So first things first. I was gonna do a live stream episode last week on the 18th for the CA reveal. But then I realized that it was gonna be like midnight by the time it happened over here. So I never got around to it. Okay, 10:59, seven seconds to go. It's the first time I've ever stayed up for anything, so this better be worth it. Instead, I'm gonna do this video where I just kind of compile all my thoughts. I am not gonna post official pictures or anything like that because, you know, I'm kind of wary of copyright strikes and whatnot. I've seen a few channels get their stuff taken down or demonetized, and I just don't want to risk it. Most of you who watch this channel know that I love cars and I love racing in general. But more importantly, I'm a Corvette guy. I've owned two generations of Corvettes. And we're actually cruising around in my C7Z06 right now. The C8 reveal comes at a pretty interest because I'm actually thinking about trading in the Z06 next year for something a little different. You know, as much as I love this car, it feels like it's getting a little long in the tooth end. I've been aching for something a little bit more, dare I say, exotic. So I've had my eyes on the McLaren 570s because, well, it's at a really good price point used. I mean, it's got twin turbo V8 doors that go up. It's fast as hell. What's not to like? But then this mid engine Corvette came out and I was like, damn, that shit is hot. So, long story short, short, my love affair with McLaren might be over. I mean, it's nowhere near as exotic or as fast, but I mean, at half the price, can't really complain. It's a good value. But the problem with being half the price, though, is that you kind of.
