In this episode of the Full Throttle Leaders podcast, host Michael Falato interviews Amber Seales, founder of VoraBound. Amber explains that VoraBound offers two core products: VoraBound Motion, a consulting service that helps startups design and scale outbound go‑to‑market engines, and VoraBound Signal, an eight‑week training program that teaches aspiring tech‑sales professionals the fundamentals of SDR work. She shares her background as a longtime tech‑sales leader, including a global director role for a Kubernetes‑focused company, and recounts her early sales experience starting at age 15. Amber discusses common sales pipeline leaks, emphasizing the importance of clearly defining an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), articulating the problem being solved, and aligning tooling and workflows—particularly CRM architecture and AI augmentation—without over‑automating the human element. She outlines her consulting approach, noting she can assist with strategy and some execution (e.g., dashboards) but does not act as a full‑stack Salesforce architect. Pricing for the Signal training ranges from $500 to $2,000 per participant, depending on the package. Based in Winter Haven, Florida, Amber serves a global clientele, citing recent interest from India. Listeners are directed to her website (vorabound.com) and LinkedIn for contact.

Hello everybody, Michael Falato here from GTN Full Throttle. We have our Full Throttle Leaders podcast today with Amber Seales from Vorebound. How you doing?
I'm wonderful, thank you for having me.
Tell me a little bit about your company and the journey to starting your company.
Yeah, so I decided to open up a company called VoraBound, and I have 2 products. I have VoraBound Motion, and that is to help startups that need to build a scalable outbound engine. And the reason why— what— how that came about is as I'm talking to startup companies They want to hire SDRs or beginning founding salespeople, but they don't have a game plan. They don't have an ICP in mind or anything like that. So that is just consulting startups and helping them with that go-to-market plan. The second product is called Vorebound Signal, and that is for people who want to get into tech sales, teaching them what tech sales is all about. the foundations of tech sales and how to prospect, what tools are used, who you're going to be targeting, and all that fun stuff.
And what did you do before this?
Yeah, I've been in tech sales for a long time. I was the global director of sales development for a company that handled Kubernetes, and I have managed teams globally, and I love being being a sales leader and everything. Sales is my life. I started at 15 and at the Sears counter, and I've been in and out of different types of sales— B2B, B2C, uh, retail, all that fun stuff. But the one thing, you know, I've really enjoyed the, the grit that you have to have when it comes to sales and the competition. And then on top of that, I love leading and helping others to want to achieve their goals as well.
And so what do you think the major leakage is in their pipe right now? It's— I mean, there's— I know that from seeing your infographics about the ICP, the framework, the prospecting, uh, the SDR motions. Are they hiring SDRs? Are they using agentic, uh, agents? Like, what, what are some best practices that you think that most people use? And what's just What's some of your favorite tips and tactics and strategies that you wanna share on this podcast?
Yeah, so the first thing is, who are you selling to? Don't just say I'm selling to enterprise companies and stuff. What is it that you're actually trying to solve and who's going to care about what you're trying to solve to? That's the biggest thing that you have to uncover first. 'Cause I hear all the time, oh, I have this amazing product, but who's going to care about this product? So once you define that, then you have to define, okay, What pain are you solving and how are we going to solve it? Do we have the people in place and how many people we need to put in place to be able to attack this? And then you have to look at what tools, what CRM systems. A lot of times people go and buy every— everything, like they go to Salesforce and they buy all the things in there, but then they don't have a Salesforce architect to actually make sure it works for Right. So you have to make sure the workflows are good. And then you have to make sure, are you keeping up with AI? You know, AI is a good tool, but you don't want to replace that human person to help with that sales motion. So there's a lot of different tools, and SDRs aren't dead, and sales is not dead, and all that jazz that you hear all the time. But you've got to understand the sales process is completely different than it was 3 years ago, 10 years ago. It's a different motion nowadays depending on who you're buying into. Uh, can be 8 to 10 salespeople or buying committee. So like, for instance, even my small company that I used to work at, it was only 300 people, but we would have to have 9 people sign off on the product for me to buy the product. So that's a lot, a lot of yeses you have to get through.
And what's your, what's your ICP?
My ICTP is for 2, for 2 motions. It's for people who want to get into tech sales, want to learn how to be an SDR and everything. Um, so that's the first one. And then the second one is startups, people who need help defining their go-to-market plan.
And do you get into doing the strategy and the execution or building the strategy as Mostly, and then consulting and everything.
I can do some of the execution, but I am not an architect when it comes to Salesforce and HubSpot and everything. I do know how to build dashboards and reports and all that fun stuff, but actually the back end of it, I am not that person.
How do you charge for your services?
It's consulting. Um, so first thing I do is actually sit down with you and uncover what the actual needs— it all depends on the product, the project And differently, and then for the signal piece of it, for the SDR, that actually is an 8-week training program.
And what is that range for the SDR training program?
Yeah, for between $500 to $2,000, depending on the package that you get.
Not per HUD, but per training?
Per person, yes.
Okay. And you're based in Winter Haven, Florida?
I'm in Winter Haven, in between Tampa and Orlando. Yes.
Okay. Is there a particular, um, country that you work with more than the others? Is it, is it strictly like Florida or US or—
No, I'm able to do global. I actually had someone reach out to me, uh, today from India. Uh, so, you know, I definitely am used to a global presence and I'm willing to work with anyone who needs help.
Well, cool. I appreciate you making time for me. What's the best way to get ahold of you, Amber?
Yeah, you can go to my website, vorabound.com, or you can reach out to me on LinkedIn, Amber Seales, and I'll be glad to, you know, talk to you and see how I can help you.
