Rutger Parris, an attorney from Lancaster, California, gives a testimonial after attending an AI event tied to Mike Koenigs' book AI Accelerator. He asserts that his firm’s intellectual property is "10 times the value of the actual company" and that leveraging it strategically could 10x revenues. He describes AI’s potential to automate paperwork and redundant tasks, freeing valuable employees, but notes a steep learning curve—"learning a new language"—and praises Mike Koenigs’ direct, forward teaching style.

My greatest takeaway so far has been our intellectual property is 10 times the value of the actual company. And if we could utilize that strategically, Our revenues will 10x.
My name is Rutger Paris. I'm from Lancaster, California, and I'm an attorney. I read Mike's book, AI Accelerator, and in reading it, it got me very excited. So from there, went to his website, got some information, and I was lucky enough that this coincided within the last week and there was this event. It worked out beautifully with both mine and my father's schedules that we were able to attend. The reason we're here is we very much see the value AI will bring to almost any business, especially one like ours. Anything dealing with the amount of paperwork and rather redundant tasks that occur. If we are able to automate those processes, it will open up free time for all of our most valuable employees. The biggest struggle is, where do I begin? It's like learning a new language. I have to learn a new language now. I have to learn AI speak. You know, how do you. How do you speak to a computer? There's a completely different way than we actually converse. Even though it's meant to be able to be conversed with the way we do, that is not how it works. It pretty much has to be done on your own or with Mike. He definitely does not mince words. At the same time, he weaves in ideas as he is explaining something to you. He is also weaving in what he's going to be explaining to you soon, what's coming next. So while you are processing the information he is delivering, it's also like my subconscious is working on what's coming next. He does a great job of weaving it in a way that you understand what topic you're on, but you also understand where we're about to go with it.
