Exciting Treasury Manager Opportunity in Houston | Treasury Recruitment Compan

Mike Richards from a treasury recruitment company describes a treasury manager opening in Houston. The role covers standard treasury responsibilities in a professional working environment. Richards outlines the qualifications needed to apply.
Hello, Mike Richards here from the treasury recruitment company behind me. As you can see over here, one of Houston's well known murals. A reminder the city is full of energy and life and you're going to enjoy it because I've got a great treasury manager role to share with you. Fantastic role. We'll get one thing out of the way though straight away. It's five days a week in the office but there are some really great reasons for that because you're right at the heart of things. But we'll get back onto that in a moment. Firstly, the role itself. You will be the in house treasury lead for a growing and energy investment platform based right in Houston on the west side. Actually backed by a global group with active investments across the us, Latin America and Middle East. You'll handle the usual day to day treasury stuff. So you've got day to day cash management, foreign exchange forecasting, liquidity and cross border funding for all live deals. You will work directly with dotted line into the CFO in Houston, but supported by and reporting to the New York based treasurer. So it's a great role. You're getting some really great exposure and that's part of it. This is one of the reasons why they want you in the office because you're going to work with all those guys there and be a critical part of the office. You're going to be working with the business. This business moves quickly. Funding requirements, suddenly they're going to do a deal. So just yeah, you can't suddenly do that over zoom. You're going to need to be there. Capital needs to move, you need to be physically close, you need to go to the cfo, you need to go work with the deal team. They also want this person to actually work closely with the deal team to be their advisor if you like. That level of responsiveness doesn't happen remotely or that can be a challenge. So that's why they want to be. There's a really nice office atmosphere so you could take a lead, give them clarity and act decisively. That's one of the key things. So the treasury here is strategic, fast paced and it's going to work if you're present there, engaged with the team, helping those guys. Other things, what they're looking for, they are looking for at least eight years corporate treasury expertise. Now they do want some exposure to oil and gas and or energy because that level of familiarity is going to help. So if you've got that, then apply for the job. Just down below you'll be able to see it. They want someone who's confident, commercially aware and calm under pressure. There's no place for big egos here. Just know someone who knows how to deliver work very well with all Treasury. Be the treasury expert, as I say, but for the right person, this is the right role for you. Depends on your experience. If you're interested, contact me, give you more information about the salary package and everything else. I'll be contacting you if I think it's actually going to be a fit for yourself. So there's a great base salary package, good bonus, great other benefits, really nice office atmosphere. If it sounds like something you're interested in, let's have a conversation about being treasury manager within Houston or senior treasury manager. Let's talk about it. All right. Thanks very much.
