How Fast is a Stock 650HP Corvette C7 Z06 | The Benchmark of Speed - Sponsored by MotorEnvy

A man once said that sometimes you must sacrifice who you are for what you will become. It's been eight years. Eight long years. A lot has changed since those days. Cars are better, faster, louder. But some things never change. So where do we begin? The 2019 Corvette Z06. The standard of speed. Just how fast is it? 60 to 130. It'll tell you more about a car's raw performance in a straight line by dismissing the variable of a launch. The only thing you have to consider is is having a flat road. The Corvette Z06 is the pinnacle of American performance cars. Its value is unparalleled. There's no denying that. I missed my manual Z06. The truth is this automatic, it's the faster car. The speed of the gear changes, the shorter ratios and the consistency of never missing a shift, they all count for something. And I want to know just how much. All right, enough talk. Let's get this party started. It's. The fastest. Time was 7.84 seconds, which is a tenth of a second quicker to 130 than the manual Z06. What's impressive is the 40 to 100 time of 4.5 seconds. Seconds. That's a full second faster. So on paper the Z06 is faster from a roll than a 911 Turbo, the Nissan GT R and a 707 horsepower Hellcat. But it still can't beat a Viper. Let's see how she does with some bolt ons.
