Mike Austin (speaker) describes using AI to analyze COBOL (noted as "cobalt" in transcript) code: have AI explain what legacy code does, then rewrite the business functionality into a newer language as an example of content generation for modernizing legacy systems.

I know. For instance, you know, there's a lot of talk about, you know, say, cobalt developers that are still needed in the marketplace. There are none, you know, potentially using AI as cobalt developers. Definitely some, you know, you want to make sure there's some concern, you know, things done there. But good example of where AI would play there is you take Cobalt code and put it into AI and have AI tell you what that code's doing, and then have it rewrite that code in something newer. So look at the business functionality and then rewrite that business functionality in newer code. That's an example of content generation, in my opinion.
