In this short Arabic monologue, the speaker emphasizes that God created the world for human enjoyment and did not forbid any of its pleasures. He argues that many people misrepresent true zuhud (renunciation) by adopting an exaggerated ascetic stance that distorts its authentic spirit. Citing the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) hadith—"Fast and break the fast, pray and sleep, marry and eat meat"—the speaker asserts that the prophetic Sunnah prescribes a balanced approach: enjoying life’s blessings while maintaining religious duties. He warns that rejecting this balanced Sunnah is a deviation from the Prophet’s guidance, and calls listeners to adopt a moderate, grateful attitude toward worldly joys.
