In a YouTube clip, Draymond Green answers a fan question about who could become the future face of the NBA, focusing on current college prospects. He highlights Caleb Wilson as his top pick, noting his candor, game, and upside, while acknowledging A.J. DuBose’s polish and Darren Peterson’s talent. Green critiques Peterson’s recent comment about being a loner, suggesting that a league’s face needs a willingness to embrace a public role, though he concedes that being a loner doesn’t preclude greatness. He also mentions other potential candidates like Ant‑Man, Wimby, and Cade, emphasizing that the league’s face isn’t appointed but emerges organically.

@dimitrius.hall10 asks, "Who will be the future face of the league and are they currently in college?" The future face could be in college. You know, you talking a draft class with A.J. DuBose, Darren Peterson. I will say the one in that draft class that I will say could be the future of the league is Caleb Wilson. Has the candor, has the game, he has the upside. A.J. DuBose has the polish already. Darren Peterson got the game. He said something the other day that worried me a bit. He said, "I've always been a loner and deal with things myself." When you're talking about the face of the league, like, that's something that you have to want. If he's saying like, "Yo, I'm a loner. I don't really deal with all of that stuff," then that to me says he wouldn't necessarily want to be the face of the league. 'Cause you gotta have the game, and I think he got the game. If he doesn't want that, that doesn't make him wrong. He can still be great. That's an entirely different thing. So, could be in college, could be Ant-Man, could be Wimby, could be Cade. The one thing I will say is the face of the league isn't appointed by anyone in the league. It just kind of happens. Yeah. Hello.
