In this YouTube short, Warriors forward Draymond Green reacts to a media segment—specifically a comment by Stephen A. Smith—where Steph Curry was labeled a "bad leader." Green describes feeling hurt and angry, questioning how Curry could be seen as a poor leader given his on‑court conduct. He contrasts the situation with how criticism would be directed at a teammate of LeBron James. A second speaker notes that leadership expectations would fall on the player themselves. Acknowledging the public fallout from his own actions, Green issues a sincere, public apology to Curry, stating his intent to make amends.

One thing throughout this process that really hurt me, I turned on the TV screen and someone, Stephen A. was like, "Steph is a bad leader." What about Steph Curry?
You are the leader. If this were a teammate of LeBron James, we'd be asking LeBron, "What you gonna do about it?" Because Draymond did X.
It pissed me off, but it crushed me. How is Steph enduring being a bad leader? Like this guy doesn't give us anything to tear him down about. This guy does everything the right way. And yet he's being tore down because my actions crushed me. Because he got crushed publicly for that, I'm gonna apologize publicly. I sincerely apologize to Steph for my actions. Boom, boom, boom.
