In this YouTube short, Warriors forward Draymond Green reflects on the team's 134‑120 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers, highlighting the 26 three‑pointers made and his personal shooting rhythm. He recounts shooting with teammate Travis, noting how opponents tend to help off him and his usual tactics for making them pay, though he chose a more straightforward “tray ball” approach that night. Green mentions the impact of Anthony Davis’s absence on the Lakers’ defense, and he reacts humorously to former NBA sharpshooter Reggie Miller calling him a “splash cousin,” downplaying the label and the pressure associated with the famed shooting family. The tone is casual, self‑aware, and lightly boastful, offering insight into his on‑court mindset and the team’s offensive flow.

We beat the Lakers last night, 134 to 120, hitting 26 threes. Man, it felt good. Honestly, I went to shoot with Travis yesterday. I told him like, yo, my shot feel good. Like, and I gotta just come off firing because I know they're gonna help off. They always play me like that. They are probably as egregious as any team about helping off of me. You know, I have my ways of making teams pay when they do help off. But last night I didn't use those ways. I used the tray ball. Honestly, was just taking what the defense gives me. And you know, with AD not being out there obviously changes their defense. Got a little shout out from the great Reggie Miller, called me a splash cousin. Y'all don't need that. Y'all can go find another splash cousin. The expectations of that family and the way they shoot the ball, I'm not quite sure I need nor want those expectations. So I don't need all that pressure, what those guys are doing. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
