In this informal YouTube monologue, Draymond Green offers his personal take on the Eastern Conference NBA landscape. He asserts that the Boston Celtics are the clear top team and unlikely to be dethroned. He then evaluates the New York Knicks, highlighting their roster of players like OG Anunoby, Miles Bridges, Jalen Brunson, and Josh Hart, and expresses skepticism about their ability to beat Boston despite his own affinity for the Knicks. Green discusses specific player matchups, noting that Al Horford could trouble KAT (likely Karl-Anthony Towns) and that Jrue Holiday could effectively guard Kevin Durant. He proceeds to rank the Eastern teams in his view, placing the Celtics first, followed by the Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, and then mentioning the Magic, Pacers, and Sixers, though he seems uncertain about the Sixers' placement. The tone is conversational and confident, reflecting Green’s insider perspective and personal biases.

Do you think the Celtics will come back outta the East again? You know, I played for the Knicks. I gotta say the Knicks gonna come out the East this year. I feel like you got OG, you got Bridges, you know, Jalen Brunson, and then a bunch of scrappy dudes like Josh Hart. He gonna play hard. I think you tripping. They don't have a chance at beating the Celtics. The Celtics defensively, Al Horford, I'm telling you, Al Horford is going to give KAT some trouble. Oh, big time. Although Drew Holliday, I bet you can guard Kevin Durant. Like Drew Holliday. I don't put nothing past Drew Holliday. That's from Brooklyn, by the way. I like the Knicks, but I don't think they can compete with the Boston Celtics. I just don't think so. Boston's the best team. All right, yeah, exclude Boston. So next is the Knicks. Then you got Milwaukee. Then the Knicks? Knicks, Milwaukee. Sixers? No. Wait, you know you ain't rolling with the Sixers? Uh-uh. Knicks, Milwaukee, Magic, Pacers, and then I'll roll with the Sixers.
