In this short YouTube clip, NBA veteran Draymond Green addresses the controversy surrounding Luka Dončić's alleged habit of hunting fouls, focusing on a specific playoff incident where Dončić fouled Karl‑Anthony Towns (KAT) out of the game. Green acknowledges that Dončić does sometimes seek fouls, but argues that it is not the foundation of his game, emphasizing Dončić's skill as a shooter and scorer. He explains that in the particular play, while Dončić may have leaned forward, it was KAT's aggressive forward movement that made him vulnerable to the call. Green also notes that referee Scott Foster could have chosen to overturn the call, but given KAT's positioning, the foul was understandable.

There was a lot of talk about Luka's foul that he got, that fouled KAT out. Luka huntin' fouls. Here's what I'll say about that. Yes, Luka does hunt fouls. There are also a lot of other guys in the NBA that hunt fouls. I don't think Luka's game is built on huntin' fouls, 'cause Luka is a tough shot taker and a tough shot maker. The particular play where he fouled KAT out, everybody like, "Oh, he jumped forward." Did he lean forward a little bit? Yes. But KAT came forward so much that you make yourself susceptible to the call. Can Scott Foster say, "Oh, we take that out the game"? Yes. But like I said, on that one in particular, KAT leaned so far, jumped so far forward that you almost have to call it.
