You want to know a hormone disorder that I see in like, I don't know, 75% of my patients that are women is low testosterone. Like y', all, it's pretty much in all my thyroid patients. The symptoms are things that might clue you in to, hey, maybe I have low testosterone. Obviously some overlap with thyroid are low libido or low sex drive, poor physical stamina. Like when you exercise, your stamina is not appropriate. You can't improve your stamina with exercise. You have terrible exercise recovery. Doesn't matter what you do, you can't build a lick of muscle when you exercise and you lose muscle mass. Also like vague symptoms like loss of overall sense of well being, that kind of thing additionally show up with low testosterone in women. But y', all, it is so common that I really, really encourage you to get your testosterone checked. I actually advocate for testosterone replacement therapy in women. I mainly utilize dissolvable tablets in women, but sometimes I also do lotion all or prescription. But it can make a world like a life changing difference. Optimal physiologically normal levels for women are 35 to 65. A lot of my women that show up are less than 12. Like they don't even show up on the lab range whenever I check their labs. So super important, check your total testosterone. You can check your free testosterone, but they should be worked into screening panels, especially if you have some of those symptoms.
