This is a YouTube video titled "Forrest Cebold - Building Strong Professional Networks" containing a monologue by Forrest Cebold recorded on August 21, 2023. The content focuses on strategies for maintaining professional relationships through regular, balanced communication tailored to individual preferences.
First of all, I think you have to make it regular. Right. You can't just contact them when you need them or when you want to talk to them. Reach out on a quarterly basis or semi annual basis and you can't have to manage that. Right. Anything else. You don't want to bug them every month because then it's okay. This guy's just here to try to build his network and things like that. You want to make it a little more of a relationship focus so you reach out periodically. And I don't know what that is. In other words, that you can say, oh, contact every quarter. I. It's not every month, but it's not every two or three years either. It's something less than that. Balance. Yeah. And everybody has to be. Everybody likes to be contacted in a different way. Some people don't mind a phone call. Some people hate phone calls. A text or some people an email. I think you kind of have to kind of read the person to see how they like to be. How I like to. They like to communicate with you. Everybody's a little different. But again, look for cues that they locate some people. Boy, I'm just not going to respond to a text.
