GLP-1 weight loss medications reduce inflammation!

McCall McPherson explains how GLP-1 drugs like semaglutide and tirzepatide cut inflammation in the body before you lose weight. Studies show inflammatory markers drop within six weeks, and one patient's inflammation score fell from 9.6 to 4.1 days after a single injection.

GLP1 Weight loss medications reduce inflammation, not the weight loss itself. And I'm about to blow your mind. So I have been saying for two years that long before weight loss occurs, inflammation in people on GLP1 weight loss medications like Semaglutide, Tirzepatidozen, Bicmanjara, Wegovy, Zepbound. Their inflammation plummets before they lose weight. Research studies were not testing this. They were testing people at a year for inflammatory markers like hscrp, which measures inflammation and likelihood of having a heart attack or stroke. And they were saying, yeah, in a year these numbers are reducing. Well, a study came out a couple months ago that said as early as six weeks they're reducing. I want to blow your mind. I had a patient this week who joined our weight loss program. She checked her CRP right before she joined our weight loss program and she checked it five or six days after she joined it. After the first injection. Okay? After one injection on semaglutide, her HSCRP again. This is systemic inflammation, also cardiovascular inflammation and predicts the likelihood of a cardiovascular event. Anything over three, this is elevated. You want it less than one. Her CRP on June 24, right before she joined the program, was 9.6. It was extremely high. After her first injection on July 5, her CRP was 4.1. There is nothing else in medicine that I have seen professionally, clinically that drops Someone's CRP from a 9 to a 4 in 3 months. This was in days. So the proof is in the pudding. It is not weight loss that is triggering reduction in inflammation. It is GLP1 medications themselves.
