AI Business Reinvention: Unlock Your Superpower FAST!

Recorded presentation by Mike Koenigs about reinventing businesses and personal brands using AI. He demonstrates a rapid-branding workflow (including a 100% synthetic video for his wife Vivian Glick) and presents a Six M's framework (Mindset, Market, Model, Message, Media, Multipliers) plus concrete campaign/playbook examples (Superpower Accelerator, Thousand-Dollar Cup of Coffee) and numerous client case studies. Emphasis: speed-to-market with AI, building category-one personal brands, and practical offers for high-net, coachable founders.
Chapters
Gentleman who's a dear friend of mine, he's helped me immensely and he's been a consultant to some of the biggest companies in the world. Here's a guy that started literally from nothing, but back in the early days of the web, he was already the guy that was, you know, writing some of the first CD ROM games, did some of the first Mac games that existed, went out and became the guy that set up all those initial websites for Sony and for Columbia, Tristar, for Fox. The guy that's managed or helped some of the largest business in the world, 3M Domino's Pizza. But he's also showing people how to get started for nothing. And I know that's what he's probably most proud of.
If you know that there's a next level for you and your business and if you know that there's a creative.
Upper limit that is calling you, but you're stuck in the day to day working in instead of on your business.
You need to accelerate your superpower. Add +AI + adderall equals the ultimate capability amplifier. Prior to this, we didn't have the tools, we didn't have the time. It frees us from so many limitations because you can have it do an enormous amount of research quickly. This is a time machine for people who are curious and expansive minded. I think it's a great time to be alive and completely reinvent and rethink everything you do. Mend the nets, compress the spring and rethink who you are and what you want to be.
And ask yourself out there, how many lost opportunities and time will you miss if you hesitate and what happens to you while your competition takes action before you do? And I believe it's your turn, it's your time.
Grow your business and turn your unique superpower into category of one brand.
Okay, well, thank you again for being here. This has unlock your greatest superpower and become a category one brand. I'm going to begin today with a little story. And I have not ever told this story publicly before, but it is, I think super relevant to reinvention. And it's a story about my number one fan and harshest critic, my wife. Her name is Vivian Glick and this year she asked for something for the holidays and for her birthday. She has a December birthday. That by the way is my wife Vivian. On the right, that's my son Zach. Just to give you a little backgrounder on my wife, she has been on the ground doing work as a humanitarian in Uganda and most recently in India. She just got back from India a couple weeks ago. And she grew up in poverty in New York. Her parents are Holocaust survivors, and her work on the ground is with something called the Just Like My Child Foundation. And it's all about helping young girls recover and deal with basically being sex trafficked soldiers, forced child marriage, early child marriage, and she was beaten and molested as a child. So she intimately knows what this is like. And.
She also has an interesting background because for years she was director of marketing for Deepak Chopra. She worked in integrative health care, healthcare, and as she built the Just Like My Child foundation, she of course started connecting with quite a few celebrities and raising money on an ongoing basis. And we developed lots and lots of resources to develop millions of dollars or generate millions of dollars that went on the ground. So here's where things get interesting. When I asked her, you know, what do you want to do? And what I didn't share so far is during the lockdown, my son started suffering from anxiety, depression. Like most kids, he did not have a junior year of high school or a senior year of high school, and it turned into addiction as well. So I often say that one of the biggest challenges we have in our world today is our children's mental health. And, well, the bottom line is he ended up going to treatment. So after a year of sobriety.
My wife and I did a podcast. And she said, I want to reinvent myself. And I said, well, what do you want to do specifically? And she said, I want to develop a platform to focus on mental health with children worldwide, not just young girls in developing worlds. So what I'm going to play for you is the very first part of the first episode of a podcast, so you'll kind of get a sense of what it's about. And. And I'm gonna make this relevant to you because, again, my guess is you're here because you wanna reinvent yourself, find a way to create reach and connection with the world. And that's really ultimately what she wants to do, too. So this is just the very first part of the podcast that we shot recently. Let me just play the first part.
You're a bad mom. I am a bad mom. So this is our first episode, your first episode of the Bad mom podcast. And you said something really, really good in the kitchen the other day about giving yourself permission to heal. So what is this show all about and why are you doing it? Yeah, so I am a bad mom. And I know that there are an awful lot of bad moms out there, and we feel that we all Feel the same way. Parenting is like the most gargantuan job that we can possibly have, and we put our whole hearts into it. We do everything that we think is right. And what I really want to talk about is what is going on in the world with regards to mental health, young adults, adolescents. What is this cauldron of different, different items that go into the pot that is just creating. Okay, so you get the sense of this. I hope. Bottom line is, after looking at this, what she really needed clarity on is like, what does my next act look like? And historically, building a brand, building a platform, whether it's a personal platform, whether it's a business brand, is hard work. It takes years. It is exceptional. And of course, I have been looking for shortcuts my whole life. What I'm about to show you right now, just to jumpstart this is what we did, is I took just the copy from this podcast episode, which hasn't even been released yet. You're the first to ever see hasn't been announced outside of this. I took that transcript. I also took some of the copy from her websites and I fed it into ChatGPT. And I used a tool called invideo. And what you're about to see right now is a video that is 100% synthetic. This technology has gotten so good just in the past couple weeks. You're going to see a character that looks somewhat like my. Like my wife, because it did research on her. You'll see that logos show up, identities. In fact, some of the footage, it looks so real. Again, the voice, the audio, the music is 100% synthetic. And what I want you to really realize is in about 45 minutes, I built all of this and a brand around this idea that she wants to release. And what's happening is in a couple hours, she's actually going to be shooting the official video for this. But it inspired her to move forward and get perfect clarity. And that is the big takeaway I hope you see from this is AI is the most amazing creative first draft partner that you can work with to build brands. Part of what I'm going to share with you today are what are the individual components that make that happen? So let me play this synthetic video for you right now about my wife, Vivian Glick.
Hello, I'm Vivian Glick, a mom, a humanitarian, and the founder of the Just Like My Child Foundation. My journey began with the fierce love and fear only a mother can know. When my son Zach was born in 2002, he spent his first days in a neonatal ICU with a collapsed lung. I remember hobbling down the hospital hallway, refusing to be separated from my baby. Thankfully, he recovered. But that scare opened my eyes to how fragile a child's life can be.
A few years later, I suffered two miscarriages in two years. I was heartbroken and asked for asking myself, what do I do now? What is the next right thing for me? An inner voice answered, I don't want just one more child. I want 10,000 kids. That sounded crazy. I barely knew what it meant. But it was the birth of my true calling.
Becoming a mother had opened my heart not just to my own child, but to children everywhere. I realized that every child does not deserves the love and safety I wanted for mine, and I was determined to make a difference.
In 2006, I took a leap of faith and founded the Just Like My Child Foundation. Every 30 seconds, a child in Africa was dying from something as preventable as malaria. People thought I was crazy when I first flew to Uganda, but I went anyway.
I saw the struggles of mothers and kids there.
We helped build a hospital and launched schools and scholarships and created the Girl power project, registered trademark. Empowering adolescent girls our programs have touched more than 400,000 lives across three continents. It humbles me every day, and it also fuels me.
Today, our children face a new kind of threat, one that isn't as visible as malaria or poverty, but is just as urgent. I'm talking about the adolescent mental health crisis. After years of focusing on keeping kids healthy and in school, I saw that mental well being was the next battlefield we had to face. The numbers don't lie, and they break my heart. In the United States, about 1 in 5 teenagers has suffered from a major depressive episode in the past year. Nearly half of all adolescents will experience a mental health disorder at some point in their young lives. Globally, the crisis is just as alarming. One in seven adolescents worldwide is living with a diagnosed mental disorder. Anxiety and depression have become leading causes of illness among our youth. And tragically, suicide is now the second leading cause of death for teens and young adults in the U.S.
Think about that for a second. Our kids are struggling so much that many feel life is not worth living.
That's why, Just Like My Child, foundation is launching a new initiative focused squarely on adolescent mental health. We call it Project grit. Grit means courage and resolve, and that's exactly what we want to nurture in our young people. Project Grit builds on everything we've learned about empowering youth. Just as we gave girls in Uganda the knowledge and confidence to navigate adolescence. We now aim to give all young people the emotional tools and support to withstand life's challenges.
One of the ways I'm personally tackling this mental health crisis is through a new project that's very close to my heart. The Bad Mom Podcast. Now, don't let the name fool you. It's a bit of tongue in cheek humor for a very serious purpose. How many of us, as parents, have quietly asked ourselves, am I a bad mom when our child is struggling? On the podcast, we put it all on the table. The anxiety, the depression, the impact of social media, the pressures of school, all the things that keep us up at night worrying about our children.
My journey from that hospital, NICU with my newborn son to villages in Uganda, to launching a podcast from my home has taught me one profound truth. Every child is just like my child. Every young person, no matter where they live, deserves to feel safe, loved, and hopeful about their future. Every parent deserves support, not judgment, when facing a child's struggles. So I invite you to join me. Join me in empowering our youth with education, with healthcare, with grit and resilience. Thank you for listening to my story. It's not just my story. It's our story as mothers, fathers, and supporters of the next generation.
All right, well, that, as I said, was 100% synthetic. And if I asked you this question right now, imagine if you had to take your life story, all of your experience, and craft a sizzle reel that summed it up, that gave you focus and direction. Write the script, shoot the video, edit it. How much time and how much money do you think it would cost you to do something like that? And seriously, type it into chat right now, because I always like to see what the reactions are. And just so you know, the tool that was used is something called Invideo. I have the paid plan. I added something called Generative Media. So it's several hundred dollars a month, but, yeah, there we go. Lisa Murphy just said, that is amazing. Hundreds of hours, at least $100,000. As I said, there we go. Carrie said $50,000. Kurt said $100,000. Mary said five to $10,000. And I'm going to tell you, that wouldn't be true. That is easily a 20 to $100,000 project. Again, I didn't write it. I just coached the AI to get there. So I just want to put that in a box right now. We're going to move on, because my goal, again, is to share with you the biggest tools that I've found after reinventing and creating over a hundred businesses and brands over the past six years. And let's begin with what I think is most important to focus on right now. Which are what are the two hardest things in the world to get? I'd be very curious what you would type into chat right now. The two hardest things in the world to get.
Steve has it. Great response. There we go. Lisa said attention. So check this out. A study by Microsoft. Now I used to show this on stage years ago and it's more relevant now than ever before. A study by Microsoft published in Time magazine reported that in the year 2000 the average attention span had dropped from 12 seconds to 8 seconds. A goldfish has a 9 second attention span. And TikTok and Tinder, turn that into three seconds. Ask your kids, okay, Observe children, observe most adults, okay, Attention is the most expensive thing you can get and trust is the second. Now if there's one thing we've learned over the past year, when you look at the political situation, the media situation, there is no faith in trust in government or in media any longer. If anything you can witness from the last election, it was Barron Trump who told Donald Trump to get on podcasts, get on Joe Rogan. It is my strong opinion that is part of what flipped the political situation. It is long form content. The Joe rogan podcast averages 11 million viewers and listeners per episode, which is greater than every cable news show. The Trump episode was seen 26 million times in 24 hours. And the number that I have up here is the average individual right now spends 7 hours 28 minutes researching before they make a buying decision and using AI. And I'm curious from your point of view, does that feel true to you? How much time, where do you go to actually get informed? Who do you trust? So the world in my opinion, especially in an AI influenced world, is that thought, leader, positioning, authority and prestige and mystique, credibility and influence. It is an all time premium right now and attention is hard to get.
So part of what I want to share with you right now are some of my predictions for the immediate and also long term future. I'm going to say for the next three years I'll go out on a limb and I'll show you why I believe this to be true. Before I show that to you, I'm going to take you on a little journey I haven't done in a long time. So you know a little bit of my background which is I grew up in a very small town in a tiny in Eagle Lake, Minnesota. I started coding when I was 14 years old. So I do have a technical background. I started consulting when I was 16. I started business. It was one of the first digital marketing agencies called Digital Cafe with a business partner. In 1989 we sold it to the Interpublic Group publicly traded company in 1999 I went on to make a feature film with my business partner. And then in around in the early days of the Internet from 9799 I started doing information products, studying direct response marketing. And my first product was called the Internet Infomercial Toolkit. We launched that before there was a YouTube. So it was back when it cost a lot of money to host video. And I also made another information product called Everything youg Should Know About Publishing, Publicity and Building a Platform with one of the world's most famous publicist, Ariel Ford. And then traffic guys are an instant customer. From about 2005, we sold it in 2017.
To an investment bank. Again, it was just an extension of using video marketing. And then we created you everywhere. Now where we helped many people launch books, we almost published 2,000 business owners and founders helping them speak sell. But all of this ultimately was about creating a platform. And then when I sold the businesses, I started the current business which is called the Superpower Accelerator. And about a little over two years ago started doing AI. So I'm sharing all this with you because I at least wanted to establish. I've had a tendency to be ahead of the curve in terms of technology and marketing. And this isn't to toot my own horn, but it's easy to look at the history. So the other thing I've always been fascinated with is celebrity and platform. In other words, how do you get attention? How do you hold onto it? What makes someone more attractive and more mysterious than someone else and then later on doing that for other business owners building platforms. And we've now created well over 100 new businesses, oftentimes from scratch over the past six years. We charge into the high six figures to do that. So that leads us to this year's marketing trends and predictions before we get into the pieces and parts. Number one, AI is disrupting everything more than I think people realize. And what I think is most important is speed to market innovation and iteration, meaning what you witnessed at the very beginning today as I showed you how I built this mini platform around my wife, the core of it, in less than an hour, something that would have taken weeks or months of time to do an enormous amount of breakneck work. AI allows you to build something and make it real, really really fast. I also believe that traditional linear education is dead. I think colleges and traditional schools are rendering themselves kind of meaningless. That could be scary, but it means we can learn so fast with the assistance of AI. And if you haven't heard about AI agents, the bottom line is just imagine being able to have something that acts as your personal secretary 24 7, like the movie her with Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson years ago. It's a lot closer than I think we realize. And when you look at like what matters in the future because it's so easy to make something and make it real, protecting your IP with trademarks and patents are more important than ever before. But the most important thing of all is this. Whoever creates and hits the market first will win. And you can make iterate and innovate so rapidly. And I also think the birth of the clear collar worker is upon us. Basically what I mean by that, it's a phrase I termed we've had blue collar. We all know what that is. We know what white collar is. The clear collar worker is an AI assisted worker. And also I believe the future is in mentoring young people and apprenticing them. And we don't need college anymore because he can jump right in and have access to the entire base of knowledge of the human race. So that leads us to personal brands. They matter more. Steve Jobs has been dead for a long time. Apple is worth over $4 trillion. And everyone knows who started Apple. But very rarely will anyone ever know who the CEO is of the car they drive or the phone service they use. Unless it's Elon Musk. And whether you love him or hate him, I believe he'll be the first trillionaire. So now we live in the days of authority, thought leadership and celebrity. Intimacy matters most. I think we're going to see a huge resurgence. Back to that. And coaching of all sorts is about human experiences, AI assisted, perhaps. And stories sell. They always have, they always will. Where I believe the money is and the opportunity and how to get it is in combining your greatest superpower, packaging it with a platform. And the money is all about being able to be first to market. And that's what today is all about, is what's the fastest way to collapse trust and create speed to market. So part of what I'm going to share with you today is the six steps to six, seven, eight, nine figure offers, all of which we've been actively involved in and we do on a regular basis. We have a client right now who's raising $150 million from a business that we built with them. It's how to become a thought leader or go to expert in any market or industry, how to create platforms of reach and relevance, how to use AI to mind read markets and prospects. It's something I'm really excited about. I'll tell you about that and then I'm going to share with you what is our best converting high ticket offer. Because one of the promises we made to you today is not only how to create these big ticket offers and identify your unique superpower, but also how to engage an audience and, and get paid for who you are. And again at the towards the end, I'm going to show you what I would consider one of our best offers we've ever made. So one more qualifier before we get into the meat here. This is who I designed this presentation for and it's a who are you? And I'm going to be very curious if you'd say I'm a one, two or three or a mix of them. So pay close attention. So one is you're ready for your next stack or you've had a successful exit. You're in transition and you're driven by impact, lifestyle and legacy and you want to build something aligned with your superpower, which is my definition, is high net, low overhead, lifestyle compatible. But you need help turning that vision into reality. Okay, so next number two, you need a powerful upgrade and that is usually because your business is solid. But you're ready for more. You want higher prices, better conversions, smarter automation, more AI integration. You want to scale with superior offerings and systems. But you've probably spent a lot of time and money trying to get there and you don't have, you don't have as much to show for it or you're wondering like what is wrong. It's usually stuck ism at work. Okay. Or number three, you want undeniable authority, access and reach. And to me we get a lot of people who are jealous lovers. They're frustrated because they've been watching someone else with stronger brands win deals that you deserve. And you're looking for a category one platform that showcases your value and expertise. So if you looked at those right now, where do you think you stand? I'd like to see it in chat. Are you a one, two or three? Number one reinvention in transition. Recent sale Number two, looking for an upgrade or number three, the platform. And for all of them, I think number one and number two, always involve a platform, whether it's for your business or for you. This is great. I'm seeing a great, great.
Selection of all of them. Patty, Thor, it's nice to see you in here today. So I've already told you about me again. That's my wife, my son Zach. I've been married 23 years. I'm a dad. I'm a stage three cancer survivor. I had colorectal cancer about 12 years ago. Going on 13, built and sold five companies, written 19 books, podcaster and speaker and I live in San Diego. We're spending more and more of our time in Mexico and Malaga, Spain. And we've applied to become EU citizens recently as well. We consider ourselves international citizens. I love America. I also love the rest of the world. So my team who's here today, I already told you about. Abby Bassnight, Chief of Staff Lori Hull, my executive assistant of many years. Aaron Biblo, Director of Client Experience. If you have any questions, reach out to him or for any reason you just want to start on your path of creating your next act, reach out to him. He's here. And Scott Co Norton, he is the guy who's been writing all the copy that you're seeing. Director of Marketing. So let's get into it. The main thing here is to me, a Category 1 brand by definition means you're the best, you're the only and the most expensive. And that is what you should seek to become.
I'm going to introduce you now to something I wrote about in my book youk Next Act. I'm curious by the way in chat who's written your next act or Reddit rather. If you've read your next act or listened to the audiobook, let me know. I'm going to give you a free copy of both of them today. But this is the way the six M's work. Gayle Kingsbury's here. Hi Gail, I love you. Number one, it's your mindset, your non negotiable personal and brand values. Number two, the market. Who do you want to be a hero to? That is a Dan Sullivanism. Your model is your brand promise, your offer and how you make money. Your message, which is the story you tell to attract your perfect fit. Right fit market delivering the transformation. So they want to go on a journey with you and invest in your products and services. The media are the marketing channels and the multipliers are the strategies and tactics to get attention and get your foot in the door and and make people say yes. So I'm going to break down some case studies today that I think are very relevant to this. Some brand new ones and also I'm going to tear apart the components that make these work so well, including some brand new ones and the offers. So the mindset, first of all, I believe a great brand has a word or a phrase that is also a feeling. So when we worked with Justin Donald and developed his brand, the Lifestyle Investor, I met him on a trip in Fiji. We got to know each other and I asked him what he did. He said, I'm a cash flow investor. And I said, I don't know what that means. And he explained he had been generating passive income with his investments. We ended up creating a tagline, the ten commandments of Cash Flow Investing for passive income and financial freedom. And right before we made a podcast together, our first podcast, I said, Justin Donald's the Investment World's new Warren Buffett published that in Entrepreneur magazine. And now that's a hook he has for the rest of his life. The point of this is what he has is his central theme. His big promise is buying his time back. And he helped his wife quit her job by generating enough passive income to replace her income as a schoolteacher and then his as a sales director for Cutco Knives. And his mindset is living life by design and being able to buy his time back and be free. So this is another gentleman we worked with. I know him from strategic Coach. His name is Aaron Markham. He's been in the business of home care, built and sold, had an eight figure exit. He was ready for his next act, frustrated and he was like, what am I going to do next? So we looked at his history, all of his experiences and what led to his current state, and it all came down to mindsets. But he had a unique way of looking at things, which is, he calls it the Breakaway mindset, which became his brand.
So his secret to life and his from his point of view is having drafting partners. He also is a bike racer. And so when we created his brand and discovered his superpower, his unique superpower, just looking at his history, talking to him, Breakaway became a drafting partner. So he became your drafting partner. That's part of his big promise that ultimately became his offer as well. So I hope this is making sense. But over time, we've developed a series of AI prompts to dive deep into your history and be able to capture this and storytell, much like when I told you the story about Vivian so I could go on. I've got about a hundred of those, but at least wanted to give you a taste. Next is the market. Who do you want to be a hero to this is another tool. I got to give credit where credit is due. Dan Sullivan from Strategic Coach has been my coach. He's 80 years old now for almost 15 years, but he developed, he calls it a scorecard. This is an amazing tool. So if you look at the left, this is a low grade. You look at the right, that's a high grade. What I've found in working with high quality business owners, and I can guarantee you it will work for you too, is right fit customers fit this perfect profile. And I'm going to give you our perfect ideal customer profile that you can model for yourself. But if you can ask someone to self score, and on the left, someone who's transformational minded, constantly evolving, collaborative, has a mastery of self innovative, adaptive, empathic and freedom focused, I can assure you those will be the best customers you ever have. And being able to set a clear definition, if someone doesn't fit your mindset, you have to say no. And when you don't have cold clear boundaries in all of your marketing, you will not attract right fit people. And people want to believe you have a strong brand. Now this is our ICP ideal customer profile. AI will write this for you. If you don't have one for us. I only work with founders. I don't work with employees, okay? They have to be check writers, decision makers. My bias is towards B2B owners and founders who've got $5,000 and up offers and have 2 million and greater businesses. Because I found in the past, you may too, that unresourceful people remain unresourceful. They are not my ideal customer, or they've had a recent exit and want to reinvent. They're cash confident, meaning they have more money than time and they value time more than ever. In other words, you'll never drive 50 miles to save a nickel on a gallon of gasoline. Proven successes. It's hard to reinvent someone and create a great superpower brand without having history, a history of being coached and coachable. If you have to convince someone of that, they're a wrong fit. I found that belongers, people who already belong to other groups, are perfect fit. And they want to be a trusted authority with expert status. And you know already that a strong personal brand boosts value and pricing. You want to speak? This is another thing that Dan said once on one of our podcasts. Willing to blow up rockets, experiment, iterate and test to find breakthroughs. And if you're familiar with the Colby test, I found that eight to 10 quick starts, they make the fastest decisions. Fact Finders have to think about it. They have to go away. They have to talk to someone. They ask a million questions and sit and hesitate. I call it poopy diaper syndrome. Poopy diapers are not compatible with how we work. Now, again, you've got to find that for you as well. But the clearer and closer. This helps you create not only your model, but your message. So the model is how you make money. And, oh, by the way, all of these little animations, all these images, they're all AI generated, by the way.
All right, so what do you sell? I call this the Holy Trinity. Jokingly, I heard it described many years ago as get paid, get laid, live forever. But let me explain. If you look at just about any product or service that's ever been sold, it fits into one of four categories, three of which are germane to us today. It's making money. So using your product helps me make more money, becomes a money multiplier and takes away the risk. It increases status and authority, likability, lovability, being sexy, being wanted, being desired, perfumes, cars, jewelry.
Or health and lifestyle, you're boosting or increasing health. And the perfect scenario, the perfect offer, is selling a better life.
Now, the fourth category is entertainment. I think a great platform, a great brand, is entertaining. So here, let's break down a couple models that are really good. So the Justin Model, lifestyle investor. So part of the plan was, first of all, establishing status and credibility. I still am a firm believer in using books. They mean something. He ended up putting over 150 people in a $50,000 mastermind, creating a $250,000 coaching program. The business model generated over a million dollars in eight months, 5.5 million in less than 20 months, over seven and a half million in 2022. And it's continued to be over eight figures from 2023 on. So this is a coaching model. The big promise is get in here and I'm going to show you how to generate passive income like me and think like I do and negotiate. And he effectively puts people in front of great deals. Really, really smart business model. And now he's got a youth program, he's got a licensing program beyond that, and also a 10x increase in net worth. So that's a traditional coaching model. This one is particularly interesting. So I want you to think about this. If you are in a competitive environment and in a place where someone else has to get permission in order to buy your product or service. So Connie Wittek is her name. She was an interior designer and one bad thing about interior designers about them is they are effectively line items for an architect. So we just simply reframed what we called her and how she prevented herself to the authority and Elder Living Design. We just used her same assets, same resources, same IP. But she quadrupled her revenue in 90 days. How is that possible? Because when she called herself the authority in Elder Living Design, she immediately got meetings with building owners and developers and they went to her to determine what the look and feel of something would be the interior instead of the architecture. And so she got in line ahead of the architect. We'll tell you more about this business model and mindset in a moment. But it meant accessing significantly more customers and no longer taking back seats. One of my really smart clients that I'll introduce you to in a moment calls that the industry shortcut.
And this is him, Charlie Epstein. One man comedy show in the most boring business imaginable. Financial advisor. So I met him at an Abundance 360 event.
He called himself the 401k coach before. But what we created is an industry bypass that bypassed the most difficult part of being a financial advisor. Do you know what that is? What sucks about the financial and the wealth business?
Anyone? Anyone? Compliance. All right, so we created a one man comedy show called Yield of Dreams. His unique ability, one of his superpowers is he was an actor. In a previous life he had done Guiding Light Episode. At one point he was on a soap opera comedy, music. That was his life. And when we met, I said, let's make a show. So this little Comedy Special with two performances generated $1.2 million. Twelve months of revenue in 60 days. The next three, $2.2 million. He sold his business for eight figures to Hub International, which led him to his next act. And I'm going to tell you about that in a moment. Again, the point and purpose of this is your success has left traces and clues your whole life. It's a matter of looking at that pattern and rolling that up into the highest value. So he calls it the cross sell shortcut. And his wife is involved in the business as well. There she is. She had hit the million dollar club as a result of the leads he was generating from this. But here's what happened next. Few months ago we got a call from Charlie. He said, I want to prevent veteran suicide and I've got an idea to tap into a $60 billion market.
So we brainstormed and created what we call the fortress. It's the military money mindset platform. So here's what it is. Every day, 22 to 26 vets take their lives in the US and why the cause? Financial stress, relationship stress, lack of sleep, trauma. So what this product is, it's a training program that is lead generation and it is a vehicle that allows the military to have a lot more flexibility with their money. Ultimately, it's still selling a financial instrument.
But this represents a $60 billion a year industry.
It was all done by creating an educational platform as the front end. And of course we used a lot of AI to generate and build the.
Tools and resources to get here.
Here's another one.
Broker dealer. It just took a matter of rebranding and creating experiential workshops. 50 to $100,000. And now in his particular instance, we recorded a podcast together that we broadcast and he got a $75,000 client 48 hours after the podcast launched. And now his business model is taking a percentage of money raised, a percentage of business sold, plus upfront ongoing equity. My friend Roland Frazier uses variations of this model, but prior to this, he was out there grinding and charging simple fees. There's an example what the podcast looked like and a little social proof.
So let's move on into the message. And again, what I'm going to be sharing with you soon are a couple of our best offers, our best vehicles, but also some great ways to get into the bedrooms, the bathrooms and the cars of all of your clients or prospects. So I'm sure you've heard of the Hero's Journey before the classic Star Wars. For that matter, every spiritual text revolves around the Hero's Journey, which effectively is also Walt Disney. Once upon a time, there was someone just like you who tried and failed to get results. You met a guide along the way who gave you insight, shortcuts, capabilities and resources to slay the dragon, rescue the princess, get the prince, and find the Holy Grail and live happily ever after. We are programmed and wired on a fundamental level to react and respond to that story, going way back to very primitive times. So the way I look at every business and in fact today, when I opened up my presentation for you today, it started with a story about my wife and something that's emotional and creates a connection and a journey that I hoped you would feel inspired by and connected to and feel like you could do it too. Every great marketing, every great book, every great story all follows that same pattern and that same rhythm. So I wanted to eat my own dog food today and do this for you and with you. But that is the model we use with every brand we ever create. So I'm going to take you on a couple little mini journeys, which is Justin Donald, the big promise. In other words, your superpower, your brand promise has to be integrated up front so you can absolutely enjoy the fulfilling lifestyle you desire. Desire by building wealth without creating a job. There's a credibility stack here. Now, in our case, I believe the fastest way to create a great message is to create an upgraded identity and perform inside that character as though it's always existed. So in the case of Justin Donald, I'll translate that for you. We made up the word the lifestyle investor. We made up the ten Commandments. That took a couple of days. Then I had him deconstruct 10 of his best deals he had ever done. I sat him down in front of the camera in the same studio I'm in right now, and I just interviewed him about those 10 deals, which were the 10 Commandments, which became the 10 chapters of his bestselling book. And he started living inside that new character, that new brand, in less than 48 hours. That is the fastest way imaginable to create a meaningful brand, in my opinion. Is that resonating with you? I'm super curious. So this is. It is. Jurgen just said, become the new identity. That is the only thing standing in between you and your next greatest self. Your superpower is getting clarity on your past, your successes in building a higher value offer for a higher value audience. Isabel says, I'm bodying the queen archetype. Very nice. So is my beautiful wife. That is one of her archetypes. So here is the methodology we've been using that's been enhanced dramatically with AI. So our method of building brands is we work on the first of the six M's. So in other words, the mindset, which includes your past history, all of your greatest values. The second is the market. Who do you want to be a hero to? Then the model, which is what are you going to sell? The message then is starts with a performance inside of the character, the likable hero in the hero's journey, which is you or your brand, you'll be the spokesperson for it. We perform around that content, capture it and transcribe it. We turn it into articles, we turn it into sizzle reels, we turn it into marketing materials, we turn it into books. We overcome objections. You perform in character. It's the fastest way to get this out and live inside it. Those again get translated, published in as many platforms as possible, becomes sales and marketing collateral. This is how we're able to build entire brands and businesses and all the content in three days. We've been doing that for seven years. And then what? The first step, I say, is get on longform. Long form podcasts. So I've had this podcast with Dan Sullivan. We're going into our seventh year. Now, I'm putting up that QR code right now, and if you haven't already subscribed, do it right now. I promise you'll be doing yourself a great service. Dan Sullivan is the wisest human being, the most driven person I've ever known. He's 80 years old, still runs circles around my brain. But I also interview people when they go through our brand building our superpower accelerated experience. I publish them on the podcast. Okay? I create reach right away. So my advice to everyone is get on as much long form as possible. Now, whether or not you should do a podcast yourself, there's 1.8 million out there. 800,000 get refreshed weekly. There's a lot of competition. My second is a podcast called the Big Leap with Gay Hendricks, also a genius, also 80 years old, by the way. That's another one worth subscribing. And I'll pop that into chat. Click on those links and subscribe. You'll be doing yourself a favor. I'm going to show you. I promised you a big secret to get inside the bedrooms, the bathrooms of what I consider your perfect client. Here's what it is. Record an audiobook, and it doesn't matter what it is, you can publish it as a podcast. A full disclosure, Several of mine were done with AI. I used AI Voice. You cannot tell it's me, but I want you to subscribe. Just subscribe to these right now. And I'm going to put them all in chat or scan the QR code. So the first one is. This is my book, your next act. It's the same book you'd pay for on Audible. You're probably wondering, why in the heck would you give away your audiobook? It's because if I have found if someone spends 90 minutes listening to me, they are ready to have a sales conversation, whether it's a podcast or videos. Okay, so the reason you give it away. Here's the second one. Referral party. And this is the journey we take people on. Your next act is about exactly that. Creating your next act. So we turned our sales experience into content and books. So referral party is the most powerful way to generate high quality customers with the least amount of expense. So again, we give it away. What I found is if someone listens, they're ready to have a sales conversation. So then the sales experience punch the elephant. This is a guide for people either don't like or don't want to sell or aren't good at selling in a non manipulative way. It's also our own process. So team, if you can make sure you drop in all of the links one at a time so you can get each one of these podcasts and subscribe to them. And my oh by the way is I would love reviews.
And the last one of course is my AI accelerator, which has been another fantastic tip of the spear. So if there's one big takeaway I have for you, I don't care what it is. Even if you have someone else interview, you can publish a podcast and keyword load it and if someone happens to discover it, you've got a prospect, a high quality prospect who's had an intimate experience with you. And audio is incredibly intimate. All right, I'm about to reveal some of our multipliers. In fact, one of our greatest marketing campaigns is coming up. Which are the multipliers? Here are the tools. The key components are, number one, what we call a category of one brand that expresses your history and your promise inside a word or a feeling or a promise. So the lifestyle investor is obviously one of them. Rich life was another passive income playbook. We have ageless future as a brand we created with Reagan Archibald. So the framing of the story starts with passive income active freedom, delivering the promise of your brand. And then how we do it, leveraging Build to rent real estate. Well, anyone can do. I mean there's a lot of competitors for build to rent real estate. What we sold is adventure and service and contribution and connection. If you open their hearts, their wallets will follow.
And then we brought in the legitimization of this some credibility. How Jim and Jamie have been producing almost $43,000 a month in passive income.
And how do we get there? Single family, duplex or quads? It's build to rent real estate. They've got a science. Here's another one. $5 trillion market. And just for the record, I am not about to make a political statement. I am apolitical. I like working with really smart people. I met two really smart people at a Tony Robbins event. I was speaking at Tony's home last year and they have been in the business of getting Republicans elected for almost for 15 years. And I asked them, well, I actually said, I'll bet you a million dollars right now the one Thing you want to do is start working with high quality business owners and founders and use your superpowers and talents and get out of the political quagmire. And they said, you're reading our mind. But we ended up creating a brand called Liberty Spenders. This represents a $5 trillion market of high value conservative, faith based clients. So who have they worked with? Well, they got a president, 15 governors, 15 senators, and over 100 members of Congress elected. You either love that or you don't like it.
Who are Liberty Spenders? Which is a made up word. It's 45 million people who vote with their hearts and their beliefs and their faith. They've raised over a half billion dollars from over 17 million Americans. So with this concept, now they're out communicating and talking to business owners and founders who fit that perfect fit. This fits the 6M profile precisely, by the way. So next up, a really great pitch deck. If you want courage and confidence, whether you're one on one or one to many, like you're looking at one of my decks right now.
I believe you can create a great pitch and convert an audience in 10 minutes. And in fact, the one in the bottom left, we produced that presentation in 48 hours for Reagan Archibald. He got in front of an audience and had a $600,000 day. Just last week he had an $800,000 day. And I work with him, by the way, a long term client, long term friend. He is in the business of longevity. This is where I do peptides, stem cells, all sorts of blood work, et cetera. But the framing of this is your blood doesn't lie. We took the prospect on a journey. Here's another one. This is Dr. Tim Nelson. He has a For babies who are born with congenital heart defects, meaning less than a heart, he's got a unique stem cell treatment that actually regenerates heart tissue. These children will never get a transplant. We put together this pitch deck. It raised $512,000 in 12 minutes because the audience felt something. It opened up with a story.
Next, credibility boosters. You look across the bottom. This is a little industry shortcut. I'll just tell you if all you did right now is took your body of work and told ChatGPT to write a press release for you, you could publish it for about 300 bucks and you'd be your content would show up on abc, NBC, cbs, Fox, et cetera, et cetera. It's a way to create authority and credibility very, very quickly. But in the meantime, any audience you ever present in front of Every group you ever speak in front of, you've got to stack that credibility to be positioned. That's what matters most. So it's packaging, positioning, messaging. The reason you can't charge as much as you want to is because you're improperly positioned and packaged. So this is another doc we've worked with. We've done a lot in the healthcare space. We boosted his credibility, came up with a much better hook. And.
One of his frustrations is there's other people who weren't as good as him getting his business. And he's like, I'm a real doctor. So he really boosted that. He had never really talked about even though he had done like the TEDx talk, he had been on podcasts, but he wasn't incorporating that into his story.
As his credibility stack.
And then he was most recently on Dave Asprey's podcast as well. But he had never asked for a good testimonial. So all these things really made a big difference. And then thought leadership. I've said it already. Long form, content matters most now. Books and audiobooks. What we've learned are business owner founders. In other words, high net worth customers have a propensity to listen to audiobooks. And I'm just curious, we'll do a little poll right now in chat. Do you read real books, electronic books or listen to audiobooks and just let me know in chat. I'd love to know that. Okay, Heather says real. Jurgen says audiobooks. I'm seeing a lot of real. Interesting. Yep.
Okay. Real, real and okay, there we go. Very interesting. We're getting a combination. But what we found is most founders, they're audiobook consumers. Cause time and attention are their hardest and most precious assets. So again, I've showed this to you, I'll put in the links, I'll give you copies of my books. Every one of them is high value. But they're also designed and engineered to generate qualified prospects who raise their hands because embedded. And you'll see this inside them. The six M's are embedded inside every book we've ever produced. So this is AI accelerator. This is what keeps me relevant these days. There's referral party and we'll put the links inside there so you can get them.
I'll send you to the digital version, your next act and punch the elephant. I give away my books and other than my cancerpreneur book, every book I've ever written has generated a minimum of a million dollars in business revenue in less than 100 days by giving it away. And Big tip, make sure you set up all the free promos you can if you publish on Amazon, because.
There, it's just a great lead generator, okay, for lead generation and collateral.
A sales system in a market. And I'm going to demonstrate one, a real life one right now by introducing you to Aaron Biblock, my director of client experience. Every presentation you ever do, every podcast you ever do, every book, every piece of content has got to have some kind of a call to action. So I'm going to give you a real call to action. If you're a hand raising type and you want to have a conversation right now about creating your next act, scan that QR code or schedule a link and I'll put it in chat. What you'll find is that QR code leads to a chat bot that's built into Go High Level. That's our CRM and it's going to right away ask you a question. So if you genuinely want to have a conversation with Aaron about creating your next act and think you're in the right place, scan that code or check out that link in chat. But our sales process, which is completely documented inside the Punch the Elephant book, is designed and proven to enroll five, six, seven, eight figure clients. And now it's being used to generate nine figure investments with one of our clients. Next, a business model that's high net, low overhead delivery. This is music to every founder's ears. Most founders I ever speak to who want to create their next act say I want to have the minimum number of employees and moving parts. Next time around, raise your hand if that's one of you. And then referrals, connections and who's.
So what I'm going to do is oh, and the oh, by the way, is integrating AI everywhere. And I'm curious in chat. Just let us know if you're one of our members of the AI accelerator gone through our training program before.
I can't tell you enough how important it is to use the tool. Lisa Murphy says yes. It's nice to see you, Lisa. So now, and I'm going to show you one of our greatest campaigns we've ever created. We call it the Thousand Dollar cup of Coffee. And I promised you up front a mechanism that would help you have a conversation with someone without getting your brain picked and having someone value your time up front. And I am embarrassed to say I didn't do this sooner, but there's a story behind it. But I'm gonna tell you about each one of these campaigns and I'm gonna show you one of them. We have another one. We call it the 25k shake the tree campaign. So one of the best marketing campaigns you can ever create is one. So the first one is one to have people value your time and prepare ahead of time for a meeting and pay you for it. Okay. The second. But you've got to present enough value upfront and I'm going to show you how that's done. The second is the Shake the Tree campaign. That is a vehicle for going back to prospects who never bought in the first place or people that you. You just need to say, I have something that's brand new that is enough to create motivation. One of our best campaigns we've also created is called the Golden Envelope campaign. Whenever I speak, I have a sales letter that's inserted inside all of my books and it effectively is a sales story and it's produced at this point millions of dollars in revenue. Four day cash machine. That is a way to reactivate people who haven't done anything. We have something called a triple win. That's for doing channel marketing. The next best marketing beyond getting referrals is channel marketing and then how to get stages and webinars and podcasts. Another one for launching books. Getting your first 100 reviews in less than 30 days is mission critical to getting noticed by Amazon. So what we've been doing, part of our secret sauce is building constant campaigns that are just generated to grab attention and create engagement.
So I'm going to show you one of them right now. We call this the Thousand Dollar cup of Coffee campaign and it is real. So I'm going to tell you about it and then I'm going to show it to you. But basically that there's a link down here so you can look at it yourself. Here's what we found. The big promise is for people who are not ready to place or make a big investment. And the credibility booster is we've built now over 100 businesses and brands in a week over the past six years. That's what I've been doing ever since I sold the last businesses. So for someone who's not ready to say yes, they'll say yes to a conversation where our promise is as follows. And I'll go up and I'll show this to you once again. So this is how it works. So we do a custom onboarding. We just ask a series of questions to uncover your biggest opportunities for you. Your greatest methodology to attract and close a right fit person is determining which of your models are you in the business of Getting paid, getting laid or living forever? In other words, is it more money saving time? Shortcuts? Is it elevating status and brand? Is it health and longevity? So what is it? I'd like to know in chat. So I have an idea of your business type, but the whole front front end is the custom onboarding. It's uncovering opportunities and showing someone a clearer path for us. I do these in 30 minutes. What I'm doing right now literally today is saying we double the time. So 60 minutes to change everything. Expert analysis, identify what's really holding you back. So for example, I've created a whole bunch of custom AI prompts that look at the information we gather in someone's history and help determine their better future self. So then we tackle the challenges head on. In other words, what's missing? Which components do you need? We record it and use AI and build a custom report. So I have a rule which is no homework. It's all done in real time. This is also adaptable to the sales process, which is what Aaron uses.
An action plan, what to do next. So if you want to create your own next act, here's how to do it. Whether you do it with us or not, or there's an opportunity to do it with us. So what winds up happening is this turns into a conversation that's intimate and connected. But I also know I'm getting right fit people who are raising their hand up front.
So the oh, and I'm going to give you a real life important part of the bonus process. So when we do these, and I'm not kidding you, this is literally happening live. So this is a real offer. But what I'm doing right now for five people is I'll give you 60 minutes instead of 30. So we double the normal time. I do five of these a month, so I blocked out time for five. I also have a product, it's the 10x multiplier blueprint. It's effectively what we deliver in our six figure experience with me in a product. So you actually see the roadmap.
And my rule is you need to be a 1, 2 or 3. When I shared with you the ideal customer profile earlier, you're either a real business and you're reinventing yourself or you've had an exit and want to do it or want to create a platform. So, and this is critically important if you remember the mindsets you need to be coachable and have the resources to implement. In other words, I can't fix or help someone who doesn't have the resources to actually take action or a hesitator. So I want to let you know that what I've done with you today in full transparency, my objective has been create as much value as possible, show you a pathway, but also show you a process and an easy to digest offer to raise your hand and take the next step. So again, if you're interested in taking the next step forward, scan the code. I've got a link inside here that'll go inside the chat and I'm going to answer some questions. And Aaron just said one of the spots is already gone, which is actually great news. You're seeing this happen in real time. So at this stage I'll keep this up. And again, if you want to book a conversation with Aaron, that's the QR code. But I'm here to answer questions. I'd like you to type them in or raise your hand and I can back up. I can answer any question related to first of all, the thousand dollar cup of coffee program. Our products, books, marketing, platform creation. I am yours. So let's see some hands. Aaron will be.
The man who does the management here. But if you have any questions. Oh, Benjamin Wright, thank you for that. That's awesome. Who else has a question or you'd like to just dive deep? I'm here. Anyone? I'm going to just shout out a couple of names right now. I see Alice, Adele, Ben.
Bobby. I saw Brian on. Brian, Mazlish. It's nice to see you. Carol Abramson, Kerry, Christine, Clay. I saw you register. It's nice to see your face. Danielle, Darren, David, David Shore, Dimitri, Emre. Oh, Emre. It's nice to see you. Gabor, Gail. Nice to see you again. Akeem, Heather, Isabel, Iori. All right, Lisa Murphy. Let's bring on Lisa.
You want to bring her on and unmute her? Patti Thor is here. I haven't seen you in a while. Steve Miller, Tim Wells. Man, this great audience. All right, good job, Aaron.
And you can see this works. And Phil has a question as well. So I'm going to unmute him. I don't see Patty, maybe I missed her. But Phil, I just asked you to unmute. I'll bring you on ask a great question, man. Nice to see you. What can I do for you, sir? It's fun to met you back in 09. Good to see you. I'm looking at transitioning from kind of a standard business scenario of providing I do business and corporate development for technology companies that might be considered very airy and fairy, which is a moonshot of Universal love to impact a billion people in the next decade and make that work. I don't know if you're familiar with the Hunger Project from Werner Earhart, but essentially, like, this was tried before and it did a lot of good, even though the explicit goal wasn't realized. So do you people who want to make that kind of a transition. Okay, here, I'm going to just stop you there.
Here.
Here's the biggest thing I tell anyone who's got Airy fairy or says a billion. Do you know how hard it is to help a thousand? You got to start with 1 and 100 and 1000. Don't ever talk to me about a billion first. And it's good. I don't want to smash. I always say I don't want to be the Amber heard in the room, but I say this with love in my heart. There are very few unicorns, and a billion's a lot. A thousand's a lot. Selling a thousand books is really, really hard. My advice to everyone is create a movement and get 100 people who each can reach 10,000 or find 10. If you think about a billion, you're screwed.
It's like you got a better chance of waking up during the apocalypse getting bit by a shark when you swim in the ocean, going and getting in a car crash that same day. And again, I'm not trying to be daddy downer here. It's, you gotta start and think about the network effect. So. But you've gotta talk to people who've done a billion before, or for that matter, a thousand, and model them. But what you're trying to do is really, really, really hard. And the day my life changed, at least on a financial and a business level, is when I realized that a thousand times a thousand equaled a million dollars. And then it really changed when I realized that doing high ticket with those who are capable is the smart thing to do. So I'll give you one more big tip that I oftentimes share. When we're working with people and we're building brands, and I ask people all the time, what's the fastest way to create or generate a billion dollars? And someone who's been smoking too much marijuana will say, well, I'll help a million people. And I'll be. Because most people haven't helped themselves. They can't help one or ten or a hundred. All right? Which is a sign of crazy, in my opinion, or just naive. And that's okay. There's nothing wrong with that. Ignorance is okay. It's Fine. To start out that way, but the fastest way to produce a billion dollars is to help a billionaire make 10 and charge them a billion for access to the deal. You got a higher probability of doing one deal than a million anything. And 10,000 is hard. Okay? So I hope that was useful. Very useful. And again, I want to say with love in my heart. All right, all right.
Mute here, Lisa.
Yes.
Okay.
Hey, Lisa Murphy. How you doing?
I am doing great, Mike, thank you. And I just want to tip my hat to Aaron. He's amazing. So. Anybody. And it's amazing.
I'm getting ready to make a really big bid to a CEO that is. It's the biggest project of my life, probably.
Okay.
And I. I was trying to take. I. I've had some problems with Internet in the past, so I was trying to take some of my sales trainings previously and put them into. I thought you had said something at a previous training about an AI, like podcast interaction.
Yeah, that's Notebook LM. And if you look up NotebookLM, I've got several videos on YouTube on how to do it. But go ahead, finish your question, and then I wanna clarify that for everyone else who's watching. Yes. Okay.
I've had Notebook make the audio of the podcast, but what I wanted to do was load that in. I thought there was an AI where I could load it in and then I could have an interaction with the AI on video.
Mm, you absolutely can. And I'm gonna just do this for everyone who's watching, because it's a really good question, and I'll just tell you right up front. One of our most effective methods right now for researching and learning everything we possibly can. It's one of our shortcuts to creating massive amounts of marketing material is with this tool. So I'm gonna bring it up for you right now. This is NotebookLM. So, for example, just last week, Dave Asprey came over here and we did an AI data together. So if you're not familiar with this, I have his entire body of work loaded into NotebookLM, all of his books, tons of his material. And then this tool in studio lets you create or generate a podcast. So you can either customize it or if I just clicked on the generate button right now, it's going to start generating a audio interactive podcast with. With Dave. But as soon as it's done, you can actually talk to the AI and go into the AI studio and you can talk to the other two hosts in real time. Okay. You'll have to record it with your computer. But I was looking up one of our other podcasts here. I wanted to see if I could load it up. But if you do a little research on YouTube or team, if you can find that for Lisa, I did a step by step interactive how to use Notebook LM to build this. But what's great about it, Lisa, is you can engage, you can interact, you can practice. You can also get feedback if you do a pitch on any of your sales material. It's phenomenal and it's easy. Okay.
And you think it's okay to just do the audio and not have the video with it?
Yeah, totally. PDFs still work as guides. Like people read. A lot of people read a lot of an audio is fantastic and it's easier to consume than depending on someone to watch a video. Could you create a synthetic video? I'm going to give you one more little shortcut here. You can take the podcast that gets generated, upload that.
Or transcribe it, and then have AI ask AI to give me all the major important points that were talked about in this. And it can create derivative work from the podcast and you can ask the Notebook LM to evaluate the value of the content. So just to pop this in perspective, the biggest lesson I've been learning is how small I think and how small we as humans think. When you've got access to the entire base of human knowledge at your fingertips for 20 bucks a month now. Yeah.
I just want to say a big thank you to you. Because of you, I have expanded my my own personal health care, which has been quite the journey for the last 20 years. And just chat GPT in assessing all of my tests for the last 10 years, gave me a list of questions and treatments to ask my doctors about and they've started a new path for me. So thank you for that.
Congratulations. That means the world to me and very beautiful. And thank you, by the way, for investing in 10x multiplier blueprint as well. I know Aaron wanted me to mention that. So Lisa's an action taker. Yep, you sure are. Good luck. I love the fact that you're here right now. I know. We've got a couple more questions I'm going to do. Aaron, you decide who we're going to bring on next.
Let's bring on Steve. Steve was asking a question in chat.
I'll do a quick station identification, which is one of the things that we do together is we actually build and work on your next act together. In one hour, I'll pop that link in there. Aaron will Pop it in again. But that's the shameless plug. Part of the show is having the courage to ask. But that's the thousand dollar cup of coffee with me. Go ahead. Bring on our next guest. Hi, Steve.
Hey, thanks, Aaron. Hi, Mike. How are you?
Good, man. Good to have you.
Appreciate your time and wisdom. Right now I'm a pretty good fit across the board with a reasonably material exception which is the existing business has just been slammed in the face and needs a complete reinvention that I don't know what that is yet. And I'm also moving into new business that I haven't. So I'm not sure if I fit the criteria at this point. Otherwise, you know, I think I checked the box pretty well. So I just curious if it made sense.
Tell me what the current business is.
It's called US Elite. We offer high end gear to military, law enforcement and civilian enthusiasts. And the model is played and we're looking to adopt technology and get into like drones and stuff, get into something new. But it's completely theoretical at this point.
Okay, and the, so that's the new business or the existing?
Existing.
Okay, and what's your vision of the new one?
The new one is actually commercial real estate investment value add commercial real estate investment which includes a couple of plays. One is, is actually being a fund manager.
Yep. So yeah, fantastic. That's the new business you've got, you've got experience in, in money in real estate in addition to the current. And by the way, I'm going to give you a shameless plug in here. I just went up. This is your business US Elite, right?
Is that correct?
Yeah. Mike and friends get a special discount.
All right, brother. Well, here's the thing. Anything I can do with any vets or anything related.
I'm honored. And then the second thing is I love the fact that you're looking at multiple things. So I'd say right off you'd be a right fit for the cup of coffee. And then while we're together, I do a tremendous amount of deep research on you ahead of time and so does Aaron.
We're doing it right now actually.
What's that, Aaron?
We're trying to do deep research right now.
We're doing, just taking forever. We've got our little AI spinning in the background. But I, my instincts are, first of all, I like you. I like your energy and to me I want a charismatic founder who's willing to be courageous. I'd love to have a conversation with you. So I'd just say get in There register with Aaron. And after I look at the stuff, if I don't feel 100%, I'll refund you right away. Beautiful.
Thank you very much. Appreciate you both.
Oh, yeah, no, the same. Thank you. No, it's great that you're here. If you got another question, go ahead and ask, but. Gail Kingsbury. Hi, love.
Hi.
How are you, baby? Nice to see you.
Nice to see you, too.
All right, what can I do for you?
So. Well, so our tiny.
We have united.
Tiny Homes is our company and you're growing like crazy.
Awesome. Congrats.
Taking over Tiny homes in the ADU markets across the country, looking at opening a second factory. But we don't sell ip, we sell physical homes.
It just keeps bugging me on my mind that I need to be doing something more. One that's going to set us apart because there's so much going on in the industry that it needs to be. I need to make sure we, we stay on top that that's where we're landed. Yeah, I'm speaking at some conferences, like in the mobile home industry. They're now calling me. There's a, a really large conference on ADUs that just called and asked me to come and speak about tiny homes as ADUs. I'm working with municipalities across the country. But I, we need. I don't know what that IP looks like for me because, you know, I'm just used to doing that for people.
Here's, here's the deal. You know, you've heard the story about Warren Buffett and the RV company he bought. What you have right now is a very high in demand product. I think what you're lacking is a great story. It's just a matter of time. If you build enough momentum underneath you, your IP is your marketing vehicle and engine that someone would pay a pretty penny for because you are, you can sell these things and then either move up market or work with massive contracts with government.
Well, we're working with developers right now. Like, we just, we just signed a $6 million, almost $7 million contract for one developer.
That's fantastic.
That's creating a rental community. And we're doing, we're building all the homes. We've got another one here in Arizona in Bisbee that we're going to be doing 105 homes for. And we're, we're going to actually own part of that community as the company which has been part of how we want to grow it. But I need to, I need to be out there more. So I'm just Wondering, you know, where, where do I find that hook? And just like what you said, that's. I'm here because I always love listening to Mike. You make me think outside the box and I love that about you.
Thank you. Well, we've known each other damn near 20 years, so here's what my gut is when I listen to you now and we've talked a little bit about this when you were just starting up. I think you got to get on podcasts that have. You got to think through the lens of creating network effects and find out where you can either sell big contracts and communities, developments, land. I think you really got to think about where you can sell a whole bunch of these at the time or where there is more value. So is there a.
It's in the bulk contracts, but it's also in, you know, like the, the family that came in here today, their mom is, is. Is not doing well. We. We've had this all the time. They want to put a studio or a little unit in the backyard so she still has independence and privacy. And they're not paying $7,000 a month to have her in assisted living. They can afford to have.
Have people come in and help and they're still preserving their family legacy.
Right.
Okay. So let's pretend that's one of the stories. I think the. My instincts are the pitch deck I would create if I were working with you or in your position were would be to pre sell a whole bunch of these and sell the paper. Okay. The money is going to be in the financing and it's going to be in selling a thousand or ten thousand pre sales to someone who is in the business of money. Okay. And then replicating that, my feeling is, and I've known you a long time, I think you're too close to the onesie buyer and what you need is the grand story. So there might be someone just like that woman. But I always think upmarket and highest value and where the highest profit potential is at the highest margin and the highest value. Remember, if you want to help, if you want to produce a billion dollars worth of value, you got to sell to someone who can do a billion dollar deal. And it ain't going to come from. And I say this with love in my heart to someone who's barely scratching. Okay. That will not do your brand or you any good.
Yeah. That's actually something that's interesting is that our demographics with tiny homes are typically a lot higher. We've had totally people who didn't qualify.
I mean, tiny homes Aren't a mobile home. Right on. Yep. Yeah, yeah, you got my answer for now. Let me see if someone else got a question too. But I love you so much and thank you for showing up today. It's always nice to see you. Go ahead and ask me any questions in chat. So we don't have any on, but we're right at the bottom of the hour, which is where I wanted to end. But go ahead, ask your question, my friend.
My question is that have you ever done this sort of work for a kind of a CPA tax focused planning business? The reason I ask is historical rates and people have a hard time getting off of that. And even if you provide value, they seem stuck on paying what they've always paid for their tax prep.
Yeah. So remember the story I told you about Connie Whitick a little while ago, the interior designer? And we reframed. I'm going to show it to you again and I'm going to make this contextually relevant to you, which is you've got to be repositioned. The worst thing you can do is be in the same fold as someone else and be basically a wage slave. You know, it's like if you're charging by the hour.
You have a job. If you're charging high value people, it's a totally different conversation. So in the case of Connie, my goal is to get you where you want to be. So she was an interior designer. We called her the authority in elder living design and quadrupled her revenue by changing the conversation and getting to the front of the line. So the answer to your question, by the way, nice shirt, well done.
Thank you.
Yeah, you're welcome. Ah, that's very funny.
But it was free from Genius Network, so that's great.
Well played.
That's good. So here's what I would look at. I'd want to go through a historical account of your best clients you've ever had and look for industry specific examples of big wins. And then I would reframe your offer in such a way that we're selling either saving a ton of money or in making some multiples. And I'd create examples and case studies of them and I'd create four or five. And that's the hero's journey is going to be the customer. And I'm going to give you a real life example of something that happened to me and one of the best pitches I ever got in the worst way. So I met a guy who's a financial advisor. Whenever I see financial advisor, my blinking red Lights always go up because it's like, ah, this conversation I want to have. And he asked me a question. He said, are you getting R and D tax credits? And I'm like, I don't think so. And I'm back channeling texting my bookkeeper, my accountants, and I'm like, are we getting R and D tax credits? It turns out we haven't. That's a great way to get free money and go backwards four years. I just got another check yesterday from the federal government. I got one last week from the state, which are rebates on taxes I paid because I got R and D tax credits. You got to sell the money, my friend, and you don't sell the time. You're going to sell the expertise and the value. And what they're paying for is some sort of an evaluation or a strategic plan. And you don't want to be framed as a cpa. You want to be an expert and authority in a high value siloed area. And again, my gut is you have to answer this, not me. But if we looked at all of your past clients, all your present clients, and looked at where the biggest wins, the biggest successes and what your unique specialty or capability is, that is where your superpower lies in your superpower brand. All right, does that knock you out of the I'm not sure if this is right for me tree?
No. Although the biggest benefits that I've been able to bring are things like R and D, although they're not exactly R and D. I don't do R and D credit studies, but it's things that are like the employee retention credit, other kinds of things like cost segregation, which again, I don't do, but I bring to clients. So there are those kinds of things.
It's just there aren't a ton of them necessarily.
Yeah, yeah. So here's what I would imagine for you. It's a series of little case studies going deep into some of the best clients. This can be gathered relatively quickly and then like a VSL and a couple info videos and you give it a name so it's the maximum something multiplier. And your big promise is, and it has to be real. Obviously none of this can be bs but if you did the thousand dollar cup of coffee strategy, what you're really getting is someone who's got skin in the game, who's providing the information up front so you can review it. And then when you show up, you give them some estimates of what they're going to get. So in their mind, let's say, for example, like most business owners, if you can find them $100,000 in free money, that's worth at least 10, if not $20,000. That's the way to think of this. Yeah. Well, it's about how it's positioned and framed. And if they're going to get there by chipping at 4 or 500 bucks an hour or whatever it is the normal fees are. Both of you are sad because they're going to feel, quote unquote, nickeled and dime. They got to look at you and go, that's the dude who finds me money. Every time I talk to him, it's reframing the conversation.
Right.
Your body language does not show me that you're sold on the idea.
I am. I think just the implementation of it is difficult because we also have issues where we can't charge contingent fees for tax planning. And so if it's. It's a fee based on future savings, you. You can't, you know, you got to charge hours and rates. So if I'm only looking at retroactive refund opportunities, it limits the field quite a bit.
Okay. Yeah. I think it's to shift the model into an advisory. And maybe there's a different brand here. Can you operate like that where you've got a this and that?
You mean the more traditional and then a different advisory?
Yeah. Reposition yourself as a something else. It's a made up. It's the magic Larry E. The magic elephant. Okay. And the magic elephant stomps out waste and finds free money. So whatever that turns out, that is, the deal is you gotta think outside the box and create a different conversation. And there might be a different entity here. Can Larry Evans charge a different fee, a different way as a separate entity and not get into this? I hate rules. If you haven't figured that out. I don't like rules or homework.
And unfortunately, I've been in this business so long that I've become just hammered with rules over the decades.
Yeah, I get it, I get it.
And it's hard to break out.
I understand. My suspicion is that has more to do with a mindset and it has to do with improving like I'm doing with you right now. We make up stuff until something sticks. You know, like I'm really good having 10 shitty ideas in a row because one of them is going to be a juicy one.
And then it's just a matter of the pitch. It's like, you know, we can have a, no, we can't do that combo, but I'll bet you anything there's precedent for this with a little bit of research I've tried.
I mean, I've done research in terms of why people are dissatisfied with their CPAs. Most of it's because they're not being proactive. They're not bringing them tax saving ideas.
Yeah.
And you know, anywhere up to like 30 or 40% of people are willing to change.
Yep, I did. I just did. I fired everyone. I just fired everyone for that reason. They didn't come to me once with good ideas. I'm telling them stuff because I'm doing the research. So I'm. Yeah. And I'm probably a right fit client for most people because I'm willing to stroke a check for value. And you got to get more people like that.
Yeah.
And we're willing to pay for really good advice. Especially when I see a multiplier. And willing to take. Willing to gamble if I just know the odds. Tell me the odds and I'll take a gamble.
For the IRS out there, you know, there are no thousand percent.
Sure.
Sure thing. So people generally have to be willing to take on a little bit of risk.
Yeah. Yeah. That's great. By the way, we have some juice here. I want to read you some comments that are pretty funny. Jurgen said the shitty ideas have the tendency to stick. Lisa said, look for the solutions to the problems. And then. What was that? Is someone trying to talk to me at the same time?
Todd just said most CPAs are deal breakers, not deal makers. And.
Yeah, that's what I run into every day.
Yeah, exactly. Well, I call it the Amber Heard Syndrome. Do you remember the Amber Heard deal?
Amber Heard, the Johnny Depp girlfriend?
Yeah. Yeah. She pooped in his bed. So anyway, the last thing. You don't want to have a girlfriend who poops in your bed. You don't want to have any partners who poops in your bed. And that's what I found. Oftentimes professional services, individuals are bed poopers. So, anyway, there. Well, I'll tell you what, Larry, if you want to brainstorm, I'm willing to do it.
But otherwise, I had a great time talking to you.
Same here. Hope to see you soon.
Yeah. It's good to see you. I'm glad you're wearing that shirt. Looks real sexy on you.
Thank you.
I appreciate it.
Real quick, before we wrap here, I just want to say thank you to those of you that jumped on our coffee offer. So thank you, Ben, thank you, Carrie, thank you, Steve, and thank you, Heather.
Heather.
Actually, extra thanks to Heather. I'm not sure if she's still here. She actually upgraded, so that's awesome. Going to be doing some extra time with her.
Okay.
It is available for people if they are interested, so. But we had all five spots gone. One of the people that committed to it left and didn't take it. So we still have one last spot.
Okay. Well, that's great. That's hilarious.
Good. I can't help it. Van. All right, well, I'm going to do one more thing in passing here is I'm going to show you a video that I made which is our version of a vsl and I'm playing this for you. I probably should have played it earlier, but my objective is I want you to go on the client journey. Every business in the world, I don't care what it is, you want to take anyone on a customer journey and get them to raise their hand and say, I'm just like that. That's just like me. So pay attention to the process and the patterns here. And then in the meantime, the offer's still up. We have one spot remaining. And I want to thank you for being here. But check this out and watch the Experience video.
Today I'm here to share with you, introduce to you a gentleman who's a dear friend of mine. He's helped me immensely. Here's a guy that started literally from nothing, but back in the early days of the web. He's a guy that's managed or helped some of the largest business in the world. But he's also shown people how to get started from nothing. And I know that's what he's probably most proud of.
You're ahead of anyone else I've ever met. The ability that you can to package a new idea is unmatched. Mike Koenigs is a brilliant marketing muse.
That can make you money.
Mike's awesome.
He's just a ninja with marketing strategy. He's someone that if you want to take what you're saying, seeing here and bring it to scale inside your company or to experiment with it or use it, I'm doing that with him. He's just an extraordinary communicator and thinker and teacher. And his mission is to help you find something you love and you're passionate about. So I want to introduce to you Mike Koenigs, my dear friend.
The Superpower Accelerator is a three day in person experience where we build a business from scratch, enhance the one you have, or create a personal brand that will elevate and multiply the value of everything you touch. It's the ultimate shortcut to reinventing yourself, creating better offers and attracting higher value customers who pay you more into a business you'll love for the rest of your life. My name is Mike Koenigs. Seven years ago I was depressed, uncertain and stuck in a business I had grown to hate. And because I was supposed to be the big business guru, I couldn't get.
Out of my own way and ask for help.
I finally said enough is enough and in less than 18 months I sold the business I no longer loved and completely reinvented myself and created a business I love that I could do for the rest of my life. I built the business I wish I had when I was going through this pain. And since then, my team and I have created and launched over 100 businesses and brands for clients in less than a week. Creating category one brands, multiplying their value and impact and creating businesses that transform their lives. I've worked with the world's top three thought leaders, entrepreneurs, marketers, world changing medical and healthcare professionals, technology experts, celebrities, visionaries, philanthropists and personal development experts. So if you are sick and tired of wasting money and time on the wrong who's who, don't completely understand your vision, how to interpret what you're thinking and make it real and you're ready for a new or upgraded business that's inspiring, impactful of the highest quality, that's high net low overhead with the fewest moving parts possible, possible and lifestyle and family compatible. This is for you. Because while you're not building a category of one brand or feel like you're not making constant progress, elevating your value, visibility and pricing, someone else out there is. And right now I'll bet you're selling to a lower quality customer than you should be who undervalues you when you know you and your products are worth at least three to 10 times more than what you're charging charging. And by now you've probably tried, failed and burned hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe millions trying to get there. That's where we come in. The Superpower Accelerator is an in person, highly concentrated process that will completely reinvent you, your business and your brand. Now, for nearly a decade, my team and I have been helping founders like you get to their next level. And in less than a week, my team and I work with you to create your next act where you will walk away with a dream come true platform, a new or upgraded brand offer and revenue streams, a presentation of world class design quality, the messaging engineered to convert everything you've been dreaming of, but haven't been able to start, perfect or finish for years now. So who's this for?
Visionary founders and entrepreneurs.
So if you've sold your business and are looking for your next act, something that's high net low overhead with the fewest moving parts, that's lifestyle compatible, that is 100% aligned with your superpower zone of genius, or what I call your category of one, or you need a reinvention or upgrade for your existing brand or business. You want better customers who pay more. And maybe you need to change the packaging, positioning and messaging of your business to attract better customers faster. Or you've seen competitors with strong personal brands consistently win deals that you should get. You know, having a strong personal brand, becoming a thought leader, authority expert, bestselling author, or speaking could multiply the value of everything you touch for the rest of your life. Now this is what the superpower accelerator experience is like and what you get. Now, after you've booked a call and we decide to work together, you meet with me and my team and we onboard you going deep into your vision and build a complete blueprint with total clarity.
And the biggest result we've gotten so far is clarity. I could have never, six months ago, when we started this conversation, been seeing what I was seeing today and expected it. We actually are going home with something very tangible. Not just a quick start, but a full finish.
Then you come to La Jolla, California to stay at my condo on the beach and we get to work one on one with my team in person.
You know, old school.
Now, to be clear, it's not uncommon for founders to show up having no idea what they want to do next. They're genuinely stuck or want outside inspiration. That's why on day one, we sit down and build on top of the blueprint or we create another one focusing on transforming your business, business, brand and lifestyle or creating something from scratch. Now, without exception, every client we've ever worked with stops us in the first 60 to 90 minutes and says, you've made me think bigger about myself, my business and my purpose than I ever have before. I came in with a vision for this to be a ten million dollar program. Ten million dollar business. And before the morning was over, on day one, Mike showed us a way this could be a hundred million dollar business. So I'm very grateful we created something really special here these last three days. We have a system that consistently produces profitable results quickly and with impact.
When I started this process, I was charging somewhere around $30,000 for each of my engagements. After the experience. I don't see any problem with 10xing. Those prices probably will look at now somewhere around a quarter of a million as a minimum price and I would have never thought that before I came here.
Now we focus on who your perfect audience is targeting high value prospects, how to engage and compel them to take the next step. Then we work on your offer offer creating new products, services or enhancing the ones you have and increasing the value so you can charge three to ten times or more. Now every step of the way we're using AI to enhance everything we create together. Doing the work that normally takes a team three to six months or more done in three days.
We are hands on.
Get done now and get the results you want. No homework and I can't stress this enough. Done.
It's unbelievable the assets that we created in the last couple of days to.
Watch it all happen in real time.
Has been quite, quite remarkable. There's no homework involved. It doesn't happen tomorrow, it happened today.
On day two we focus on packaging.
Expert authority, positioning and messaging. The big takeaway is a beautiful persuasive pitch deck with stories designed to sell so your perfect audience raise their hands and say I'm in. I want to buy from you. Think of it as a universal TED talk that can be presented to an audience of one to millions in any media that gets repurposed for live recorded or stage presentations, webinars, podcasts, even print. We build Rolls Royces and Lamborghinis, not Kias or Toyota Corollas. World class quality premium brands. Now we've had people leave and produce 1.2 million dollar deals in less than 48 hours after working with us or raising a half a million dollars for a non profit. Now our record to date is $34 million two weeks after we were together. Day three is when we get into the studio and start producing content, making sales videos, recording interviews and building the assets and materials needed to make you stand out as a category of one. You walk away with the tools to overcome objections, click leads and book conversations, positioning you and your brand as the expert authority and thought leader in your space. Did I mention no homework? My two favorite words are now and done. Then I open up my 40 year database and community to make the right connections. Referrals for you and with you.
I've had many clients tell me this.
Alone was worth their entire investment. And I can't promise this for everyone, but for example, we sent over 200 customers to Reagan Archibald and if you don't believe we can make this happen for you know that we've already done it over a hundred times for businesses in dozens of categories and most likely including yours, my clients have been blown away with the results. Listen to what they say.
Mike is somebody that helps you climb to the top of the mountain, not down into the valley to compete. To show you opportunities that you probably.
Aren'T even aware of.
So don't hesitate, just get it done. I can tell you that my confidence is through the roof. We've gotten more done than what I would have anticipated over the course of a year. We just created a product in half.
A day's period of time.
I quickly realized I was dealing with.
The best and I am walking away.
With a product that is infinitely better.
Than what I walked through the door with. Way more deliverables than I ever thought I would get out of the deal.
It's been amazing, amazing how much we've accomplished in three days. I don't honestly know that I would have ever gotten here if I hadn't made this investment. I've been trying to do myself for 12 years now and going through programs and all these time and money that I've wasted and in three days it's crystal freaking clear what we got to do and how we do it and how to think about it differently.
Finally somebody got my vision after just three days.
I have an amazing brand that is so inspired that I absolutely in love. I in love with it. He over delivers on what he has promised. Imagine this.
You and a +1 arrive in beautiful San Diego and stay at my private condo on La Jolla Shores Beach. You settle into this remarkable place across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Then your team and my team join us remotely. With everyone focused on your reinvention.
This is deep one on one work.
And most of our clients sign up for annual contracts after we finish what we call container one. Now who is this not for? Unfunded startups or first timers. There are no discounts, deals, barters or trades. And I don't invest in or raise money for your deals. You're financially secure and have the resources to launch and execute. You are ambitious, coachable and all in. And I can look you in the eyes right now and confidently say that we're the best in the world at what we do. And to the best of my knowledge, the only team I know of that does what we do. I know for a fact that we can do it with you too. And in case I didn't make it clear, it is fun. AI f so imagine if you had created your next act 18 months ago. I guarantee your situation, mindset, impact and bank account would look way different than they do right now. So here we are, what's known as the crossroads close. There are two paths to take. Option one, you can do nothing and life continues exactly the way it is. For option two, you raise your hand, click that book a call button, say I'm in, and let's get this party started.
Foreign.
There you go, ladies and gentlemen. Well, here's what I want to do is say thank you for your time. It's been an absolute joy and pleasure. And if there's a little social proof in the air, we had five people enroll in the cup of coffee so that you have some physical proof that this works. And if you're one of the action takers.
Thank you. And also just thanks for attending. It really warms my heart to have my team engaged like this as well. And I want to thank Aaron and Laurie and Abby and Scott. And one question popped up here that I just saw and it was Danielle saying, do I need to have a team to come with me at the retreat? Here's what most people do. We have room for plus one. Sometimes people bring as many as two people. It energetically it works to have one, two or three. But what we always do is your entire team can attend remotely, which means there's no travel, you don't have to worry about anything. And the condo's two bedroom, so if you have someone who sleeps with you, great. Otherwise, you know, you've got, there's two bedrooms and then we're right across the street from the La Jolla Shores Hotel. And there's great hotels in the area if that isn't what you want. But yeah. And we've done these remote. We've had clients in India all over the world who don't come physically at all. We just do it over a period of three days and you walk out with a completely different mindset, an upgraded identity and some kick ass tools. So I was just telling my team while I watched that I forgot how good that video was. So anyway, it's been my absolute pleasure to spend some time with you. Thank you again for participating and we'll make sure if you want, we'll send out a replay as well. And thank you again. It's just been an absolute blast team. Appreciate you. Bye bye.
