In this video, Mike Richards presents a senior treasury manager position for a private‑equity‑backed global manufacturing company. Based in Atlanta, the role spans the United States and Europe and leads a small international treasury team. It combines hands‑on liquidity, cash‑flow, and treasury‑operations responsibilities with strategic influence over how treasury supports the broader business. The manager will partner directly with the CFO, treasurer, and FP&A, improve cash‑forecasting and visibility, drive bank rationalization and process improvements, and help shape operational decisions related to raw‑material volatility. The role is hybrid, offers relocation support, and is pitched to senior treasury professionals seeking greater influence and direct reporting to the treasurer.

Hello, it's Mike Richards here. I wanted to tell you a bit more about this role, Senior Treasury Manager with one of my clients. It's a little bit different. It's not just running day-to-day cash, sending reports. This is a role that's going to really influence the business because you're, it's a, it's a leadership role if you like, based in Atlanta, but it actually covers the US and Europe globally and leads a small international team. You're going to make your own liquidity. Cash flow and treasury operations. So you're going to get the whole range of things. But also, one of the key things about the role, you're going to influence how treasury interfaces with and supports the wider business. So you're going to get in there, you're going to be working with the CFO, the treasurer, different parts, FP&A. So you're really going to be sticking everything together and working together. So it's not just day-to-day ops and everything else. You're going to be looking at how you can improve things. They're going to take a step back, right? This is what we're currently doing. Is this right? We might change things. Do we need to change systems? One of the key deliverables for this business, because they're private equity backed as well, is cash forecasting, cash visibility. How do we do that? So you're going to be expected to improve those things, not someone else. You're going to take responsibility for it. So really interesting role. Other things about it. Global manufacturing business. So that brings with it operational challenges. It's complex. The forecasting you do isn't just pie in the sky, it's real numbers. So you're looking at raw materials, real-world volatility happening a lot at the moment as well. So this is going to lead you to be doing operational decisions, working hand in hand with the treasurer. So that's one of the key things. Talked about the partnering, but this means that treasury actually gets a seat at the table where you're working hand in hand with those guys, say, look, this is what we need to do, guys, you need to be talking to us. We need to be helping you before you decide to enter into that contract. Come and talk to us. We can help you. So it's very much business-facing and focused, if you like, talking to those guys. So other things, bank rationalization, process improvements, we talked about that. You're building, not just maintaining something that's a status quo. Leading the teams based in Atlanta, but it is a hybrid role. The other things about it, relocation support is available. So if you are thinking, actually, that sounds a great role, that's what I want to do, and I want to move to Atlanta, and I'll be up for that, then actually they will try and support those where they can. So if you're already a senior treasury manager, but you're just keeping the lights on where you are doing day-to-day stuff and you want more influence, and reporting directly into the treasurer, this is the role for you.
