In a post‑game interview, Draymond Green discusses the recent Warriors victory, highlighting several key moments and player dynamics. He notes Steph Curry’s block on Gary Trent Jr. and describes how Curry seemed more liberated and confident after the play. Green emphasizes Jimmy Butler’s influence, quoting Curry’s remark that Butler’s impact is felt on every possession. Green draws a parallel between Curry’s off‑ball movement—constantly finding openings—and Butler’s similar ability to work without the ball, explaining that both players break down defenses in comparable yet distinct ways. The conversation underscores the energizing effect of Butler’s play on the Warriors and the belief it instills in the team.

You know, it's been a while since I've gone into basketball games like, oh yeah, we gonna go, let's win. It feel great, bro. I know when it's right.
I could see it, I could feel it. You got up for the big time block against Gary Trent Jr. Steph got to chefing. Jimmy Butler got to serving. Postgame, Steph said Jimmy Butler's impact on him every possession, doesn't feel as hard.
I understand what Steph is saying. I agree. Like Steph just looked more free. He looked like he got belief.
He energized. One of the most incredible things that Steph does is play without the ball.
Jimmy has that same thing. When Steph said, "Yo, we have like opposite games." Like it's on so many different levels. Like the way Steph is running around, like to find an opener to get the ball. Jimmy is like just working on the backside. It's crazy. They break the defense down the same way, but different.
