In this Daily Ad Brief interview, host Jennifer Filson talks with Michael Falato, founder of Full Throttle Falato Leads, about his approach to B2B lead generation using LinkedIn and email automation. Falato explains that many companies waste time hunting for top‑of‑funnel leads and damage their email domains by using standard CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) for mass outreach. He describes a scalable, repeatable system that safely sends high‑volume LinkedIn messages and emails without harming deliverability. Falato also emphasizes the importance of emotionally‑driven, Challenger‑style messaging that focuses on the prospect’s needs, ROI, and urgency, and he recommends embedding Calendly links to streamline meeting scheduling. The conversation wraps with a reminder that brands must build community or risk becoming commodities. The interview ends with a brief sponsored read for Simplify’s addressable CTV solution.

Hi everybody, welcome to Daily Ad Brief. I am your host, Jennifer Filson, here on Marketing and Beyond. And today I have with me Michael Filato of— this is the coolest name— Full Throttle Filato Leads. Welcome, Michael.
How you doing?
I am super. Tell us— oh hey, it's our pleasure. Tell us a little bit about your business and what you do.
Well, I basically do LinkedIn and email automation. I find that a lot of companies spend more time hunting, looking for leads, slowing their business cycle down because they're trying to close those leads, where they should have some sort of functionality in their company or outsourced to help find the hunting, which is find the top of funnel leads. Um, most of them don't do it in a safe way. They use like HubSpot or Salesforce, BarDo, or some sort of, um, system that will trickle out emails. But what happens is when they do it that way, they'll actually ruin their domain when you start sending out too, too many emails. Outlook, um, Office 365, Gmail are not made to do marketing emails. So That's kind of where I help approach. I kind of come up with a real-time, rinse and repeat, scalable, repeatable solution to send out enough emails, enough LinkedIn automation to drive meetings so that you could focus in on selling and closing and discovery, which is the more strategic approach versus pressing buttons all day trying to send one-to-one messaging.
Good to know. And so are you helping people craft the messages that go inside those automated emails? Or how do you do that part?
Yeah, that's, it's a great question. I mean, a lot of folks will take their marketing team, and I love marketing people, and say, here's the marketing emails I want you to use. We do this, we do this, here's our function, here's our feature. Who cares? What happens is you really want to understand why someone wants to get on a call with you, a Zoom call, a video call. The whole idea is to drive value make them answer. So what? Who cares? Why now? Is it an ROI? Fear of missing out. So the whole email approach, because there's tons of emails that go out, need to be more about your client, kind of like the Challenger Sales approach or Challenger Customer approach. You need to make it very emotionally driven so that they will basically book a meeting. I like to put a Calendly link inside of all the emails that I do. Hey, here's my 'Calendar,' or 'Please send me your calendar so we can maybe set up a time to see if there's even a good fit.' Do that little bit of a takeaway so you're not just saying, 'Hey, I really want to meet with you.' Well, your time's valuable too, so make sure that you kind of set a tone. Let's make sure there's a fit. And also, don't sell too much your company. Sell what you've done for other folks and make it about them.
That is excellent advice. My goodness, Michael, that is wonderful. Yes, be authentic, be yourself. What's in it for them. That's fantastic. Everyone, we have run out of time. Thank you so much for checking out today's interview with Michael Filato of Full Throttle Filato Leads. Please check him out on Daily Ad Brief. And remember this: if you're not building community around your brand, you are just a commodity. Thank you so much. We'll see you next time.
