Melissa Gendreau teaches on Galatians 5:22-25, urging listeners to live by the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. She argues that embodying these virtues reflects God's Spirit, reduces harm, and serves as a visible witness to others.

We are called to shine God's light and be a beacon for others. Again, the Bible gives us a roadmap on how to do that well. Galatians 5:22-25: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. I'm sure you've read those verses so many times, but have you focused on that little sentence, against such things there is no law? Meaning, if you live by the characteristics laid out by the Holy Spirit, you will be living well. That doesn't mean there won't be struggles and suffering in your life, but it means your character won't be the cause of your pain or someone else's pain. You can show everyone around you the fruit of the Spirit characteristics, and it'll be noticed.
