In this YouTube commentary, Draymond Green discusses the recent firing of Philadelphia 76ers executive Daryl Morey. Green acknowledges Morey's notable achievements—trading for James Harden, securing a max contract for Harden, building competitive Houston Rockets rosters, and signing Tyrese Maxey to a max deal in Philadelphia. He then argues that Morey's inability to sustain success stems from repeated interference by Bob Myers, the former Golden State Warriors GM now influencing Philadelphia's basketball decisions. Green predicts that because Myers continues to shape the Sixers' roster moves, Morey will lose his role as President of Basketball Operations. While noting that Myers means well, Green frames Morey's dismissal as an unfortunate but predictable outcome of his clashes with Myers.

And now Darryl Morey is gonna lose his role as the president of basketball operations due to Bob Myers making the basketball decisions in Philly. Darryl Morey just kind of keeps running into Bob Myers and it's, it's unfortunate. I know Bob means well, but Morey kind of had this one coming.
