You might be very good at your job. You might be a great treasury professional, but that doesn't mean to say you're the only treasury professional. There may be other people. If you're in an interview process, there'll be other people against you. Maybe they're not better than you and you are good enough, but it means that you have to move quicker than them. You must be more open to an opportunity. Otherwise, you're going to miss out on the opportunity. This comes from a discussion I had with Katie about a mistake one of her candidates recently made. Because they said, or they thought, the opportunity was going to wait for them. The company will just wait for them. I can tell you it won't. So let's tell you about Katie's story. It's more of an example, and I just had it with a client today. Katie came to me, said, look, I've got this really good candidate for this role. And he said to me, I've got 2 or 3 roles, maybe I'll go for it, maybe I won't, I'm not sure. Let me come back to you in a week or so, a couple of weeks. And so he did. He came back and said, yeah, I'm interested now. Yeah, we actually don't think he had those opportunities. It was a bit difficult because he said he was considering other offers. He lost out because he wasn't sitting on multiple offers. I think he was trying to say he was in demand because they were also already progressing with other candidates as well. I've had this conversation a number of times where that candidate then says, Mike Richards, I'd like to move forward. I have to say, look, I'm sorry, the role's already gone. What do you mean it's already gone? Whether you were checking and whether you were interested. Somebody else decided they were. We put them forward for the role. They've been offered and they've accepted. They just move quicker. You're not the only candidate in the process. I'm not saying rush into a role, but ask questions, Think clearly, but don't assume the market revolves around your timeline. You can quickly assess a company and they can assess you as well. And if you need advice, that's why we're there, because you can ask us. Because the right opportunity is not going to wait around. If you want a good role, come to us, talk to us, we'll give you some advice. And we'll help you. Don't just think the market's going to wait for you. It won't.
