I woke up from a 10-day coma with no memory. And here's the first thing I relearned about being alive. And I don't recommend learning it this way, by the way. So they told me my name, and I said, sure. My job, my goals, my whole identity were just gone. And you know the strangest part? I didn't miss any of it. And that scared me more than the coma itself. Because nobody tells you this about waking up. Being alive isn't about getting back to who you were. It's about finally asking yourself, what do I actually want? And you don't need a coma to ask yourself that question, but a lot of people wait for a wake-up call that never comes. And you're allowed to start before it does. So tell me in the comments below, if you would start over tomorrow, what's one thing you'd change?
