In this YouTube monologue, Draymond Green lauds Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, describing him as a special talent whose game continues to evolve. Green highlights how NBA veterans LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant are embracing Edwards, effectively handing him leadership responsibilities and allowing him to run the team's offense when on the floor. He references Edwards' half‑joking yet serious claim that teammates will have to learn to fit around him, emphasizing Edwards' extreme confidence—bordering on cockiness—and arguing that such self‑belief is essential for greatness. Green frames Edwards' mindset and the veteran endorsement as key factors separating him from his peers.

But if you understand anything about greatness, you got to be very close to cocky in order to be great at anything. And so having that belief, being a little cocky, is actually what separates him.
