A short first-person account (by Mick Hunt) describing a two-week period of repeatedly dreaming a character, then unexpectedly being invited to audition for that same character after his wife attends a women’s tea. Despite reluctance toward Hollywood, he follows what he interprets as the Holy Spirit’s instruction to attend and experiences the audition unfolding miraculously, realizing the dream matched the role.

God was giving me this dream of this character, and I thought he wanted me to write it. So I'm writing it down. I'm writing it down. Every night I'm having the same dream. And a week goes by, my wife gets invited to this woman's tea. You know, woman's tea. We don't know what that's all about. So she goes and she comes back and says, oh, what that was about? They want you to come and audition for this role in this movie. And I'm keeping the story short. So I'm like. I'm thinking Hollywood. And I'm thinking, I am not going back to that. And so another week goes by. I'm having the same dream, writing this character. And at the end of the second week, the Holy Spirit says, it's me. I want you to go to this one. And I hate auditioning. I don't want no parts of Hollywood. But out of obedience to God, I go and I watch God do things for me in this audition that I've never done before. It's like I'm watching the video, I'm in this thing, and I'm watching this whole thing happen. It turns out that the character that God was showing me at night dreaming for two weeks was a character that I was auditioning for. Wow.
