightness? And he answered, resistance. Well, resistance means 100-watt bulb has least resistance. It allows the electric supply to it. And 50-watt bulb has more resistance than 100-watt bulb, and 10-watt got more resistance Than 50 and 100 volt. So that's why it's dimmer. And so now we come back to the presuppositions. When I say you have got all the resources that you need, I mean that you have got equal amount of time given to each and every individual around you, that is including successful people. You have got the access to the knowledge, you have got the access today information. I mean, if you want to gain knowledge and information, you can find out from internet, you can read books, you can read magazines, you can read research papers and journals. You have got the freedom to learn any skill in the world, right? The only thing is you need to find out who is the master at the skill. You have the freedom to hire a mentor or guide in your life in order to solve your problems. And achieve your goal. And you have got the entire world as a market and each and every individual on the planet as your customer. So now you have the supply of everything— time, energy, effort, knowledge, skill, and market. So do you have the resistance? The more resistance you have, the beamer you become. And the less resistance you got, the brighter you become. So are you allowing everything to you or not? So he was— he smiled and he said, I don't want to be a 10-watt bulb, I want to be a 100-watt bulb. I said, there you go. So what do you want instead? He said, I want success, I want to grow my business, I want to make new friends, and I want to gain new knowledge, and I want to acquire new skills. I said, so? Who is stopping you? And he got the answer: nobody but himself. So there you go, resistance is within you. So who is stopping you? Are you stopping yourself? Okay, so you got the answer. If you want to grow in your life, you got all the resources that you need in your life. Thank you very much for watching the video. I'll see you again sometimes. Take care.
