In this YouTube commentary clip, Warriors forward Draymond Green evaluates the Milwaukee Bucks forward Dillon Brooks, asserting that Brooks is poised to become more than just an All‑Defense selection. Green cites praise from DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, who claims every team needs a player like Brooks, and places Brooks in the same conversation as hard‑nosed defenders such as Marcus Smart and Dennis Rodman. While acknowledging Brooks has only one All‑Defense team to his name, Green emphasizes his gritty, heart‑of‑the‑team style, his ability to mix up opponents, and his potential to earn an All‑Star berth if he maintains his current level of play. Green admits he was initially skeptical of Brooks early in his career but now, based on recent performance, believes Brooks can achieve higher accolades.

I think he'll be a little more than All-Defense. I think he has a legit opportunity to be an All-Star if he keep this up. Big Boogie Cousins praised Dylan Brooks and said every team should have a guy like him. Dylan Brooks is in the conversations of myself, Marcus Smart, Dennis Rodman. My thoughts on that list are he only got one All-Defense team, so you would love to see that list continue to grow. But nonetheless, I do think he is your hard-playing guy. I think he is the heart of your team. I think he is the guy that's gonna mix it up. And so I'm not mad at Boogie putting Dylan Brooks in that category. With what he's continued to prove, I wasn't sold earlier in his career, I'll be honest, but you continue to work, I'mma always be honest and keep it real. He continue to play the way he's playing, I think he'll be a little more than all defense. I think he has a legit opportunity to be an All-Star if he keep this up. Woo!
