This is a YouTube video titled "The Global Treasury Recruitment Pipeline Doesn't Exist" created in November 2020. It features a monologue by Mike from a treasury recruitment company discussing the challenges and misconceptions around global treasury recruitment pipelines. He explains that while global movement of treasury professionals is limited due to sponsorship and visa restrictions, local movement within countries or regions is possible. The video aims to provide advice and support for treasury professionals seeking job opportunities internationally.
Foreign. Hi, guys. Mike from the treasury recruitment company here. This video accompanies the article. The Global treasury recruitment pipeline and why it doesn't exist. Why it's a fallacy. I don't think it's ever existed and it's very frustrating. I've been told about this, where people move around the world and this doesn't exist. So I get calls, emails, CVs every week, every day, in fact, from candidates from across the world wanting to move across continents to find a new job. Now, they are international treasury professionals with international treasury skills and finance experience. I've got international finance skills, Mike, and I can make a move. I understand about the US and into Europe and Europe into the US and Latin America. I understand about all these currencies. I can make that move. It doesn't work. I'm here to tell you it's not true. Does it mean you have to stay and only work in your own country? No, it doesn't. What I say at the end of this article is you'll see that there is a. I said there's a global pipeline that doesn't exist because you can't move people around the world unless you are sponsored by your own employer, a very large employer at that, probably. But a local pipeline does exist. That's the good news. Now, it means if you work in the us, you work anywhere across the US or Canada, if you're in Latin America, it's developing region, there are different countries as economies grow. You can move around in the UK currently, and I still think in the future you will be able to move from the UK into mainland Europe and mainland Europe back into the uk. There'll be more red tape to go through with Brexit and everything else, but you'll still be able to move if you've got highly skilled, if you're highly skilled, if you're in treasury, for instance. But there are local pipelines that do exist, so within country you can move, but across some continents global pipelines don't exist and we will be able to represent you, help you, as long as you have the right to work in the relevant country. So if you're in the UK and Europe and you have a visa, you have a work visa, we can help you. If you're in the US and you write to work in the us, the green card, if you like, we can help you. If you're in one of the other countries and you have the right to work in that country, we can help you. If you don't, we can't get you sponsorship it work, but please do send us details if you want us to try and give you some help. We're going to try and assess your situation and we can go from there and give you the best advice we can. Thanks for your time today.
