In a brief interview clip, Draymond Green asks Candace Parker (Speaker B) who she considers the greatest female basketball player of all time. Parker explains that she bases her choice on the era she grew up in, highlighting Cheryl Miller as the GOAT because of Miller's unique combination of size (6'2"), athleticism, ball-handling skills, and her pioneering impact before the WNBA existed. Parker notes Miller's career was cut short and that many never saw her play, yet her influence transcended women's basketball, shaping the sport as a whole. Draymond Green responds with admiration, recalling his own childhood awareness of Miller and emphasizing the universal respect she commands across basketball, reinforcing the idea that Miller's legacy validates Parker's choice.

Who's the GOAT, the greatest woman of all time? They don't mention your name enough in that conversation for me, and I have a problem with it. So I need to know who's yours.
I'm a big era person. I love that. I love that. And I feel like the GOAT is who you aspire to be like, right? Like when you're in your driveway and you're trying to be like that person. And I watched a lot of tape, and my dad was big on Cheryl Miller. I know a lot of people didn't get to see her play, and her career was cut short, and there was no WNBA for her to really prove what could have been. I think just somebody at 6'2" that could handle the ball, that was athletic, like you didn't see that. She was way before her time. So I think Cheryl Miller to me is that.
I think that's absolutely amazing. I knew about Cheryl Miller growing up as a kid. My aunt actually was a standout basketball player. So I knew of all the women, like, growing up back in the day. And Cheryl Miller, I feel like the respect that everyone had for her. With Cheryl, it wasn't even about women's basketball. What she meant to basketball as a whole, like, I think that validates that statement.
