In a solo commentary, Draymond Green evaluates the New York Knicks' playoff trajectory. He acknowledges the team's ability to win the first round and expresses confidence they could also secure a second‑round series victory. However, Green argues that Jalen Brunson's ball‑dominant style will prevent the Knicks from reaching the NBA Finals, describing it as a barrier to the "promised land." He highlights Dante DiVincenzo's 23‑point effort, emphasizing the importance of getting touches to help the team win. Green also addresses fan accusations that he dislikes the Knicks, clarifying that his criticism stems from honesty rather than bias.

Knicks are on their way to the second round led by Jalen Brunson. Oh, but let me tell you, it was not as ball dominant as it has been. Dante DiVincenzo, who I told you all needed to play well, needed to get touches in order to get off to help the team win, finished with 23 points. A lot of Knicks fans are trying to make it out to be like, Draymond don't like us, Draymond hate the Knicks. I don't hate the Knicks. However, I am honest and I'm not delusional. And a ball dominant Jalen Brunson ain't gonna get you to the promised land, I said. I didn't say you weren't gonna win first round series. I didn't even say you weren't gonna win the second round series. 'Cause if I'm honest, I think you guys should easily win the second round series. So I didn't say that. I said you can't get to the promised land. And quite frankly, if I'm honest, I still don't think you can.
