The events feature round-table discussions with senior treasurers and an "Ask the Treasurer" session for analysts and managers, designed for learning and relationship-building, not sales. As you can see here in London, back here in November, actually, before then, we've got 3 amazing events. We've got Chicago, New York, and we've got lots of other events, Barcelona, Eurofinance and things. Why? I got asked in this week's newsletter, why bother? Why do we do it? I realize that you guys as treasury folk love to learn from each other. You want honest questions. Great relationships in the room, not a sales pitch. A lot of the other events, it seems, are very much more, how do we sell to treasurers? But you didn't. You wanted to actually see each other, talk about your career development, maybe talk about technology, talk about all those different things. The best bit was, I thought, right, we can do this. Let's get you guys in a room. It started way back when, did the one, an event in Luxembourg, Now it's grown and grown. Now our events, we start with round tables with treasurers, getting 30, 36 of you previously in London, about 40 of you in New York. Then I thought, hang on, at the end of the evening I noticed there were some badges left from the Treasury Analysts and Managers. I thought, let's create something for you guys. So we do Ask the Treasurer, where you get to ask treasurers about how they got to their careers between 5 and 6 PM. Then we do our actual panel, 6:30, 7:30, and you get to listen to very successful treasurers talking about their treasury careers. So that's why we bother, to help you guys with your treasury careers, to help you decide what you should be doing and developing your careers. And it's free.
