If you have these three symptoms, it's time to get your thyroid checked. I'm Nicole McPherson, physician assistant, and I'm the founder of Modern Thyroid Clinic. So all I do all day is help people with their thyroid problems. Let's dig in. Number one, if you're tired, if you have brain fog, so if you're struggling getting through your day, either from an energy standpoint or a cognitive clarity standpoint, I'd say that's your biggest indicator. Number two is gaining weight, your metabolism slowing down. Either you're having to overly restrict to maintain your weight or kind of doesn't matter what you do, you're still packing on a few pounds every year or every few months. It's time to get it checked. And lastly, if you're starting to lose your hair or even like the outer portion of your thigh eyebrows is thinning. Once you have all those three together, I definitely say take a good hard look at your thyroid. Tune into my profile to find out exactly what labs you need to get checked to get a thyroid workup.
