I have the best travel hack for avoiding jet lag, feeling crappy from the plane, getting inflamed, all of that. So I travel a lot and I'm an inflamed person like all my thyroid people. So I'm often constantly battling inflammation and looking at ways to optimize it. And I have like the trick. So if, especially if you're traveling overseas and you want to avoid jet lag, or even if you're just traveling by way of a few hours, but you tend to feel bad on days that you fly, this will minimize it and make it completely not an issue. Of course, like this can't be medical advice. Check with your doctor, yada yada yada. But the secret is y' all fast on the day that you fly. So if you're flying out at 5pm, wake up and fast until you arrive to where you're going. If you are traveling to Europe, what I do is I wake up the day of my flight, I don't eat, I fast overnight on the airplane and then when I arrive to my destination, I'll eat that day. And jet lag when I do this as compared to when I don't is night and freaking day. So if you'll try it, let me know and comment any questions that you have and share this with a friend.
