In this YouTube monologue, Warriors forward Draymond Green narrates a sequence from a Warriors‑Wizards matchup. He describes an early foul when a player named George pushes him, noting the physicality and his calm response. Later, after a ball‑screen play, Green attempts a late‑stage defensive contest that technically isn’t his assignment, earning an extra point on the Stackhouse Defensive Grades metric. He humorously connects the moment to the social media buzz, where fans on Twitter linked his defensive point to Stephen Curry’s three‑pointer, highlighting the interplay between on‑court actions and online commentary.

And I just tapped him on the chest like, "Hey, it's cool." As the game keep going on, you know how you could see a look in somebody's eye when you like going, he like, he's like talking to me. "Yeah, we can't say—" I ain't paying him no mind because last year he ain't say a word. So I'm thinking to myself like, "We ain't—" Oh yeah, he ain't gonna say nothing, it's gonna be cool. He was talking. They run the ball screen, he go off the floor, flare, our man get whacked. I'm gonna make a last-ditch effort and try to get a contest. My man just pointed at me like I was guarding him, bro. I just tried to get a late contest. On Stackhouse Defensive Grades, I'm gonna get an extra point for that late contest that wasn't even supposed to be my contest. So everybody on my Twitter like, Draymond point, Steph hits a 3. Well, it's actually the same exact thing because then he went and got a contest that wasn't his contest. Yeah. And I pointed back at him.
