A single-speaker YouTube acceleration test and review of the Lexus GS F. The speaker summarizes vehicle specs (467 hp, torque-vectoring differential, ~100 lb heavier than RC F), runs acceleration tests (reports 40–100 in 7.44 s), compares results to rivals (Mustang GT, Focus RS, AMG/Corvette mentions), and comments on shift behavior and value (price premium).

This is the Lexus GS F. It's got the same 467 horsepower engine as its little brother the RC F. But it's got two extra doors, a torque vectoring differential and 100 pounds of added weight. And somehow that all chalks up to an extra 20 grand premium on an already pricey $65,000 coupe. I don't know if it's worth it, but that's a conversation for another time. Today I'm going to find out how fast this car. In my opinion, this car doesn't really look that interesting. But we're not holding a beauty contest here. This thing makes around the same power as a 2018 Mustang GT. So I'm going to expect it to put down similar times of around 7 seconds. Hopefully it's faster than the stage 2 Focus RS. Alright, let's put into Sport plus and go into full manual and see what this thing does. I like that limiter bounce. This car does sound pretty good once you get into it. Okay, not bad at all. Let's give Full Auto a shot. Interesting. The car shifts earlier at 7,000 rpm and then goes into fourth right before 100 mph. That probably hurt the time a little bit. Normally with these newer automatics the computer is programmed to shift at the best points. But I'm not so sure about this one. Let's see exactly what this thing put down through our V box. That's not too shabby. Looks like shifting the car manually was consistently faster than Full Auto. That fourth gear shift definitely had something to do with it though. So the Lexus GSF did 40 to 100 in 7.44 seconds. I was right. Just a bit slower than the Mustang gt but still pretty fast for a four door sedan. Now I want to see what its competition can put down. I think this board needs some love from amg. Let's see what this thing does. Uh oh. We got a Corvette behind us. Could be a problem. Oh boy. Uh oh. Uh o get a little heated, show him who's got more horsepower, which I think I might have more horsepower than him.
